Chapter 228

On floor fifty, inside the cave of the god, Dyana was busy eating her daily sacrifice! She couldn’t believe how good this meal was! They should be worshiping the person who made this meal along with her! Maybe she would give them better crops this year? Her power was also based on agriculture so it should be easy for her to make the trees produce better fruits for the year! Dyana already helped them a lot with their crops, but she decided that she would give them something good for all the work they are doing!

A portal suddenly opened up in front of Dyana and she squeaked in fright! She unconsciously held her plate of meat closer to her body to protect it! No one will touch her meat! Then someone stepped through the portal and she was shocked!

“Yuuma? Yuuma!!?What do you think you’re doing inside the Temple!? Do you want to die!? If they catch you here, then you won’t get away! Get away right now! You can’t be this careless!”

Dyana forgot all about the meat and she stood up to meet her friend. She couldn’t believe Yuuma would be so stupid! If any of the other Celestials saw her here, then they would come and take her immediately to use her to make a system!! She had to get out of here as soon as possible!

But Yuuma’s expression made Dyana stop in her tracks. Dyana held Yuuma by the shoulder because Yuuma wouldn’t look her in the eye!

“Yuuma!! Yuuma! What is going on with you!? You look like you’ve seen a ghost!!”

Yuuma couldn’t stop the small chuckle that came out form her mouth before she finally looked up at Dyana. Her friend never changed. This woman is still as silly as ever She dragged her hand across her eyes to clean some tears and then spoke.

“Dyana, I need your help”

Dyana was confused by what Yuuma meant and Yuuma then started to explain. She spoke for only a short time, but Dyana’s eyes just got wider and wider as time went on. By the time Yuuma was finished Dyana’s hand went slack and she took a step away from Yuuma. Her voice came out in a low whisper like she couldn’t believe what she just heard.

“You want me to do what?”

“Please, Dyana. I don’t know who else to ask! If we don’t do it, then Han will surely die!”

“And what do you think will happen to me!? Do you think I will be set free if I’m caught!? You want me to grant him that kind of permission!? Are you mad!!!?”

Yuuma shut her eyes tightly and squeezed her hand together because of the amount of anger she could see on Dyana’s face!! This kind of anger was expected! She knew that what she was asking for was too much, this was why she never wanted to involve Dyana in the first place, only the Celestials would know just how much she was asking for. She asked Dyana to grant something that only the Celestials knew about in the system. The contract of submission is something that the Celestials never intended to put inside the system in the first place. It was something that just appeared inside all of the systems they made without them trying to create it.

“Do you believe in him that much? Do you believe that he can save all of you? All the Binaries?”

Yuuma gave a nod that was completely assured! Dyana knew at that moment that Yuuma was betting everything on Han! It was either he won, or they all died! Well, with the shit she is about to do she might die either way, so whatever!!

The next words that Dyana said made Yuuma cry!!

“Fine! I might die and never get to eat another meal again but... You’re my friend, so fine. Tell Han that he has to go to the fifty-first floor and get his Class-based Job before the administrator’s control will work. If he doesn’t do it, then all of this will be for nothing.”

Yuuma’s eyes became wet and couldn’t stop the tears from coming down! Yuuma nodded to show that she understood what Dyana said while trying to clean her eyes of the tears. She couldn’t believe that she was crying. She didn’t know how she ever get such a good friend like Dyana. Someone that would risk so much for her was hard to come by and Yuuma now owed Dyana a lot!!

Dyana rose her hand in front of her and a blue magic circle appeared. She put her hand on top of it and she shook her head from side to side to prepare. The Celestials probably won’t know who did this immediately, but they’ll surely know that it happened on this floor. Once she does it, she is going to get out of here as soon as possible!!

[Celestial recognized. Dyana, will you like to Activate this control? This action is permanent and will unlock the full features of the contract of submission].

Dyana breathed out a nervous breath before she turned her hand to the side and the magic circle turned red.

Han was plummeting to the ground like a comet! His wings had gone completely still, and he couldn’t feel his body! It was like he was paralyzed! Is this arrow laced with paralysis!? There is no other explanation!

Han crashed to the ground and groaned as he felt something crack in his injured arm. That is going to hurt like a bitch tomorrow. Han tried to look down at his chest to see the wound but he couldn’t move his body at all because of the paralysis. So Han cast [Renewal] on his body. He didn’t know if it would work, but he was glad when he suddenly got back a little bit of feeling in his uninjured arm! He brought the arm up and used it to grab into the arrow in his chest before he yanked it out with a grunt! Han stood up after casting a few more [Renewal]s on himself. There was someone out there. Someone with enough power to shoot an arrow that could hurt me. I need to be careful now!

Is it someone that is friends with the dragon? Maybe they’re trying to help their partner?
