Afternoon.

Yu Meixia’s apartment.

It was snowing heavily, and the ground was covered in snow within half an hour.

“Qianqian, come over and drink your soup.”

“Mum, I just finished my lunch and am full.”

“Drink some and help me bring out the bowl and chopsticks.”

“Ok. Have a seat, Uncle Dong.”

“Sure. I can’t wait to drink the soup.”

Yu Meixia quickly took out a big bowl of pork ribs soup, and Yu Qianqian scooped a bowl for Dong Xuebing. Dong Xuebing took a few sips and started eating a piece of pork ribs.

Yu Meixia asked. “How is it?”

“It’s delicious.” Dong Xuebing praised. “Your cooking is the best.”

Yu Meixia smiled. “Have more. There’s more in the pot.”

Dong Xuebing replied. “You all should eat with me. Let’s eat before it turns cold.”

Sister Yu is good at cooking, especially soup. Dong Xuebing finished half the pot until he could not move. He let out a loud burp and sat on the sofa.

“Mum, I am going in to do my homework.”

“Ok. Go ahead.”

Yu Qianqian ran into her room.

Dong Xuebing looked at Yu Meixia and looked at the master bedroom.

Yu Meixia blushed and returned to her room first. Dong Xuebing quickly followed and closed the door. They had fun in the kitchen, but it was not enough for him. They lay on the bed, and Dong Xuebing took out a cigarette. She saw it and took out a lighter to light it.

Dong Xuebing asked. “Why are you carrying a lighter around?”

Yu Meixia replied shyly. “I… I know you are coming, so….”

Dong Xuebing was touched. “You are so good to me.”

“No…” Yu Meixia replied shyly. “Let me massage your shoulders.”

“No need. You must be tired after making lunch.” Dong Xuebing replied.

“I am fine. Just sit up. I will massage you for a while.” Yu Meixia sat behind Dong Xuebing’s back.

Dong Xuebing did not say anything and enjoyed her massage. It felt good, and he closed his eyes. Yu Meixia had learned a lot to serve him. She learned cooking, massage, and dance for him. 

“Is this strength good enough?”

“Yes. It is just nice.”

“Ok. Tell me if you feel uncomfortable.”

“Ok. Thank you.”

“Don’t mention it.”

After a while, Dong Xuebing’s hands started moving. He placed his hand on Sister Yu’s thighs and started to move. He grabbed her legs, removed her slippers, and started to caress her feet through her stockings. It was smooth and soft.

Yu Meixia moved her feet, but Dong Xuebing did not care. He continued to massage her feet.

One minute….

Five minutes….

Ten minutes….

Dong Xuebing felt the strength on his shoulders had gotten weaker and knew Sister Yu was tired. “You can stop now.”

“It’s only ten minutes.”

“It felt good. Come, I will massage you.”

Yu Meixia replied. “No need.”

“No. I must repay you for treating me well.”

“No need. I am fine.”

“I will give you a massage to make you feel better.”

“No, Xiao Bing. You are injured.”

“It’s nothing.”

Dong Xuebing ignored Yu Meixia and got behind her. He placed his hands on her shoulders and started his massage. After massaging her shoulders, he massaged her neck and waist.

“Enough, Xiao Bing. It’s enough.”

“Stop moving.”

Dong Xuebing massaged Yu Meixia for around twenty minutes.

Yu Meixia looked at Dong Xuebing and kept quiet.

Slowly, Dong Xuebing saw Yu Meixia relax and close her eyes.

“Sister Yu….”

“Sis……”

“……”

Yu Meixia was asleep and did not reply.

Dong Xuebing smiled and stopped his massage. He leaned forward and kissed her before covering her with the blanket. He did not leave or wake her up. He just lay beside her and hugged her.

After a while.

Yu Qianqian entered the room. “Mum, I finished my homework.”

Dong Xuebing placed his finger on his lips. “Your Mum is sleeping.”

Yu Qianqian blushed and nodded. “Then… Then…. I will go and watch TV.”

Dong Xuebing nodded and said softly. “Your Mum is tired. Let her sleep a while more.”

“I know. I… I will prepare dinner. I had learned a few dishes from Mum.”

“Haha…. Sure. Let’s have dinner later. You can start preparing around seven.”

An hour later.

Dong Xuebing’s arm was numb, but he did not want to wake Sister Yu. He adjusted his position and took out his phone from his pocket. He called Xie Huilan.

“What is it? I am busy.”

“I might not be coming home tonight.”

“Where are you?”

“Huh? I am at my Mum’s place.”

“Ok. I have to work late today. Then I don’t have to rush home.”

Dong Xuebing called Luan Xiaoping after hanging up.

“Hello, Mum.”

“What?”

“Err…. If Huilan calls, tell her I am at your place.”

“Where are you?”

“I am at my colleague’s place and will not be going home tonight.”

“A girl?”

“He is a guy!”

“Then why can’t you tell Huilan the truth? Stop creating trouble. I still have not scolded you for what happened yesterday. Tell me the truth. Where are you now?”

Dong Xuebing looked at Yu Meixia sleeping after hanging up.

8 pm.

Around five hours had passed.

Yu Meixia woke up and quickly looked around.

Dong Xuebing smiled. “You are awake.”

Yu Meixia quickly got up. “What time is it now?”

“8 pm. It’s time for dinner. We are going to try Qianqian’s cooking today.”

“It’s 8 pm?!” Yu Meixia was shocked. “You…. Why didn’t you wake me? Ah… how did I fall asleep? You… you were hugging me the whole time?”

Dong Xuebing nodded. “You were sleeping soundly, and I don’t want to wake you.”

Yu Meixia’s eyes turned red, and she massaged Dong Xuebing’s arms. “Sorry…. You… should rest a while and get home.”

“It’s fine.” Dong Xuebing smiled. “I told my wife that I am not going back tonight.”

“No. I am fine. You should go home and don’t let your wife worry.’

“I had told her. What’s wrong? You don’t want me to stay? Fine. I will go now.”

“No…. I am afraid your wife will find out. I….”

“Haha…. Let’s go and have dinner. We will rest early after dinner.”

Dong Xuebing got up and almost fell. His legs were numb from remaining still for five hours.

Yu Meixia quickly helped him.

Yu Qianqian was sweating as she placed the food on the dining table. She had spent the whole afternoon preparing dinner.

Dong Xuebing praised. “Look at Qianqian. She is a grown-up now.”

Yu Qianqian wiped her sweat and smiled. “Dinner is ready. Mum, Uncle Dong, try my cooking.”

Dong Xuebing picked up the chopsticks. The food does not smell as good as Sister Yu’s cooking, but he still praises Yu Qianqian. “Delicious. You can be a chef in the future. You are talented.”

Yu Qianqian smiled shyly. “No…”

Yu Meixia sat at the table and started eating. She took a few bites and saw Dong Xuebing looking at her. She gritted her teeth and held his arm before putting food into his bowl.

Yu Qianqian saw it and blushed.

Dong Xuebing cleared his throat. Qianqian knew about his relationship with her mother, but this was the first time they showed it to her.
