Chapter 5 - Why does he smell so good?!

While she was thinking of a way, there was a knock on the door. Ronglou didn't pay attention to it, she was in deep contemplation.

Li Huangyu went to the door, to see who was knocking. As soon as she opened it, she bowed gracefully. "Your highness, you came." She speak loudly, so the Eldest Miss could hear.

"En. Let your miss know that I came." Xu Fengxin replied.

Ronglou sat up straight, that scammer is here. Crap, crap, crap! Don't fall for his tricks again Ronglou! Get your grip girl! He might be handsome, but he will never go to bed with you! She gathered her courage and made sure she was in pristine condition.

She stood up and held both of her hands gracefully at her front. "Let him in."

"Yes miss. This way, your highness." Li Huangyu brought the Crown Prince inside the room.

"Your highness, you came." Ronglou bowed down gracefully.

Xu Fengxin waved at the servant to make her leave. Li Huangyu took the cue and gave them privacy. She knew how much her Miss loved the Crown Prince.

After Ronglou bowed down, she kept her gaze on the floor. Biting her lips too hard. Her heart was beating fast. She was still in love with this scammer of his. Dammit, he smells so good! Like that Jasmine Flower that I love.

Xu Fengxin lifted one of his eyebrow. His fiancee was really acting different. She wasn't even looking at him with that round hazel eyes of her. There was really something different about her, but he couldn't pin point it just yet.

"En. Sit. I hope I didn't disturb your meal." He said as he sat down across from her.

Ronglou took a deep breath and sat back down. "No, your highness. How could that be?" She looked at him and gave him a warm smile. Luckily, her face was trained how to properly smile. Even without meaning it.

Ronglou studied Xu Fengxin, as he studied her. It was always her running towards him. Even though she acted properly and gracefully, she always made sure to be next to him at all times.

Xu Fengxin had once told her that she was too annoying sometimes. That was after they got married. Only then, she changed her actions and became knowledgeable about the things that he cared for.

She learned everything she could about wars and politics. Which he appreciated later on, since she was a very big help to him. A very big help indeed. The prophecy was right, she could bring the man she loves into greater heights.

"You seem different today. Did something happened?" Xu Fengxin asked. Although he didn't really cared about their marriage, he wasn't a cold person. He would become the next Emperor of Xu Kingdom, it was only right to take good care of his future Empress.

Ronglou slowly dig her hand with her nail. Why is he so nice?! Come on! I wanna hate you, but you make me love you more!

"Lou'er is just worried about the wedding. I have been groomed and prepared for this all my life. Now that it's finally coming, I feel that I am not worth it to become your crown princess." What a liar! She laughed at herself inside her mind. It may be the case one her first life, but not right now.

Xu Fengxin's brows furrowed. Was that really it? He felt that it wasn't really the case, but he also knew that she wouldn't answer it if he asks.

"If you think that you aren't deserving to be my Crown Princess, who would? The noble ladies here nor the Imperial Daughters of the other Kingdoms can't compare to you." Xu Fengxin poured himself some tea to drink.

Ronglou's jaw dropped. He had never said that to her before. How come? For what she knew on her past life, he only complimented her regarding her brain and not her appearance.

"What are you shock about? It's not like the whole Kingdom is keeping it a secret. I'm sure you know how much they admired you. Didn't you usually smile warmly whenever they complimented you?" Xu Fengxin's smirked and drank his tea.
