Sounds of blades can be heard from the forest as Dave and the Shadow demon are exchanging blows. They are fighting for almost 4 hours and Dave decided to take his time as it was rare for him to enhance his assassination skills. He is not an experienced assassin so he was using this demon to practice.

He read many novels where the mc is an assassin and for him, Assassin is the coolest job as they are fast and badass. He remembers some novels he read from his previous life where the MC is an assassin but the one he liked the most is "Otherworldly Evil Monarch".

The demon tried to use Illusion on Dave, but it was no use as he was immune to it. Dave was amazed by his endurance as he was still faster than ever and he can feel that this demon is not still using his full strength.

The demon was laughing madly as he was sealed here for so long and he missed fighting badly. It was the reason why he was not using his full strength as he wanted to make the fight long.

Dave smirked and replied with disdain, "Heh, same here, no one can par against me with the same level so if our strength is the same, you would already have a hole in your neck"

The demon smiled and replied, "You are arrogant, if you are in the demon realm, you can be the general of one of the demon lords of Pride keke."

Dave sneered and replied, "Why would you compare me to you weak demons? I will someday even make the demon and gods kneel for me hehe"

The demon was stunned by his reply and said, "Kuku, you never knew the powers of Demons and Gods, even an ordinary soldier can kill you in seconds, much less the higher ranking than them."

Dave knew it but he was confident in his progress, so he ignored his words as he continued to fight with this demon. He tried to get some knowledge from the demon but when the demon said that some of his memories are sealed and the only thing he remembers is some simple knowledge from the demon realm and that he always calls himself a king.

He even forgot his name as the tower sealed most of his memories, but his fighting experience is still on him.

They continue to fight, and Dave observes his every move as he is amazed at how smooth and deadly the demon's move was. He now felt that his assassination skills are like a toddler in front of this demon.

Dave looked at the demon who is now panting due to tiredness. They fought for 5 days, and Dave now learned many assassinations moves from the demon and he was surprised that his skill <Assassination Lord> leveled up to level 20. He now realized that he could upgrade his skills without using sin points, but it would take a long time. He got a new skill from it, and it was <Shadow Bind> where he can cast to bind his target for 5 seconds.

It was like a skill from Naruto, and it was useful when sneaking an attack on his enemies. The system said that he cannot upgrade his <Assassination Lord> for now as the requirements are question marks. Dave guessed that he must surpass Immortal first to upgrade it.

The demon was stunned because Dave is getting stronger the longer they fight so he tried to get serious even though the tower sealed most of his skills and powers but Dave can still adapt to it and he even copied his movements. He was now panting and full of sweat as he didn't now have much energy in his body. As a demon who experienced many hardships and near-death experiences, he will not be easily defeated so he can still last until today because of it. He met many geniuses from many places, but he never saw someone like Dave who looks like never gets tired as if he had infinite mana and energy.

Dave felt that he didn't have any use so it's time to kill him. "Don't worry, we will meet again later but I will give you an easy death hehe"

The demon was confused but before he reacted, he immediately turned into an ice statue as Dave froze him with his ice magic. Dave smiled as he heard a notification in his head.
