Chapter 8

“We’re here,” Han said

Miss Kim let out a small yelp as he grabbed her by the hand and pulled her behind a car. She landed roughly on him and felt her chest press into his own.

Han held his hand up to his mouth while ignoring the blush that crept up Miss Kim’s cheeks. This was a serious situation to be acting like this. Get your head straight woman.

“What is it?”

Miss Kim asked this while getting off Han. Han pointed towards the military outpost and Miss Kim’s eyes widened. It was crawling with even more zombies than she remembered! Were there not at least two hundred zombies here!? how did she expect Han to handle all of this by himself!?

Han held his hand up to his mouth and pointed his hand towards the metal bat in her hand. Miss Kim reluctantly gave him the bat and then Han moved out from cover.

Miss Kim was worried about the number of zombies because all she could see were monsters. But for Han, he didn’t see these things as monsters anymore. All he saw was XP!!!!

SLAM!

Han tore through their numbers like they were nothing but weeds. They didn’t even have a chance to put up a fight against him. He already dealt with more than this number last night, and now that he had a proper night’s sleep, he felt like he could take on the world ad win easily!

[You have gained +2 free points]

This was how Han went until he cleared the entire base. By the time he was done with them all, he had leveled up to level 9 and gained an extra 20 free points. Han was salivating at the thought of how strong he will be when he uses these free points. If he was unstoppable now, then he would be the strongest man in the world by then.

In fact, wasn’t he already the strongest man in the world!?

Why are you pressing your ass into me!? It’s so soft!

“Are you blind Tao Long? Don’t you see what this man did to the zombies here? Do you still want to fight him knowing that he is an [Unchanged]?”

There it was again. Han wondered what a [Unchanged] was. Was it some sort of special force unit here that helped them take care of zombies? He didn’t know why the men around suddenly began to take steps away from him once they heard what Miss Kim said. Where the [Unchanged] that dangerous?

Even Tao Long took one large step back before he could think about it. He was also afraid of the [Unchanged]

Then all of a sudden there was an oppressive feeling in the air and Han saw Miss Kim step close to him. He would have usually focused o the fact that she was now pressing even deeper into him, but there were other things on his mind. Like the fact that he was literally feeling all the warning bell in his head go off at once.

“An [Unchanged] huh?”

There, standing on top of a car was a tall woman with a scarf covering the lower part of her face. Her blonde hair whipped in the wind and her violent eyes pierced into Han. Han automatically knew that this woman was dangerous. She wasn’t like the other men here. They were all just fodder when compared to her.

“Who is the [Unchanged]?”

Her sultry voice echoed over the space and Han rose a brow when Tao Long rose a shaky hand towards him. So this man was also a rat? What kind of bro was he? Had he never heard the adage bros before hoes!?

The woman looked towards him and Han stared right back. He thought that she would immediately attack him, but he didn’t know that she was more interested in other things. A fierce wind blew her scarf to one side and her lower face finally came into view to show her large shark teeth.

Tao Long fell to his behind while staring up at her.

“C-C-Carnivore!!!”

Once he shouted this, the men in the clearing immediately ran toward their cars, but the woman spared no time and dealt with them before they even knew what way they were going. She stabbed and punched them all, only one hit was enough o take out one man, and she left no one alive.

She didn’t think she would be taking them so soon, but the [Unchanged] changed things.

Carnivores could only live on human meat and she had made this place into her nest. All the humans in here were food for her to come and take any time she wanted. But the [Unchanged] was different.

It was known among carnivores that meat from the [Unchanged] tasted better than anything humans could ever provide. She has never had a chance to eat the meat from one, but today that this man came into her nest, she will not let him go.

She walked up to the ring leader of the gang she just killed. Tao Long if she remembered his name properly. She had been fattening him up for a long time now, making sure he had more than enough meat in his body for her feast. She only had to give one punch and his head broke on the pavement. There was no need to fatten him anymore. It would be unhealthy if he got any bigger.

The carnivore looked up and saw that Han and Miss Kim were gone. She got up and left the human meat in the parking lot.. She could always come back for it later.
