Chapter 522-Faced off against a demon lord

Chapter 522

Through the eyes of the Chaos God, he easily gathered a lot of information about the demon lord in front of him.

He couldn't collect much useful information because he realized that the demon lord had a strong soul.

He was amazed to learn that the demon lord in front of him was once a human before accepting the power of demons.

Though he didn't feel much hatred toward him for betraying the human race, as everyone has their own goals in life, he still looked down on someone who could kill their family members and those who cared for him in exchange for power.

"Mind if I sit?"

Dave smiled and, without waiting for approval, immediately sat near Irethane.

He observed Irethane with shining eyes as if looking at a rare material and couldn't help but nod in approval because, even though Irethane had become a demon, he still maintained his good looks.

"Your looks are only below mine by about 200 times,"

Dave said with a smile. He noticed Irethane looking at him with amusement, not offended by his words.

Irethane felt he had the right to make such a statement. He might feel inferior in looks, but he believed he was stronger in power.

"Oh, you're confident for a mere human. You seem young and don't belong to the ancient humans, do you?"

Irethane couldn't see Dave's cultivation level and thought he might have a treasure to hide it or be in the same realm or higher.

But the probability of the latter was low because ancient humans couldn't interfere with the matters of the current human race.

Dave smiled and replied, "Ancient humans, huh? That sounds powerful."

He was amused, knowing about ancient humans from Gabriella before.

Ancient humans were the oldest species of humans, and humans were said to be a fearsome race in the past.

When humans were oppressed due to their unlimited potential granted by the heavens, demons and other races sent their powerhouses to hunt ancient humans to maintain the balance of the universe.

With their infinite potential, humans had a chance to become a top race in the future.

Dave had appeared without his subordinates noticing, even though they were Archdemons.

Dave smiled and said, "You can call me Dave. Hehe, as for my reason for coming here, it was just to test how strong a demon lord is, but it looks disappointing."

"Looks like I overestimated you."

Dave shook his head, and Irethane suddenly felt anger at being looked down upon.

His wrath energy erupted and rushed towards Dave.

Dave smiled and let the energies enter his body, seemingly unaffected.

The energies floated around him as if they recognized him as their source.

"Hmm," Dave mused.

Irethane was amazed and realized that his sin energy was useless against Dave, who could even manipulate the energy he released.

"Are you also a demon lord? How can you control this energy?"

He was shocked because the man in front of him appeared human, but the way he controlled the sin energy was even more advanced than Irethane's.

He speculated that Dave might also be a demon lord of wrath, possibly of a higher rank.

"Are you Enragerix, the first seat and called the Enraged Monarch?"

Demon Lord Irethane's mind was racing as he connected everything.

"So that's how it is," he muttered, now confident in his speculation and understanding why he had failed to notice Dave's strength.

Of all the demon lords under the Demon King Satan, only the first seat, the ranked 1 demon Enragerix, was the one Irethane had never seen since becoming a demon lord.

He had heard legends of Enragerix in the Abyss, knowing his power was enough to suppress even if all the remaining demon lords of wrath teamed up against him.

That's why he was wary of Dave in front of him, suspecting he was merely disguised as a human.

"Why does Your Excellency appear here? Does the King have a message?"

Even though Dave looked at him with a stunned expression, Irethane sighed in relief, thinking Dave was shocked by how easily he discovered his identity.

Proud of his deduction, Irethane changed the topic and became a bit more respectful.
