93 Settling Matters
For Rong Yue, the next few days were incredibly tight, the qualifying stage of exam was in one week and she and Wu Hao had only finished their final revision today.
“You are exhausted, are you sure you don’t want to get some rest after this?” Wu Hao asked as he packed his books into his bag.
“Once I go to the capital, I would be lying to myself if I say that I would come back home often, that would be too much and now is the only time I have to do this, besides, Song Jian is assisting,” she explained as she got up.
The both of them always met up at a library that was close to the heart of their city, like this, Rong Yue could have Lu San run things up until the time that she wanted to leave.
After some more words, Rong Yue and Wu Hao said their goodbyes and separated. Rong Yue got into the already waiting car that Lu San parked right in front of the library.
“Young Miss,” he greeted respectfully and Rong Yue rolled her eyes in sarcasm. She had always been someone that could get her way around things, with Lu San, even with their age gap and his capabilities, he was completely obedient to her on every matter other than this.
No matter what she said, he would not agree to call her anything other Young Miss, two weeks after, she had started to give up already.
“The men at the warehouse started work this morning while I already had someone drop mother so that she could confirm that the places for the planting were enough like you asked,” he reported and Rong Yue nodded her head in understanding.
“Let them follow any instructions she gives them, since there’s work going on in the warehouse now, we can have some professional give us the proper quotation for the equipments we would need. I would like to start work on their flagship store, after all, branding and creating awareness is everything,” she told him and Lu San nodded in agreement.
.....
Although she was barely eighteen, Rong Yue did business like a veteran and covered all the spots. Especially since he now knew that all the money she was using was all earned by her, Lu San had been completely bought over by her.
“I’ll take note, also, what’s important now is you finding a manager that can handle everything, Song Jian is doing okay, maybe even better than I expected but he would be going to college too and with their relationship, he would not be stern and firm enough when your mother and his siblings take over,” Lu San voiced out his worries.
“I almost forgot this important part, I would work on it this night or maybe outsource it to someone,”
This evening, she had something that was important and couldn’t be pushed back so she could only do that later on.
“Master already compiled a list of qualifying people, you can look at them later on and just pick one,” Lu San said, starting the car so that he didn’t have to hear her reply.
Rong Yue, however, had nothing she wanted to say, he had done this so many times already in the past week that she was already used to it.
It was easy to see that he was trying his best to make things easy for her, as for anything he was expecting, perhaps, they would handle it when she got to the capital.
However, if he had not done it, a list like that was going to be drawn up the little Loli.
“Change this car to a less conspicuous one, I’ll be back very quickly,” Rong Yue told him before getting down from the car. Since her mother was still at the warehouse, this was the best time to make a trip to the black market.
For someone that had a lot of plans, Rong Yue had decided that her first business was going to be in the jewelry line, however, a line like that was difficult to start as a nobody which meant that she had to take it step by step.
In the whole country, City A had a relatively good amount of pure stones that she could use to start from the scratch.
Her intention was to get some stones at a good price, sell some away and then gradually start scouting for a good way to start her own designs.
Out of all the types of jewelry, jade was the most accessible to her and the only one she could get with very little capital.
As soon as the company had taken off slightly and had a side dealing of providing stones, she could take her hands off and use the money on it to get better stones. All of these were however plans for the future while the most important one here was actually getting the stones.
Rong Yue went upstairs and changed her disguise into that of a woman that was around the age of twenty five. In all of her previous appearance, the only thing that was still recognizable were those sharp eyes and it would be hard to make a connection with how she was dressed.
With red heels as added height and a hair wig that had bangs and was brown, Rong Yue looked nothing like her normal self and she proved this when she got downstairs and knocked on the car that Lu San was already sitting in.
“How may I help you miss?” He asked politely as he rolled down the window.
Rong Yue looked at his tense shoulders and how he was watching her every move and chuckled.
“Hmmm, I needed to confirm if my disguise was good enough,” she said as she sashayed to the other side of the car and got inside.
With that familiar playful voice, Lu San could guess who the playful voice belonged to, yet he didn’t want to believe that the eighteen year old that he had been following around for close to two months now was the woman that was currently in his car.
“We are going to the black market, in case I make any mistake, I wouldn’t want to be traced back to my family or anything, the best would be to change my appearance.” Rong Yue explained and then threw him a mask.
“You would use that when we get there, you also can’t be traced,”
