Chapter 34 - 33.Emma

Albert's party head to potions store to stock up some more and deliver their Earth Chives. The earth chives quest they take from the village hall turns out to be a commission quest from the store. Upon delivering the store would buy their earth chives for 3 copper each.

"Emma!!!! What are you doing here? I thought you were assigned to a different tutorial village." Alice greet one of her friends excitedly

Due to Albert's physical condition, Alice becomes a target for bullying when she's young. Little did they know the little devil is very cunning and she destroys the bully group by pinning them against each other. Picking the weakest of the bully and make their school life miserable as her life goal.

Emma is one of Alice's friends who stick with her through some difficult time hence she treated her as a really precious friend. Emma is in a 5 man party with her cousin and her cousin's friend. Previously on the second day after the experiment; Alice asks her to join their group in the morning assembly;

Emma decline as her parents told her to stick with her cousin if possible. Emma is not that close with her cousin but as blood is thicker than water she joins her cousin group and dives in the tutorial world together.

"Alice!!! I didn't know that you also start in this village. Maybe the school assigned more than 1 group in each village?" Emma greet Alice back

"Well, whatever the reason is it turns out to be good for us. We can hang out together if when we have free time. Have you tried to go outside? Fighting monsters around the village are really fun. We killed a lot of horned rabbits today."

Alice starts telling her about her day while the rest of the party goes inside the shop. Turns out Emma's party also finishes their potions stock so they are restocking inside the shop. Emma's cousin, Drew is a sports guy and only hangs around with other sports guys. Alice greets him as he exits the store but he didn't hang around for long as his other teammate is eager to hunt more.

The two girls said goodbye to each other and go on their own way. Albert party acquires a little more than 3 silver selling all the Earth Chives they gather. Overall they gain a little under 10 silver from hunting for 2 hours. Deducting the cost of Mr. Theo fee they still gain more than they starting funds.

Spending the money at a faster rate than they gain it the party goes on a shopping spree. 3 stacks of lesser HP potions cost them 4 and a half silver; On top of that they still need other utility potions such as lesser MP potions.

Looking at the time they still have around 3 and a half hours before 3 pm. The group decides to go out and hunt again to raise their experience and gather carcasses for Kana's quest.

"This is boring!!! We've been hunting the horned rabbits for almost 3 and a half hours today. We should go look for a different enemy." Alice complains 1 hour into the hunt

James: "I gotta agree with her; The experience gains is really nice at the start but now we didn't even get any. Should we look for other monsters?"

Albert: "We'll you two are the one who does most of the fighting so if you feel like you can take stronger enemy; I don't really mind, going into the forest may be a bit difficult as I need to navigate with my wheelchair but other than that I'm down."

Kana repeatedly remind James to be careful as different enemy means different attack pattern. She sternly warns him to lure 1 enemy first so they can learn their attack pattern. The party head to the periphery of the forest to look for the different enemies. They didn't plan to go inside as stronger monsters live inside the forest.

Their target is a monster called four-eared monkey. The monkey resides inside the forest but to avoid more ferocious monsters they usually wander outside the forest to find their food.

It took the party 10 minutes before they spot two wild monsters. What they found is not their original target the four-eared monkey but two big sized monsters called long tusked wild boar. James and Alice are eager to pounce forward but stopped immediately by Kana.

Remembering his own promise to only face 1 enemy at a time James agree to look for another target. They spend another 10 minutes looking around before they decide to hunt the 2 long tusked wild boar. They found the four-eared monkey but they travel in a pack making it harder to hunt them.

"Okay, so how about Luna would restrict one of the boar and we focus on the other one finishing it as fast as possible?" James suggests a strategy

"That would work wonderfully if the enemy is horned rabbits or four-eared monkey. I don't think Luna can fully restrict a big sized monster. But we could try; worst-case scenario 1 of you would come help me restrict the snake while the other finish it." Albert agrees with him as he couldn't think a better solution

'Splitting the group into 2 wouldn't help as splitting the party mean that one of the group would lack damage to finish the monster. Extending the fight would be dangerous as the party didn't have any support that can heal so the only option would restrict one monster while finish the other as fast as we can then finish the other one'

"Let's start the fight with your shield charge; After you finish charging just leave it and go help tank the second boar. Hopefully, you can stun the boar long enough for Luna to fully restrict the boar." Albert suggests after further consideration.

Finish arranging the role, Albert's direct Luna to move behind one of the boar ready to pounce at command. Nodding his head giving James signal to start James starts running with his shield in front of his body.

DANG!!!!

A Loud sound could be heard followed by a red -10 number appear above the boar head.
