[The Disappearance of the Goddess]

“Geh!? Nazarie!? Why are you here!?”

The next morning.

That was the first thing coming out of the astonished Porco-san’s mouth when we got back to Estona.

Nazarie-san crossed her arms in a sullen manner and said, “Isn’t that obvious? It’s because you go around claiming to be a handsome dwarf.”

“W-what’s wrong with that!? Sure, I’m apparently a bit chubby by human standards, but I’m an authentic handsome dwarf! Even you, Nazarie, would fall heads over heels for me if I kabedon you, wouldn’t you!?”

“In your dreams!?”

“Eek!?”

“If by any chance you ever do something so foolish to me, I will kick up your crotch with all my might, you fool!”

“Awawawawa…!?” Porco-san was so frightened that he immediately clamped his thighs shut and started shivering, his teeth clattering.

Seeing that, Nazarie-san heaved a sigh and explained her real reason for coming here. “Anyway, I’ve heard everything from Exa. I never imagined you’d be the ‘Shield’ Saint, but… well, let’s put that aside for now. Reconstructing the village of the minotaurs takes priority. I promised myself that I’d never set my foot on that big-breasted women-only island even if my life was at stake, but…”

“What!? Big-breasted women-only island!? Where is it!? That paradise!?”

“…Well, if I leave it to this lecherous fatty, the prestige of the dwarves will most likely be tarnished. As such, despite my great reluctance, I’ve decided to accompany you.”

“I see. That’s certainly a wise decision.” Zana nodded with a slight pity on her face.

Nazarie-san then turned towards Elma and said, “And you are Exa’s old friend cum ‘Sword’ Saintess, aren’t you? I’m Nazarie, a dwarf. Nice to meet you.”

“Yes, nice to meet you too.”

As they were shaking hands in lively manner, Nazarie-san called Tirna over, “Hey, you come over here, too,” and the three made a circle.

Then, with eyes glistened with tears, Nazarie-san said to the other two, “I have to leave for an extremely dangerous place, and I may not be able to get back alive. However, don’t lose hope. For we, the ‘no-havers’, are the ultimate winner!”

““?”” But of course, they put on a puzzled look, seemingly unable to comprehend what Nazarie-san was saying.

◇ ◇

With Nazarie-san kindly offering to make brand new equipment for Shiva-san and Elma, we all decided to head to the dwarven village first.

But before that, we went to the sanctuary at the top of the sacred mountain Falgara where Fluga-sama lived to say goodbye to her, but—

“What in the world…”

Fluga-sama was nowhere in sight. Instead, we found the hall inside the sanctuary in a terribly disorganized state, as if a battle had taken place.

Furthermore.

“These blood stains seem still new. I think they are only a few days old…

As Mag Mell said, there were dried blood stains all over the floor.

As our complexions turned dark, wondering if something had happened to Fluga-sama, Porco-san stroked the bloodstain with a mysterious look on his face and sniffed it.

“Hmm!? This wild scent… it must be the goddess’s! I’m sure of it!”

“““““““““……”””””””””

No no no no…

Even if that’s the case, how could you tell that just by the smell…

Naturally, we all cringed at Porco-san’s antics. But come to think of it, Fluga-sama had huge breasts.

That being the case, there might be some truth in what he said.

Or rather, it was a hassle to find other explanations, so let’s just go along with that—was what I sensed from the air surrounding everyone…

“But there should be no one capable of doing anything to Fluga-sama. At least, in this day and age, there’s none except for Exa and the other goddesses. –Oi, meat guy. Do you pick up another woman’s smell from the other blood stains?”

“No, I only detected the smell of Fluga-sama!” Porco-san quickly responded.

Hearing that, Arca fell into thoughts, “Fumu…”

That aside, she just casually treated Porco-san like a dog, didn’t she…?

And seeing that sight, “Eh, where’s my old friend gone to, I wonder…”  Nazarie-san had a faraway look on her face.
