Chapter 175: Negotiation

Qin Yichen sneered at his words. He had spent so much time and effort convincing his little girl and slipping into her heart.

Even though he still had to wait a while for anything to happen between them, he didn't especially mind as long as they kept each other company.

Now that his younger brother was acting as the stumbling block, he felt displeased. He would have sent him back to the Main House if it were in any other situation.

Since he and his brother handled living with their mother, nothing should stop this one too!

However, he really needed this brother at this moment!

"When we return, I'll ask Mo Fan to send you back. Xiao Yue would also find a place to live in and soon forget about you,"

He said it calmly, not sounding like a threat, but when Qin Heng heard him, he felt his heart thump in his chest.

For a child like him, he definitely didn't have romantic feelings for Rong Yue and didn't even understand such things.

But he liked the way he felt around her and the type of way she treated him. Without knowing, him that didn't like others treating him like a child enjoyed the way Rong Yue treated him like a treasure that she just discovered.

Also, he had only been joking about going back to the Main House! The moment he went back, his mother would have the servants dress him up like a little princess so she could pretend she had a little girl like she wanted.

He pursed his lips as he glared at his brother, not knowing what to say next. He didn't want to accept, but at the same time, he didn't want to refute and show his weakness!

Qin Yichen smiled upon seeing his expression and added,

"Be good and help me win her over. If I get married to her, she will be your sister, and you will be able to see her anytime you want," he told him while glancing at him from his side eyes.

Qin Heng said nothing in reply, and the office descended into silence.

About half an hour later, Qin Yichen picked up a call from Rong Yue, telling him that she was already downstairs.

His smile curled up at the thought that she would see his workspace.

The inside was even more luxurious, and the ceilings were raised very high, making anyone inside it to feel like they were just little beings.

When they entered, as the President's secretary, so many people respected Secretary Cai and had seen him go out earlier.

Seeing a dazzling beauty beside him, the staff on the first floor couldn't help but gossip.

"Is that Secretary Cai's girlfriend? She's very young and pretty," someone asked, her voice hushed but not low enough.

"It's impossible that he would bring his girlfriend to the office. Other than Secretary Cai, no one else has the permission to go up there without the President's permission," someone else replied; this person was more daring, as though instigating the group of people.

Even if it were top bosses, Secretary had never come down to escort them up, it was indeed a rare thing to see, and all of them couldn't help but gossip.

Secretary Cai and Rong Yue acted like they didn't hear anything, both entering the elevator.

As soon as they disappeared from view, the first floor became a mess of voices.

"That girl has to be the most beautiful person I have ever seen!" Someone exclaimed, unable to hold back anymore.

Although the ladies agreed, they also couldn't help but get jealous.

"I think she's still quite young; she looks about sixteen years old. Surely, she can't be the girlfriend of any one of them," one of the girls said.

Qin Yichen was about twenty-five years old, and Secretary Cai was even older than that. They felt that Rong Yue was too old for both of them.

"I think it's just because her skin is good. Her aura doesn't seem like that of a sixteen years old. She might be an adult already," one male staff argued.

As a man, he was able to sense these things better. From the air around her and Rong Yue's curves, he felt she couldn't be that young.

They all discussed, occupying themselves with gossip until one of the managers came downstairs.

"What are the group of you doing around here?"

With one sentence, all of them rushed back to their seats, afraid they would be in trouble if they stayed any longer.
