Chapter 82 - Spring Love

"Hmmm... What a nice view in the morning." Yu Ronglou stretches her body out after doing the morning exercises that her New Master assigned to her. She had been inside the academy for nearly a month now and so far so good.

She focuses herself on at least learning some basic defenses. Yu Ronglou knew that it was too late for her to become a Martial Artist and so she can only make do. Usually, Martial Artists start learning by the age of 6. She was already at her marriageable age. Anyways, she wasn't after becoming a master. Yu Ronglou just wanted to learn how to protect herself. So as not to be bullied in the future. Especially that she plans on traveling far away.

Aside from learning basic stuff, she also asked her Master to teach her how to survive in the wild. She grew up pampered and even in her previous life. This time, she needed to be able to know these things. In this life, she was determined to live in a simple life. Despite how Tai Xingfu's twitching lips and pulsating veins on his forehead when he heard this request, he couldn't say no. His own master had drilled him into agreeing to any requests that his new disciple asks. Who was the master here and who was the disciple?! Poor Tai Xingfu, he could not voice out his complaints.

"What are you gawking over here for?" Speaking of the devil, her Master Tai Xingfu came up behind her.

"Just enjoying the view Master." Yu Ronglou didn't even turn her head around to greet him. She continued to glued her eyes to what's in front of her.

"View?" Tai Xingfu turned his attention out front and his lips couldn't stop twitching again. The so-called "view" she was mentioning was a group of students practicing martial arts. In fact, they were all men without their upper clothes on.

He looked at this new disciple of his and couldn't help but become shocked, annoyed, and frustrated at the same time. Tai Xingfu sighed heavily. Endure Xingfu, Endure. He said to himself.

"Aren't they beautiful creatures?" Yu Ronglou sighed along with her Master.

"Creatures?" Tai Xingfu couldn't help but gawk at her. This woman is really shameless! "Go and wash up! I'll bring you to learn some basic herbs!" After saying it, he turned and left.

"Ayyyy... Why is Master so shy? He looks good too ah! Hihihi. But your disciple can't eat Master ah! That Su Wenshin would probably kill me. hahaha... Master! Wait!" Yu Ronglou ran to follow him.

"It's been a month, Li Huangyu should be done by now." Yu Ronglou laid on her bed. She had an eventful day today. She didn't know that learning herbs could be interesting. Although her body isn't suited for Martial Arts, she could probably at least become knowledgeable about herbs and medicine. She wasn't dumb after all. She was really talented when it comes to studying and reading. How else would she have learned the ways of the battlefield and politics in her previous life?

As she was about to close her eyes, she heard a knock on her window. Yu Ronglou instantly became alert. This is bad, she can't even detect anything. It looks like she had to learn more about Martial Arts.

Yu Ronglou walked to her window and open it to see her night visitor. As she opened the window, she saw a man standing not far. He was dressed in all black and with some mask on.

"Follow me." He said and then he left.

Yu Ronglou was puzzled, but somehow she felt that the voice was familiar. She didn't feel any danger coming from him and so she got out of the window to follow him. They both trailed out of the Academy and into somebody's courtyard.

"Go in, The Young Master is waiting for you inside." Then the black clothes man left.

By the time she got here, she already remembered where she had heard that voice from. No wonder she felt familiar. She then walked inside and greeted.

"Young Master Gu is really well informed." Yu Ronglou sat down on the chair opposite to him.

"Young Miss Yu sure has hidden well." Gu Hongfe smiled sarcastically as if finally caught up with his missing wife.
