Chapter 68: 2.54 – A.I.M – Mr. and Mrs. Jelly
7:00 PM.
Currently, A.I.M worked on a few important projects. To meet the due line, Bing Shi had to work overtime together with her employees, who accompanied her enthusiastically.
Smart, confident, independent, that’s what everyone thought...except Bing Shi. Sometimes, self-conscious thoughts would fill her mind.
‘~You are so stupid.’
‘~ You are not good enough.’
‘~ You are nothing compared to Xuan Mu.’
‘~ You need to be equal with him.’
.....
‘Be quiet, you monkey.’
Bing Shi felt overshadowed by Xuan Mu. No matter how hard she worked, she would always think that she was not enough, the stress was eating her up from the inside.
While modeling the roof of the building, she got a phone call from Xuan Mu.
“Bing Shi, I’m in front of your company,” he said.
“Oh, you didn’t have to. I could go home by myself. I still have some unfinished work.”
Xuan Mu pouted in displeasure, “Bing Shi, you forgot that we have a date today?”
“Oh my god, I forgot!” Bing Shi stood up in a hast. She said goodbye to her staff and rushed out of the building towards the black car.
“How lucky to be a Boss. She can leave work whenever she wants,” said a male employee, feeling envious.
“She caught a rich boyfriend too. She became pretty famous thanks to it,” a female employee responded.
“Who wouldn’t want Guan Lin’s son as a boyfriend. I’m so jealous,” said another female with a dreamlike expression.
“I was so surprised! I would have never thought that our Boss has such powerful backing,” exclaimed a second male.
“Such an easy life. I would do anything to be born into a rich family. Why is she even working?” asked the first male.
“I don’t think so. Imagine how much pressure did her parents put on Bing Shi from childhood. She grew up with the thought that a multimillion-dollar company’s fate will be in her hands. I wouldn’t be able to do it,” a third female explained.
“Doesn’t she have two brothers? Isn’t it strange to give everything to a daughter?” asked Male One.
“She was always known as a sole heiress. Didn’t Bing Shi tell us that her brothers have no interest in taking over the company? One wants to be a soldier, while the other a vet,” said the first male.
“Such a cool sister.”
They chatted while working, scared to stop. There was a monitoring program in their computers, checking their every move, increasing their work efficiency.

When Bing Shi closed the door of the car, her lips were captured in a gentle kiss.
“Until when were you going to work?” his lips traced down towards her neck, nibbling and kissing her softly, “Your time management is so bad.”
“I’m sorry,” Bing Shi smiled apologetically, “It’ll never be as good as yours. I wonder, will I ever beat you in something? Even your cooking became better.”
“Stressed?” He caressed her neck, kissing it continuously, “Continue being my woman, please,” he chuckled, “You don’t have to learn martial arts, nor car racing. You, cheering on me is enough, really.”
“Some women like them! And they are so cool. Not like me,” Bing Shi sulked then grinned, “Cheering on you is more fun than fighting myself.”
Seeing no reaction from his kisses, he let go of her neck and pecked her lips, “Do you want to try shooting range today?”
“Xuan Mu, our dating places are so strange,” Bing Shi laughed and kissed his neck back, “Well, everything is better than a boring walk in the park.” She grinned, “I’ll beat you in the shooting.”
He grinned and started the engine, “Not happening. I like it when you cry in frustration.”
“You sadist,” she grimaced, “You are enjoying when I make fun of myself, huh?”
“Yeah, your instincts are hilarious. Like a chicken, you run away before a fist could reach you,” he laughed, remembering it, “Aren’t you going to retort? Why don’t you...seduce me then kick me? Mm... that would be nice revenge.”
“I’m going to do...nothing,” Bing Shi shrugged her shoulders, “Wake me up when we arrive.” She put on her seatbelt and went to sleep.
“...” Xuan Mu’s face cracked and pinched her tight, “Who is a sadist, huh?”
“Meeee,” Bing Shi said in her sleepy voice, catching his hand she interlocked their fingers.
Xun Mu gripped her hand and smiled at the road before him, “Bing Shi, why can’t you see your power, hm?”
“I see none. There is only a stupid girl pretending to be more than she is,” she said with closed eyes, “But she is pretty with makeup. So it’s a win, I suppose.”
Her self hurting words pained his heart, “Bing Shi, you need to vent your stress, somewhere.”
“I tried meditating, but there are monkeys in my brain.”
“....” Xuan Mu laughed helplessly, “Why don’t you try pole dancing?” He suggested, “It should give you strength and confidence.”
Bing Shi woke up in surprise. “It doesn’t suit my image,” she frowned.
He raised an eyebrow, “Do you have an image before me?”
“I don’t,” she grinned, “Was this your scheme? To have an exclusive pole dancer?”
He let go of her hand and caressed her hair, “Not at all. I just thought about a nightclub. The only interesting thing was those women dancing around the pole like acrobats.” Touching the earbud in his ear, he called his people, “Let’s go visit the best pole dancer instead of the shooting range.”
“Sureeee,” Bing Shi checked the videos on the internet with bright eyes, “So beautiful!” She grinned happily to herself, “So badass.” With a gleeful smile, she looked at the smiling Xuan Mu, “Learn with me.”
“Sure,” Xuan Mu laughed.
Her gleeful smile disappeared soon.
