"Zhan Chen, what do you know about the Soul island?", Chi Zhuyan looked towards Zhan Chen after Tao Shang left.

"It is the treasured land of the Spirit palace. Beside that, I didn't have any idea about the place", Zhan Chen replied.

"Then would you like to know some details about it?", Chi Zhuyan asked.

"Ofcourse", Zhan Chen looked towards Chi Zhuyan with a curious look on his face.

Chi Zhuyan chuckled a little after seeing the easygoing attitude of Zhan Chen. This was what he wanted, to make Zhan Chen more comfortable around him.

"Our Soul island is unlike thre treasured lands of other powers. It does not help in increasing your cultivation rather it will help in strengthening your soul.

Strengthening your soul is the only way if you want to enter the Martial ascension realm", Chi Zhuyan spoke.

Her elder sister is not present. Otherwise, I would have introduced both of them to you", Chi Zhuyan spoke.

Both of the adults looked towards source of the interruption and a speechless look appeared on both of their eyes. It was because Chi Shuying was pouting with a dissatisfied look on her face.

"Miss Shuying, do you want to fight the devils?", Zhan Chen looked towards Chi Shuying with an amused look on his face.

"Of course, I am not a coward like you. Big sister has promised me that she will take me out to fight the devils", Chi Shuying spoke with serious look on her face.

Zhan Chen wanted to pinch her cheeks after seeing how adorable she was looking.

Chi Zhuyan finally realised what had he done. A helpless look appeared on his face as he looked towards Zhan Chen.

"Miss Shuying, I will take you to the battlefield if you want. Your father will not allow you to go out with your sister but I guess he can allow me to take you out", Zhan Chen spoke.

"Really!", Chi Shuying stopped crying and looked towards Zhan Chen with her beady eyes.

"Uncle Zhuyan, what do you say?", Zhan Chen directed the focus towards Chi Zhuyan.

Chi Zhuyan was reluctant to agree as it was also another outrageous proposition for him. But he had to nod his head after seeing the look on his youngest daughter 's eyes.

"No, I have not been thinking anything rather I am amazed that she still has such a pure heart despite her age", Zhan Chen spoke.

"Oh!", finally a smiled appeared on Chi Zhuyan 's face. No matter how calm he was, a father was always worried about his children and he was not different from others in this matter.
