CH 14

Name:Pokemon Master Author:齐成琨
Sandshrew is a bipedal mammalian Pokémon and resembles a mouse, but runs on all fours while running.

The hide of this pokemon is yellowish-brown, hard, dry, and has a brick-like pattern that makes it look like brick walls. The lower jaw and abdomen are cream-colored and have a thick conical tail at the back. There are three small sharp claws on the forelimb and two toes on the hind limb; The ears are very small and triangular, and look simple.

The blue and black eyes of the Sandshrew in the distance kept looking towards his side. Obviously, it also found that Fang yuan had been looking towards it.

The action of the Sandshrew, naturally, did not go unnoticed by its trainer; a girl with short brown hair who was about the same age as Fang Yuan.

When the other side looked over, Fang Yuan responded with a polite smile and then refocused his attention on Eevee.

Sandshrew, ground type, rat pokemon, because it is timid, they dig holes in the sand to avoid the predators. This is the nature of Sandshrew. This kind of pokemon was a professional expert in digging holes. When it comes to playing with sand, just as Fang yuan expected, no matter how hard Eevee tried to build the sandcastle, it couldn’t surpass the sandcastle of Sandshrew.

Until meal time, Eevee still took a lot of pain to modify its work. Only after Fang Yuan’s call, Eevee came back to its senses, then its stomach issued a growl and it showed a pitiful expression.

By this time the Sandshrew and its trainer had left, but there was a sandcastle, which Eevee’s eyes had looked at countless times. Although its work has surpassed most of the remaining works on the beach, this sandcastle still made little Ibrahimovic very dissatisfied.

“We’ll come back after the meal.”

FangYyuan picked up Eevee and patted its head. Although it was only a small matter, it reflected Eevee’s unyielding will. This rare and valuable spirit couldn’t be lost. Even if these past few days, he spent with Eevee only building sandcastles, it was worth it.

“Vee Vee~”

After obtaining Fang Yuan’s permission, Eevee paused for a moment, then cried out with delight.

In the afternoon, Fang Yuan and Eevee did not encounter that Sandshrew and girl, and the sandcastle also had disappeared. Although Eevee did not have the actual castle to contrast, it could still compare by the virtue of impression and kept revising.

However, due to the size problem, in some details of the carving, Eevee could not be as perfect as the Sandshrew….

In terms of seriousness and hard work, it has not lost to the Sandshrew.

Just when Eevee wanted to redo it again, Fang Yuan stopped it and pointed to the side. Eevee immediately understood and found a new area to build a sandcastle.

Looking at one of the best and longest time-consuming masterpieces Eevee has built up so far. Fang Yuan couldn’t bear to see it get knocked down. First, he picked up his mobile phone to take a photo, then he picked up a small tool to carve out the details for Eevee.

In fact, Fang Yuan had also taken photos of Eevee’s previous work to keep them as souvenirs and would show them to Eevee in the future.

“Vee….”

Eevee, who moved to a nearby area, heard the movement, turned its head, and looked at the Fang Yuan and sandcastle lying there. Its mood was a little complicated. It recalled Fang Yuan accompanying it all day. Suddenly, it got a strange feeling in its heart, which was different from any previous mood. This also caused it to stop the movement of building sandcastles.

And carefully observed the movement of Fang Yuan.

At that moment, Eevee felt like it could stand in the perspective of Fang Yuan and feel every move of the sand. Then the next movement, Eevee suddenly felt that the sand under its body was a little hot. It seemed a strange wave was coming out and resonated with its body.

This feeling made it panic, and it let out a confused cry, which immediately attracted Fang Yuan. When Fang Yuan looked over, it saw Eevee’s short and thin forelegs seem to be manipulating the sand and violently pushing to the other side.

After an incredible experience, Eevee felt that its body was back to normal, but that strange feeling it remembered clearly, as if its body had a memory, it could do the same thing again if it wanted to.

“This is… Sand attack move?”

Fang Yuan was surprised when he found Eevee’s abnormality. He thought Eevee needed to go through training to understand this move, but who knew it learned automatically in such a situation.

It should be known that it was very difficult to learn a new move in reality.  Even the moves that could be learned by leveling up in the game were not 100 percent understood by the Pokemon.

Sand Attack was a ground-type move, which could control the sand and reduce the opponent’s attack accuracy rate. In the game, it was the first move that Eevee could learn by upgrading its level. However, in reality, there was no concept of level upgrading. To learn a move, Pokemon need some specific time to understand it. They could also learn it when trainers train them in a specific manner, but it was absolutely impossible to learn without any reason. Eevee could learn sand attack while playing in the sand, it has to be said that Eevee’s understanding was very good, but this might be also related to it focusing its full energy on the sandcastle, so that Eevee got the opportunity to understand sand attack move!

“Vee…”  After perceiving the sand attack move, Eevee was confused and at a loss. When Fang Yuan picked it up, it felt at ease.

Fang Yuan looked at the sand all over the ground with expectation.  Assuming that Eevee’s understanding of that sand attack was related to this little game, then could sand attack help Eevee stack up a more perfect sandcastle?

“It’s amazing that moves can be understood this way.”

Fang Yuan slowly put down Eevee and began a new round of work with it.

From previous experience, they knew that the details of a sandcastle lie in the mixing ratio between sand and water. Too little water won’t hold the sand together, and too much can’t hold the shape. The best proportion is 99% sand and 1% water, which can maintain the best stability of sandcastles, especially those tall and thin ones.  If they want to carve the details, this proportion was necessary. They were just guessing around before, but since Eevee realized the sand attack, it had a more obvious perception of the moisture content in the sand and easily found the best proportion.

Eevee’s claws were very flexible and sharp.  and they were far easier to use than tool knives. Not before long, they really rebuilt the sandcastle, which was comparable to that of the Sandshrew.

“Excellent, but there is still a defect”

Because they did not take into account the loss of water in the project, the sandcastle at this moment was not the most perfect. Fang Yuan and Eevee looked at each other, and immediately smiled, then started again using the sand attack style to build a sandcastle with joy.
