Chapter 164 - The Only person who can make me feel this way

Lyn didn't think Kazuya would take her away, so he could kiss her a lot. For somebody who supposedly doesn't have experience with girls, Kazuya knows how to kiss. Or maybe it's just because she has no experience, that she thinks Kazuya is experienced at kissing. After a few minutes, Kazuya drew back from her. Sweat covered his face as he ran his hand through his hair.

'Oh gosh,' Lyn muttered in her head. Kazuya looked different; there's something odd about his appearance. Something alluring? Is that the right word? Is it because they kissed a lot? Lyn only saw a few couples before she entered a relationship before. All those couples however acted completely different. If people looked at her love story with Kazuya, they would say their relationship is relatively innocent. That may be why so many people keep on underestimating them. Little do they know, what sorts of things Kazuya has in mind.

"Are you okay?" Kazuya gently brushed his hand across her cheek, "My Lyn?"

"I'm okay," Lyn replied shyly, "But I want to hide, I feel a bit embarrassed." She's only a sixteen-year-old girl. She went from barely seeing people to entering a relationship? "Things like kissing, I'm not good. I don't know what to do."

Kazuya skilled, "Mmm, me too."

That's such a lie! Why is he so good at it? Lyn stared at him, "Did you kiss her before? The Sound Kingdom Princess."

"Heck no."

Lyn blinked at his abrupt reply. He seemed disgusted by the idea, "Isn't she a beauty, though? A kind person too."

"I do admit that the Princess is kind, and yes, she's pretty. But I don't need a girl like that."

"So I'm mean and ugly?"

Kazuya sighed, "Lyn," he spoke, "Do you have any idea how much you mean to me? It seems like you don't."

Lyn shook her head, "No, I think I get it now," Kazuya has proved to her already how much he loves her. She would be a fool to think that there was something actually going on between him and that Princess. "But, don't lie to me anymore, okay? If you're going to meet with her, tell me first."

"I won't lie to you. I'm sorry, I didn't know what to do about it. She suddenly came here," Kazuya shook his head, "I guess what Lethia said got to me too, I won't do it again. I'll meet with the Princess one last time and tell her we have to cancel it."

"Kazuya, um Allen, and me.."

"Don't worry; I won't ask you to end your engagement with him. Your situation is a lot more complicated than mine. But is there anything else you want to talk about with me?"

"Rhys kissed me a lot," Lyn admitted. She doesn't want to ruin the moment. But the entire time she felt bad about it.

"He told me already. And although I'm not really fine with it. I'm the one who drove you to such measures, so it's my fault. Forget about it now though okay?"

Forget it? That's a bit too much to ask for.

"Also um, this is a little embarrassing. Um.. ."

"What just say it?"

"I want you to say 'I love you' while you hold me tight," at that comment immediately looked down at her feet. She didn't know how Kazuya would react after all. What if he scolds her for acting too clingy? What if she creeped him out?

"Okay, I'll do just that. I love you.'

Lyn didn't have time to react when his lips were on hers in seconds. He really is too sly, but she loves him so much.

It doesn't matter if she's feeling despair from the pitch-black darkness in front of her. Or if she's feeling dizzy from all of this happiness.

Kazuya is the only person who can make her feel this way.

....

Surri Town -West -

When it came to stuff that people rarely believe in, Lyn easily believed in them. However, they're also individuals who hold a belief in strange matters that she didn't see the significance in. Like the imprint that was still clearly in the palm of her hand. She had heard many tales on the matter. On which each color meant, but out of all those colors, she instantly realized that she had quite an unusual one.

The medics had made a big deal out of it upon discovering she and Allen had the same one. Yet when they both noticed it themselves, their reaction was pretty much,' Oh it's the same' - then the conversation ended like that. He hadn't been the kind of person who focused on such matters, nor did she. But perhaps there was already a silent agreement between them, that even if they didn't have the same that it wouldn't have mattered.

People always tend to believe in matters that connect them to another individual. In the end, isn't that because 'Humans crave for love and attention?'. It was one of the few things she had learned from Kazuya. How right that statement was.

"Princess Lyn! Please hurry were already late enough as it is."

Her thoughts broke off upon hearing the frantic voice of her female bodyguard. Pupillam, a girl with dark auburn colored hair tied to the side in a bun. 'Pupillam, so she came here too,' Lyn thought as much. How many people did her brother send over? According to her, however, she was simply here to escort Princess Shaarya back.

'But you're my aide,' Lyn wanted to argue. However, she kept it to herself; this isn't the first time something that was supposed to be for her is shared with another person. Lyn shook her head if she puts it that way it sounds like Pupillam is an object. Pupillam nor the General have any obligation to remain loyal to her. They are only by her side because of her Mother's orders.

"Right, right," Lyn said, as she rushed up the grey stone steps. Gee why on earth is the banquet in such a high place? Truthfully speaking she wasn't exactly comfortable with heights. But Lyn felt that saying that upon meeting with her female guard the first time in a while would not be good.

Alright, it should be okay if she doesn't look to the side at all. Just keep looking straight ahead and eventually. Yet running in a dress isn't exactly ideal. Lyn always found running when wearing a dress difficult because she has to wear heels or some form of footwear that showed her feet. Unlike when she's wearing her uniform, even with that long skirt, the shoes she wears can be anything. It doesn't have to be too fancy. She lets out a small sigh; it can't be helped, huh? This is what she chose to do.

Either way, right now Pupillam has it easier than her, if they permitted her to wear casual wear too then, she would have chosen that over what she was wearing now. She asked about it, but as expected they brushed off the request rather quickly.

Allen aside, Rhys would have probably said something along the lines of wanting to see her in a dress. No, not because of the formalities of a lady, it would most likely be the other reason.

Well, even though it was quite bothersome at times. Lyn had to admit she didn't mind it; after all, it made the atmosphere lighter. All those people's gazes are dark, and their smiles and laughter all gave her a bad feeling. She would rather get constantly sent on jobs rather than be stuck studying pointless things. It's suffocating.

"Princess Lyn watch your step there's---"

But unfortunately, Lyn only heard half the warning and almost fell backward. However, after a few moments had passed, she didn't hear the impact at all. Lyn opened her eyes only to be met with ruby red-colored eyes and white hair, "Kyouya!"

This was one of Shaarya's guards, Kyouya. It seems like he came here to fetch Shaarya too.

"I'm glad to see you aren't harmed, Princess Lyn."

He lets her go, and turned to Pupillam who just ran back down, "Kyouya thank goodness you caught her."

"There's a safer route than this passage."

"Eh, there is?"

"At the brand new park. It's indeed quite a detour, but it's the path that's being used a lot since its safe. Did you not see the sign?" Kyouya explained.

As she watched the two interact, she couldn't help but smile. In a sense, it seems like they're getting along better than they were before. Rather before it seemed like Pupillam wasn't fond of Kyouya and Kyoua being clueless on the matter, appeared to push the girl's buttons even more.

So much time has passed since they last saw each other. Lyn was curious when Either way a sign....? Lyn closed her eyes, on the way here she saw something that could have resembled a sign. Yet the fact that it was torn down and battered on the ground made her think that it was a mere scrap of paper. It was deliberately destroyed, huh?
