Allen is a gentleman who would never hurt her, due to their age differences and his traditional views. She knew even if he had feelings for her, he wouldn't do anything. Allen seldom held her hand, most of the time he held her wrist. So Lyn already understood that this man wouldn't try anything.
Kazuya was the same too. If Rhys knew that Kazuya never did anything with her, how would he react? Kazuya had his chance to do something but he stopped it. Even now Lyn could remember his lips that brushed against hers and the sensation of his skin. But, 'ssh, go to sleep Lyn.' Lyn wondered this entire time why Kazuya stopped. Why didn't he go any further?
Is it because she isn't pretty enough? Such strange thoughts entered her mind. It was stupid to think that way and she knew that. But other than that reason, Lyn didn't know why Kazuya didn't touch her.
He pressed his lips to hers and pried her mouth open. He shot his tongue inside and she sighed into his mouth. His hand trailed against her back.
Lately, something seems strange. She tastes a flavour that isn't him. 'Maybe it's that female friend he mentioned before.' Hearing a grunt Lyn turned her attention back to Rhys. Maybe he is getting tired of this? He always did all the work. Let's face it, she doesn't know anything about kissing, let alone how to please a man. A man who gives her this much attention.
No matter how confident she acts. Rhys tears down her mask so easily, he renders her speechless every time.
Kissing isn't bad.
She quite liked it and Rhys seems to like it too. He does it a lot more these days, he just kisses her and doesn't do any other weird things. Lyn broke their lips apart briefly. "Do you want a pillow? It will be more comfortable if you rest your head on something.."
She could never tell what he was thinking whenever they got like this.
He didn't answer her and instead changed their positions so she was on top. He grabbed her waist and lowered her. "Just so you know, if it were the Sound Kingdom. It would be legal of me to touch you."
Lyn blinked. 'I wondered why he was silent this entire time.'
"The Sound Kingdom isn't strict with such things it seems?" Lyn asked.
She knew he wouldn't do anything else to her now.
"Well, there aren't a lot of us anymore. Naturally the best thing to do is find a partner early, get married and have children."
"I see."
"You know no matter how many times I do this to you, you don't leave."
"I've learned that the best way to appease you is to go with the flow."
His eyes twitched in annoyance. "So was that kiss earlier because.."
Lyn nodded. "Your scary when your angry."
"Damn."
"But honestly Rhys." Lyn mumbled. "I don't want you doing anything about King John. You heard what Kazuya said right? That man is dangerous."
She never thought that it was that bad. Sure he gave her quite the scare several years ago. But Lyn didn't think much of it until recently. That man visits the Kingdom so frequently, and he always asked for her. It was a good thing Kazuya and Rhys came here. Otherwise she knew she would have to play host for King John.
Rhys clearly didn't like what she was saying, but Lyn traced his lips with her fingers. "Please listen to me."
A content sigh passed his lips. "Well, I guess I can this time around." He nodded. "But if that man does anything drastic and you get hurt. I will hunt him down."
"Very well."
She wants to ask him about that particular scent when they kissed. But it would be wrong of her to pry too much. The relationship they have with one another right now is too vague.
She plays with his hair. "Kazuya keeps meeting me these days. Does that bother you?"
Lyn wanted to know what his thoughts were. He seemed to be quite bothered by Allen recently, and even warned her not to be alone with him.
"Hm? If it's Kazuya, it's fine."
Kazuya said that too.
Is it because they are friends? She doesn't know how to deal with people like this.
"Lyn, do something."
Do something?
His lips curve to a smile. "You should know what to do."
Lyn hesitated before she bent down and pressed her lips on his collarbone. Her fingers traced his chest. 'This person, I wonder if he wants anything more from me.' Earlier he mentioned that thing about the Sound Kingdom rules. But Rhys has never overstepped his boundaries with her.
She is seventeen years old now. If it were anyone else, they would have done something. But Rhys doesn't over do it and says he would wait until she is eighteen. That should flatter her but it bothers her a bit. If even Rhys can hold back like this, then no wonder Kazuya didn't do it.
Is she not pretty enough? Lyn never thought such a crazy thing would cross her mind. However being in this ambgious relationship with Rhys makes her curious.
Lyn lifted her head when she felt his piercing gaze. "What's wrong?"
"Lyn." Rhys said seriously. "Why?"
She blinked. "Why?"
"I mean, I understand the plan and all. But this kind of thing is still immoral. I thought you wouldn't…"
A deep sigh crossed her lips and she caressed his cheeks. She brushed their forehead against one another. "I am a very cruel woman. I don't know my own heart these days."
"You like me." Rhys mumbled.
"If you know, why are you confused?"
Rhys sighed. "Well, it's hard to believe. Your like and my like is very different. Besides I know you say the same thing to everyone."
"My, my how did you guess?"
His eyes twitched in annoyance. "Don't admit it."
