Chapter 48 - Kneel and Bow to me!

Just as he was thinking of ways to find her, someone knocked on their door. Zu Bai was surprised. Who could it be? He thought. No one knew that they were here, so he couldn't help but be alert. He opened the door slightly to check who it was. A page boy was waiting outside.

"Sir, Good evening. I am sent by my Young Master to ask your Master to meet him in Shu-zheng Restaurant. He will be waiting on the third room of the second floor." The page boy respectfully bowed.

"Who's your Young Master?" Zu Bai asked.

"My young master said to give you this. Your Master should be able to recognize who my Master is." The page boy handed Zu Bai a red leaf. It was a leaf from a Red Budding Tree.

After handing the leaf, the page boy bowed again and left. Zu Bai was puzzled but went back inside and closed the door.

"Hand it to me." Xu Fengxin extended his hand. Zu Bai didn't hesitate and handed the red leaf to his master.

Seeing the Red Leaf on his hand, Xu Fengxin chuckled. As he chuckled, his hand crushed the red leaf into dust.

"Zu Bai, let's go. It would be rude to let him wait." Xu Fengxin stood and walk towards the door.

Zu Bai was shocked. He didn't know who was the person who could make his Master infuriated this much. Yes, his Master was emitting a killing aura as soon as he saw the red leaf. Don't tell me, it's him?! His eyes widened at the thought. He followed his Master as they head towards the restaurant. It had been so many years since that man interacted with his Master. As they arrived, The man in red robes smiled to his guests. "Xu Fengxin, long time no see?" He raised his glass of wine to him.

"Yuan Dongming, I almost thought you died since the last time we met. A pity that my killing blow didn't kill you." Xu Fengxin entered the room and sat down across the table with the man dressed in red robes.

Yuan Dongming laughed. "Too bad indeed. No worries, I am alive to enlighten your life. Did I hear that your bride to be left you? hahaha. What a shame." He then gulped his wine.

Xu Fengxin didn't touch any drinks nor food. It knew that he wasn't here to eat but to see what this man was up to. This man in front of him was his enemy, it would be no surprise if the food and drinks were poisoned. The last time they met, they had a huge confrontation. Hearing his mocking words, Xu Fengxin couldn't help but clenched his fist. Still, he didn't show it on his face that he felt uneasy.

"Yuan Dongming, don't think that since you survived once from my killing blow that you can be able to do it again. Don't test my patience."

Yuan Dongming smirked. "No matter, I invited you here since I know where your little princess went. The moment you kill me, my men would kill her. A pity that she didn't bring any bodyguards with her on her journey." If there was one thing Yuan Dongming loves, it was to tease and infuriate Xu Fengxin.
