Chapter 36 - Personally escorting my brother-in-law

While Ronglou was "secretly" meeting with someone. Hongfe was walking back and forth in the Inn's hallway.

For some reason, he was feeling uncomfortable again. He only left for a couple of hours at most, but Ronglou has been gone for almost 3 hours. Unable to calm his mind, he finally decided to go out and find her. He didn't think that Ronglou would leave him just like that. He trusted her. In this life, he rarely trusted anybody. You could've said that she was the only person that he trusted aside from his subordinates.

"Did you find her?" He asked as he used his qing gong to traverse the street.

A shadow flew beside him and said, "Zi Bai found her near the lake, north of town."

"En." Changing routes, Hongfe flew that direction.

Guang Town wasn't big, so he arrived quickly. What he saw was Ronglou and Huangyu was already headed back. For odd reasons, he looked towards the lake. He saw a man dressed in black looking at Ronglou. This made his chest felt uncomfortable. That look was neither filled with killing intent nor malicious gaze. Instead, it was filled with longing and confusion. Who is that man? he thought. Not long after, he saw the man disappeared. Hongfe was shocked. To disappear just like that, his qing gong must've been high! Higher than his! He shake his head and followed Ronglou. It wasn't time for him to wonder about this!

"Where did you go?" Hongfe appeared in front of Ronglou. His eyebrows were crinkled together. He looks like an abandoned husband at home.

Ronglou giggled at her imaginations. "We ate. Why would I wait for you? So I could starve to death? Tsk tsk tsk." She shakes her head.

"I arrived almost 3 hours ago, we could've gone to eat together." For some reason, he was unreconciled. Did she eat with that guy? He couldn't help but think like so.

"Oh? Well, we can still go! Although the stalls might start closing, you could still treat me to a restaurant! Let's go!!!" Thinking about food, Ronglou pulled Hongfe's hand towards the biggest restaurant in town.

Though she ate quite a lot earlier, after walking a lot she was hungry again. Plus, she was saving her money! She didn't want to spend her money in a restaurant! Since there was a someone who was wanting to eat with her, why would she decline? Don't be silly, food is Ronglou's salvation in this lifetime!

"Eat again?" Huangyu's mouth twitched as she followed her Mistress. Her stomach was still hard and full! Is her Mistress hungry again?! She could only shake her head. She had never seen her Mistress eat this much before!

"Your Highness, our intel says that the Third Young Master Yu Zhefan went to Chen City. After resting for the night, he left heading east." Zu Bai narrated the news. He was the Crown Prince's most trusted subordinate.

Fengxin laid back in his chair. His hand was playing with his lips, he couldn't help but smirk. "Got yah..." he whispered.

"Shall we send someone to follow him, your highness?" Seeing the smirk on the Crown Prince's face, he couldn't help but sweat. That smirk only meant one thing, it would mean trouble to whoever he laid his eyes on. In this case, it was the future Crown Princess. The Crown Prince had been at a dead end on locating the future Crown Princess's whereabouts.

Being the Crown Prince, he had a variety of ways to gather information. Xu Fengxin had been doubtful from the very beginning. So he got someone to tail the Third Young Master Yu Zhefan's whereabouts. If someone would be most anxious about the disappearance of Yu Ronglou, it would be Yu Zhefan. Everyone in town knows how protective the Third Young Master Yu Zhefan in regards to his little sister Yu Ronglou. Even though he loves food, parties, and women, they are nothing in his eyes compared to his sister.

On one occasion, he even beat someone close to death when that person said that Yu Ronglou wasn't that good looking at all. Having the most perfect smile on her face, makes her look like a doll without life. It was at that time when everyone knew that he has a sister complex with his sister.

Unfortunately, even Zhefan didn't know where his little sister went. He had been everywhere trying to locate his little sister. At some point, even Fengxin was vexed. Not until the Eldest and the Second Young Masters of the Yu Residence came, that Zhefan finally moved towards a different lead. Fengxin even felt that the Two older brothers were acting weird. Although they were showing furious actions, it didn't glow on their eyes.

"No, I shall head there so see it myself. I should personally escort my brother-in-law to see his sister. This should be fun." Xu Fengxin stood up and left the room.
