When Lyn woke up, she found herself in an unfamiliar room. Stone cold walls, a small window - no doubt she had been kidnapped. Her hands were tied too, and her mouth there is cloth around it. The fact that they didn't restrict her eyes is already surprising enough. A deep sigh escaped her lips. Rhys is so stupid, making her walk up to these people herself. She recalled the sensation of Kazuya's lips when she had stood up to leave. It's almost as though he knew what she was trying to do. Of course, he already knew.
If Kazuya wasn't so weak, there is no doubt he would have stopped her. But with his current condition, forget stopping her, even kissing her seemed difficult. Kazuya said he agreed to hand her over. However, Lyn knew he was only going along with it for disguise. So, the fact that she marched up to them herself..
"You idiots! What were you thinking?!!" A familiar voice boomed outside her door.
"Boss, sorry, but uh, she was injured .."
"Yeah, Boss, if we left her there, she would have been prey to those people."
"She's hurt? Why didn't you say so sooner," the doors slammed open then. Lyn's eyes widened when she saw the person standing in front of her. She thought she was just hallucinating earlier. But..it's really him.
He strolled over and bent down, "Wait, let me remove your ropes."
Lyn managed to nod her head.
The second she broke free from the ropes, and Zepher got rid of the tape on her mouth. She wrapped her arms around his neck and started to bawl like a child. "Brother, brother... "
A deep sigh passed his lips, "You haven't changed at all, have you? You still cry a lot. I guess that's like you, though. Hey, it's fine. Sorry, did they hurt you? What were they thinking when you're already in pain."
"Brother..."
"You don't have to be afraid Lyn."
She isn't afraid. She just missed him so much. When she woke up after that time, all of a sudden, people were rushing back and forth. 'Prince Zepher is a traitor, he massacred an entire village..and hurt the elite guards.' Lyn couldn't believe it. Why would she believe it? Unlike everybody else, Lyn knew how gentle and kind her brother was.
She demanded answers from her eldest brother. However, his gaze was cold, and he would always be in a bad mood whenever she mentioned him. Everybody else was sworn to secrecy too. Nobody would tell her anything.
"But, huh. You really fought?" Zepher asked his lips curve to a smile.
"Oh, um, yes, I used your weapon, brother."
Zepher laughed, "You're still using that old thing? Throw it away. I'll make you something different."
Lyn shook her head, "I want to keep it. The first weapon brother made."
"I see. Lyn, you got poisoned, right?"
"Ah-huh."
"The antidote you received was only temporary. I've already asked my subordinates to fetch you the real one. So hold on a bit."
"Okay," Lyn didn't know what else to say. She was feeling a bit overwhelmed, seeing him. So, instead, she just looked at him for a bit. Brother has changed a lot. But, she can still see some of his old features.
"Zepher today's met--"
"...Who is that?"
"My wife."
"I see, then.."
Wife ..? But the two of them are...' you aren't blood-related.' Kazuya's words echoed in her head. Even if she wants to treat Zepher as her brother. Does Zepher feel the same?
"Just now, um... Did you have to go somewhere?" Lyn asked. That lady mentioned something about a woman waiting for brother?
Zepher's gaze dimmed. "It's nothing," he scooped her up in his arms and laid her down on the bed. "Lyn, get some rest."
"Zepher, we haven't met in so long..um I want to talk so...."
However, Zepher pulled the blanket around her. "Get some sleep, Lyn; we can talk about things when you wake up."
...
Lyn woke up to yet another unfamiliar room. She was no longer in the same stone-cold place like before. The place seemed a lot grander. Is this brother's room? She placed her hand on her forehead. The headache and dizziness from the previous day had vanished. Even her wounds were better.
"Your up?" a familiar voice woke up from her senses. It was Zepher; he just entered the room with a tray.
"Brother, good morning?"
Zepher laughed. "It's lunchtime sleeping beauty. You slept a lot."
"Ah-huh."
"Eat up; we can go on a walk after this. I'll show you around."
"Say Zepher..um..." Lyn didn't know how to bring it up. But she wanted to make sure.
"What?"
"I was thinking when will you send me back home?"
"Home?"
Lyn nodded.
"Not anytime soon. The waves are too dangerous right now."
Oh...
"Are you bored here?"
"No, I was just a bit...lonely."
"I'm here, aren't I? Haven't you missed me."
"I have."

"You still haven't found Lyn?!! Find her! Find her at all costs!" Andrew exclaimed.
"Andrew..." Gabrielle mumbled. "Could it be..."
Andrew's gaze darkened. That man..damn it. "Where's Kazuya?" he demanded.
"He went after them, sir."
Tsk and Rhys got critically hurt when he confronted Zepher. At least that's what he claims. Andrew hadn't seen the man's injuries. Kazuya was poisoned severely. How could that idiot go after them?
So much for making use of them. "Send men after Kazuya, make sure he has troops," Andrew ordered.
Kazuya should be able to find Lyn, shouldn't he? Still, with each second passing by. Andrew grew more and more anxious. Only a day has passed, but Andrew felt incredibly uneasy. What does Zepher want with Lyn?
One of the main reasons why he was always against the man was because of Lyn. Zepher, the way he looked at Lyn, was different. He looked at her with eyes that are about to devour his prey. It was abnormal. Blood-related or not, he shouldn't look at her like that.
That's what upset him about the man. From the start, Andrew knew his identity; that's why he kept those two away from each other.

XX Island - Town -
"Say, brother, why did you call me your wife?"
"If I said you're my sister, they'd kill you. Do you want that to happen?"
Oh, so these people loyal to brother are dangerous men. People, who dislike nobility?
"Besides Lyn, why are you still calling me, brother? Don't you know we're not related?"
"I know," Lyn mumbled. But she still found it hard to believe. "Um Ze--Zepher...."
Zepher smiles, "That's better."
He's a bit strange now. But maybe because she hasn't seen him in such a long time. Zephet pulled her into his arms, "Lyn, Lyn. Lyn..."
"What's wrong?"
"I haven't seen you in so long; I'm glad to see you again."
Yesterday he didn't talk much. So Lyn thought that he didn't want to see her again. She thought he got in his way. But, it turns out that he's missed her too?
...
Everybody on this island seems to respect him. But, she wonders why. Why do some people look like they are afraid of him?
"Lyn, pick out a few things."
"Eh?'
"For your room."
Oh, right. So that place she stayed in yesterday won't be the place she will stay in? Almost as though Zepher read her thoughts, he suddenly said. "Damn those guys. I didn't think they'd bring you here so suddenly. Sorry about yesterday. They weren't sure who you were to me, that's why they treated you like that."
"Oh, it's okay."
They weren't that bad. For kidnappers, she expected them to well be more threatening; instead, they seemed to be confused.
'Boss wants her, right?'
'Idiot, are you sure you have the right girl?'
By Boss, they mean Zepher, she looked over at her brother. Amazingly, he's achieved so much in the short time they've been apart from each other. "Lyn," Zepher called out.
Lyn turned around, and he wrapped a beautiful cloak around her shoulders. "Yeah, this would look great on you. I'll take this," he said to the shopkeeper.
"Brother, um, I already have a new cloak."
"Yeah, sorry to say that thing got thrown away. It was in a terrible state."
The gift Rhys gave her...
"Is something wrong?"
Lyn shook her head, " It's nothing."
"Don't hold back; you can get anything."
She looked awkwardly around. She isn't in the mood to shop. Ah, maybe, "Brother, this would look nice on you," she pointed to one of the outfits that caught her eye.
"I see, then I will get it."
He agreed just like that?
