Chapter 279

Gregory met Han at the shore of the ocean and stood beside him. There were hundreds of soldiers standing behind Han, but they weren’t here to follow him, they were only seeing him off. Han decided that it would be best if Ratte didn’t know he was coming. If Ratte is anything like Quintheath said, then that man will run away if he hears Han is coming! Han wants to surprise him if it is possible.

Han turned to see Gregory and smiled at him. Gregory was looking into the ocean like some sort of romantic protagonist. Han ruffled Gregory’s hair in agitation! Get your head in the game, you brat!! You’ll see your girl later!

“Seriously! Why do you all do this!?”

Gregory shouted this before he glared up at Han as he fixed his hair! The entire family was always doing this to him! Even Rin and Yue always did it! Was it some sort of tradition where they came from!? It was very annoying!

Han chuckled as he spoke.

“Have you told your girl goodbye? I didn’t think she would talk to you anymore after what I did”

Gregory shrugged. You’re the one that scared the shit out of her, not me. She will probably never be able to look you in the eye again now. Scary bastard.

“She came to my room earlier and we spoke, she is a little angry about it, but I don’t think she will do anything stupid. Maybe she will try to find a way, but she will realize that it is pointless – stop looking at me like that”

“Lily, we’re running out of ice wolves. Can you go with Rina to get some?”

Kim said this to Lily as she passed beside the counter with a tray of food and Lily nodded while getting up from beside Yuuma. Yuuma waved goodbye to Lily and went back to her drink. She would have gone with Lily, but the Celestials were still looking for her so she couldn’t go out at all. Yana looked from Yuuma to Lily and asked them what an Ice wolf was. Lily looked at Yana in surprise before realizing that she probably wouldn’t know! She is from the upper floors, so they don’t have that sort of beast there.

“It’s a monster on floor twelve. We use it in making a rare dish that Han taught us. Do you want to come with us? We can get it together”

Yana’s face brightened in glee as she stood up quickly! She was so excited that she immediately shouted!

“Yes! I want to come!”

Lily was shocked that Yana was so excited. Was it really that boring on the upper floors? You look like this is the greatest adventure you’ve ever had! Rina came over while smiling and Yana blushed in embarrassment when she saw that everyone in the restaurant was looking at her. She looked to the side and tried to calm herself! She is being too excited! This might be the first time she has been here, but she can’t act like this!

A hand touched Yana on the back and Yana turned around to see Rin there. Rin wasn’t working in the restaurant anymore since she was already showing her baby bump, but she tried to stay around to hang out with the other girls. She smiled at Yana and then spoke to Lily.

“When you go, try to grab some basilisk as well. I think we’re going to run out very soon. It should be on floor thirteen, so you don’t have to go that far”

The basilisk was not the same one Rin hunted a while back with Kim (Chapter 180). This one was a much larger beast that was also very poisonous.

Lily nodded and the three girls started to leave the restaurant. But Yana turned when she saw the general coming with her. She shook her head and the man stopped in shock!? What!? Please, don’t do this! I’m meant to protect you! How can I protect you if you leave without me!? The general was literally begging the Queen with his eyes!

Yana narrowed her eyes at him! She can’t have this man coming with her like this! She just wants to hang out with her sisters! Once the general saw her glare, he immediately knew he wouldn’t win this argument. No matter what he did, this woman is still his queen. He can’t disobey her no matter what. So he just bowed and then went back to the corner he was standing at before and Yana smiled as she walked out along with Lily and Rina. the general prayed that nothing happened to the queen. It would be his head on a pole if anything harmed her.
