He Yuan had no intention of attending the court trial in the first place but, to the outside world, Li Yexi was happily married to Zhang Jun and Zhang Jun was 'devoted' to Li Yexi even with his love for Li Shiyu so this wasn't the time to cause trouble and let Li Yexi's reputation be affected in a negative way.

"So you still remember Zhang Jun is your husband hmm?" She said through gritted teeth. "We've all been doing our best to make sure Zhang Jun doesn't suffer unjustly but what have you done? You've been sleeping under the Zhang family roof, eating our Zhang family food whilst acting like we're all strangers to you."

He Yuan lowered his eyes and mocked a sad look. "It's not like I did not want to help but you know Zhang Jun hates me so much and he's going through a lot. I don't want to anger him further by offering my help."

The Zhang madam choked. "Li. Yexi. What nonsense are you spouting? You really have no shame don't you?"

Li Shiyu looked at He Yuan with eyes filled with tears. "Yexi. I know you're doing all this because of Zhang Jun's feelings for me but now is not the time to bear a grudge. You have been married to Jun for over five years after all and you even constantly claimed to love him, does your heart not hurt to see him in this situation?"

The omega suddenly dropped to his knees in front of He Yuan. "The Li corporation has a lot of connections that could come in handy now but they have refused to make a move because you probably told them not to. Zhang Jun has treated you extremely well over the years, his only flaw was not being able to stop loving me even after he met you.

-Are you really going to punish a man over something he had no control over?" The omega's tears were pooling on the ground and some reporters were beginning to notice the scene. "If you want to blame anyone, then blame me. I'm used to it. It's my fault for being involved with Zhang Jun all those years ago, it's my fault for having his kids.

-Believe me, if i had known you were in love with Zhang Jun then I wouldn't have let myself to fall for him back then. Then maybe, maybe-" The omega broke into heart wrenching sobs.

He Yuan was beyond pissed. Li Shiyu would die if he didn't make everything about him wouldn't he? Zhang Jun clearly committed a crime, what exactly has that got to do with Li Yexi's relationship with him?

He looked around at the reporters that were beginning to gossip whilst taking pictures and he cursed under his breath. He couldn't even say anything to defend Li Yexi because if he did, people would only interpret it as him accusing Li Shiyu wrongly out of jealousy.

It was no news that the star-crossed lovers in any story had the people's blessing whilst the lovelorn villain belonged in hell and was a tool used to emphasize and enhance the lovers' love for each other.

He Yuan lowered his eyes and smiled wryly at Li Shiyu before walking past the omega and entering the courtroom. Whatever damage Li Shiyu's acting skills had done to Li Yexi's reputation, he would pay back with full interest.

The Zhang madam walked over to Li Shiyu and sadly hugged the omega. "It's okay now Shiyu, we already know Li Yexi's character. He never really cared for anyone but himself."

The murmurings of the reporters increased again as they took more pictures. People always saw Li Yexi as an easygoing, compassionate omega that was easy to get along with even if he was from an influential family. Who knew he was truly this kind of person outside the public eye? What a pretentious omega!

And from Li Shiyu's words, it seemed Li Yexi was constantly making trouble for his cousin. He was already married to Zhang Jun, was there any need to go after his cousin like this?
