When the two kings entered to meet Han, Han sat up and faced them. He was only wearing his trousers and he saw Ai eye his body with some lust before looking at his face again! Ha! This woman didn’t even blush! Well, it’s expected. Unlike the Celestials, she’s a mortal that would have had many intimate relationships in her three thousand years of life, these things must not even be embarrassing for her anymore! I would be more surprised if she actually blushed!
Han nodded to the two kings and then he looked at Gregory with a silent question. ‘What’s going on?’. Gregory nodded towards Quinthreath and Han turned towards the man as well. Quinthreath was the one that asked Gregory to bring them here but it was actually Ai that wanted to speak with Han! Quinthreath told Ai what was probably going to happen now that Han was here and Ai decided that she didn’t like it! Han was just going to force her to sign the contract of submission like that!? Why would he!? Why can’t he just settle for them being allies!?
Ai spoke up even before Quinthreath could.
“I heard about what you would do next and I don’t like it. I don’t want to hand over my kingdom to anyone and serve another king. If you will allow it, I will like us to form an alliance instead. You and I can share trade routes and I can also provide you with adventurers and soldiers if you ever need my help,”
Ai was trying her hardest to make Han accept by giving him more benefits. She knew that Han was stronger than her! Immensely stronger! If they ever had an alliance, then it was obvious that she would be the one to benefit more. An alliance between a strong and a weak person can only benefit the weak one after all! That is why she is trying her hardest to give Han as many things as possible. If she can somehow make him change his mind about the contract of submission then she will be glad!
But she didn’t understand something. She thought the contract of submission that Han was making the kings sign was some sort of choice. She thought that Han was just gathering them under him because he wanted to rule over them! Han almost laughed, who the fuck wants to rule over you crazy people!? You aren’t thinking big enough!
Han looked at the injured woman intensely and Ai had to stop herself from shivering under his intense gaze. It was like he was looking through her! Han was trying to find the best way to solve this issue. This was like another test for him. Up until now, he hasn’t had to use his position to convince anyone to serve him before. He only used force to make people sign the contract till now! Can I convince Ai without resorting to force? It will make me a much better king? I don’t have to use force to make everyone scared of me.
Han narrowed his eyes as he felt irritated. He almost forgot that he was one of the only people that knew what the Celestials were really like. Everyone else in the temple thought they were some sort of supernatural race that gave us a chance to join them. They didn’t know that the Celestials were just bastards that are using us for entertainment!
“The Celestial plane? Is that what you are wishing for? They will never permit you to enter their land,”
Ai was shocked by Han’s statement but Han wasn’t finished yet.
“Have you ever seen a single person entering the Celestial plane before? I know you may say yes, but the truth is very different from what you think. These people didn’t win at all, they were granted permission because their power was beneficial to the celestial. Void travel, time travel, monster creation. These were all powers that the Celestials used to lure us into this temple. They have made us into power-hungry fools that would do anything to get up to their level, but they know that we will never get into their plane. Why else would they put such powerful creatures on the top floors? At your power, you should already be as strong as some of the weaker Celestials but they still won’t give you access into their world because you can never defeat those monsters up there. Have you thought about why?”
Ai blinked and then looked at Quinthreath at her side to try and confirm what Han was saying. She should already be as strong as a Celestial? There is no way! She can’t possibly be as strong as a celestial already! They are almighty being with immeasurable power! There is no way her power is anything like their own! But she wasn’t going to get an answer from Quinthreath because the man was just as shocked as her! This is the first time he is also hearing about this and he didn’t know what to think for now!
Ai asked Han how he could know that they were as strong as Celestials and Han’s answer almost made her fall over in surprise!
“I killed one,”
It was like the entire world was upside down for Ai! Her image of Celestials was being destroyed by this man that wasn’t even a hundred years yet! He said he killed one!? A Celestial!? I refuse to believe it! I don’t want to believe it! It’s Impossible!
For the people in the temple, killing a Celestial was just the same as killing a God. It would be like telling a Christian that you managed to kill an angel or telling the Vikings that you killed one of the Valkyries! It was impossible!
“You all must’ve heard of the scientist. I know he was one of the most popular Celestials because of how much he interacted with the chosen in the temple. He’s dead and I have no regrets about snuffing the life out of him,”
In fact, if Han had a chance to do it again he would definitely do it! He would kill that fucker in the most painful way possible! But now that Han remembered the scientist his mind traveled and he started to think about Dorea. I wonder how that woman is doing? I know it must be really boring in that void alone. Maybe I should try and see her later? Oh, right, I can’t. I’m a wanted man in the Celestial plane. Han chuckled at that and then looked back at the two kings in front of him to see what Ai would do now.
