Chapter 497 Chapter 497-Xegron's power
?Chapter 497-Xegron's power
Dave smiled, and Xegron nodded like a child before Dave told him to sit and tell him what happened to him.
Xegron calmed down before he made his body smaller and didn't dare to sit near him; he only stood up as he felt that he was not worthy of sitting near his master.
But Dave insisted, so he didn't have a choice but to follow.
Xegron told him his story, and Dave was amazed. His knowledge increased as he learned some new things from Xegron.
He learned that Xegron received a calling from a mysterious world called the Xerg Plane.
It is composed of many insect races, and the highest form of insect race was the ruler of that place, the Zerg Race.
The Zerg race feasted on any living beings, even demons or gods, and their vitality was more tenacious than demons.
They were good at using spiritual attacks better than demons. While they seemed to be strong, their weakness was their weak intelligence, and they only followed their Queen who ruled them.
They were well-behaved, and unlike other races, they only followed a sole ruler, which is why they were feared by other races and even the Gods for their unity.
The Zerg race was banished by the Supreme Will because they even tried to devour everything when they were at their peak of power.
The Supreme Will forcefully removed the Zerg Plane from the Celestial Plane.
The Zerg race has long been forgotten by other races, but demons and gods still knew about their existence.
After some years, they managed to find a space hole and send some of their men to devour any living beings they found for the food of their queen.
Xegron, who was summoned because he had the insect bloodline in him, learned these things from the soldiers he devoured when he entered that place.
He managed to enter the Zerg Plane and was treated like a God because of his features by low-intelligence beings.
Even Xegron was confused about why they worshipped him, but he used the chance to collect information and learned that he resembled the Zerg King, who was on par with the Zerg Queen but died at the hands of a strong demon.
They believed that he was the reincarnation of him, so they gathered a lot of insects, descendants of the Zerg King, and started to worship him, hidden from the eyes of the queen.
These insects had waited for his reincarnation for billions of years.
Xegron was excited, and his fighting aura emitted from his body.

Metal Empire...
An imposing tall man sat on the throne, looking down on the three figures kneeling in front of him. The man, 6 meters tall, was muscular, sturdy, and full of power.
He had short brown hair with a long beard and mustache that gave him a barbarian appearance. He was the Metal Emperor, ruler of the Metal Empire.
"Emperor, the Lightning Empire still refuses to follow your will and continues to resist. Should we lead our troops to attack them? I believe we can raze them to the ground," one of the kneeling figures bowed and stated.
The Metal Emperor looked at him and replied, "Muller is on his deathbed, and I believe he should be dead within this week.
Just wait for his death. Even though I am confident in our victory, we will still suffer losses once they activate their formation.
I don't want to suffer huge losses when we can win easily if we just wait."
The Metal Emperor was a cunning ruler, and he would not make decisions without careful consideration, despite his appearance suggesting otherwise.
The three nodded, and one of them reported, "Emperor, the prince is on his way to harass the Lightning Empire again. Should we send more support?"
The Metal Emperor shook his head confidently.
"Don't worry about him. The Lightning Empire won't dare to harm my son, or else they might meet their end sooner. They are likely buying time, not wanting to provoke me. I know my son's attitude, and he is obsessed with Muller's daughter."
The Metal Emperor was confident that his son would be safe, so he let him do as he pleased, even sending one of his trusted subordinates to protect him.
"You may now leave," he instructed.
The three figures nodded and bowed, disappearing from the place without a trace.
After they left, a demon appeared in front of him, and the imposing Metal Emperor lowered his head as if he were a slave before the demon.
"Lord!"
The Metal Emperor didn't dare to look at the demon, who appeared only in phantom form.
"You have only a month to conquer the Lightning Empire. I need more blood and souls," the phantom said, his voice terrifying in the Metal Emperor's ears, as if he might die just from hearing it.
"Yes, my lord. Don't worry, I will accomplish the mission you gave me," the Metal Emperor replied, nodding.
The phantom looked at him with disdain and said, "If you accomplish the mission, then I will now give you what I promised you."
