Bing'er hurriedly helped him up, "Grandma Lu, please don't be like this. It's not certain that we can even help Lu Zhao right now."
Grandma Lu looked gratefully at Bing'er and Zhining, "Even if Lu Zhao really gets killed, I'll still be grateful to you guys because you're the only ones in the entire capital who believes that Lu Zhao is innocent and the only one who's willing to help him find the killer."
"Grandma Lu, please sit." Bing'er helped Grandma Lu to sit on the chair, while she herself sat on the chair, "Zhining, what do you know?" Bing'er looked at Zhining and asked.
"I only know that on the night of the young maid's death, Lu Zhao stayed at home and took care of Grandma Lu who was sick." Zhining replied to Bing'er.
"Grandma Lu, other than you, is there anyone else who saw or knew that Lu Zhao was at home all night?" Although she knew the answer, she still wanted to ask it again.
Grandma Lu shook her head, "No, our place is a little remote. Usually, there aren't many people here, and the people in the dark night are even fewer. Moreover, Lu Zhao stayed in his room all night and didn't even leave his room."
"I've already been to Grandma Lu's house, and there's no strong evidence that Lu Zhao stayed there all night." Zhining took over from Grandma Lu's words.
Bing'er lowered her head and thought for a while. Then, she stood up from her chair, instructing Zhining and Grandma Lu, "You two wait here for my news. I'll go out for a while."
"It's already dark. Where are you going?" ZhiNing looked at Bing'er worriedly.
"To the Prime Minister's Estate." Bing-Er answered without turning her head.
Right now, they didn't have any evidence in their hands that could prove that Lu Zhao was innocent. They could only go to the scene of the murder and investigate it carefully. Perhaps, they might be able to find some clues.
After Bing'er had left, ZhiNing stood up from her chair, "Grandma Lu, you can stay here and wait for Bing'er to come back. I'll be right back."
When Bing'er reached the door of the residence, she was troubled by a problem. The entrance of the residence was heavily guarded, and not even a fly could fly in. How could she enter the residence?
She had thought that she would sneak into the residence when the guards changed their positions, but she had made a mistake. Even when the guards changed positions, there would still be people standing guard at the entrance. She had no chance at all to sneak into the residence.
She walked a full circle along the tall, thick wall, trying to find the legendary dog hole to enter the house. As a result, there was no dog hole to drill through the massive wall.
As the sky darkened, Bing-Er was worried. The only way to get into the House of Prime was through the gate. She hid in the dark and stared fixedly at the door of the mansion. She would sneak into the mansion whenever she had the chance, but when the sky turned completely dark and the moon hung high in the trees, she still couldn't find a suitable opportunity to sneak into the mansion.
In desperation, Bing'er decided to go back to the Sky No. 1 Bureau to discuss this with Zhining before making her decision. Just as she turned around, her eyes instantly lit up. She saw a man in bright clothes slowly walking over to the Prime Minister's Estate from a short distance away. Bing-Er saw the man walk into the House of General, so she came up with a plan. With an evil grin, she placed her right hand on her waist and touched the dagger that she had always kept at her waist. Looking at the tall man in front of her, her pretty mouth slightly raised. "You're out of luck."
Bing-Er tidied up her clothes and came out of the dark hurriedly. She walked over to the well-dressed man.
The man was walking forward and didn't seem to notice Bing'er.
Bing-Er passed by the man casually. When he walked to the door of the house, Bing-Er passed by him, and Bing-Er passed by him, Bing-Er quickly took out the dagger from her waist, pressed it against his waist, and said in a voice that only two people could hear, "Don't move, if you move, I will kill you."
The man stopped walking and turned his head to look at Bing-Er fearfully, "My good man, I have no enmity with you. Why are you treating me like this?"
"Cut the crap. I'll ask one question, you answer one question. If you answer the wrong question, I'll kill you. Daggers don't have eyes." Bing-Er threatened the man.
"Spare my life, good man. As long as I know, I will definitely report this as a truth. I hope the good man can show mercy." The man's voice quivered, and his tall body trembled.
