1798 Crash and Hit

Dayus immediately left the clan grounds and stood on top of the wall of the city. He looked into the horizon at the west side.

Within a minute, he could already see a black dot appearing out of thin air at an extreme speed.

It didn’t even take a moment for him to notice who it is.

Sam could also see dayus and his vision is a dozen times clearer than Dayus. His face turned colder and the wind elemental energy around him changed a bit. Slowly, silver sparks started appearing around him.

The destruction that he is leaving behind with his travel just increased to a new level. The lightning charred everything in his path. The clan leader immediately activated the defense formation.

Dayus became vigilant and took his spear out. Got ready to defend themselves. Of course, he didn’t stay there, he ran towards the clan grounds and met with the father and child once again.

“That guy that’s coming right now is bad news. Let’s get away from here. Even I won’t be able to stop him right now. Your father would also have a hard time. So, let’s get out of here.”

The young master looked at Dayus in disdain. He didn’t even bother to refute whatever he is saying.

He just sat there and tried to take care of the formations there to add extra protection to his child.

“The defense is already maximum. It is the best defense you could hope for within the seven clans.”

“Fuck it. This is all the defense you could muster? This formation will be done in a minute at most.”

Dayus said in a frustrated tone. He didn’t know what to do. He has half a mind to just kidnap the father and child and be done with it.

At this moment, the formation already started fluctuating. Dayus walked into the balcony to take a look.

A dark cloud started forming on top of Sam and it is brewing with silver lightning. Now he is just around a hundred meters away from the formation of the city. Just the rumbling of the lightning already started making the formation blink.

Sam took out the spear he got from Zeus’ palace of inheritance. He raised the spear to the sky and his body started with the lightning elemental fusion.

The silver lightning struck from the cloud into the spear-like stream. He pulled his hand to the maximum and threw it at the formation. The lightning from the cloud disappeared and the cloud itself dissolved into the air.

The silver lightning around the spear became dense and condensed as it hit the formation.

The formation didn’t even flicker, it just collapsed with an explosion.

The city walls crashed.

The spear made its way through the city and Sam followed it closely. It landed on the formation of the clan grounds and then it broke through the walls, the buildings, and residences.

Dayus and the young master saw the spear coming toward them and they could also see Sam following it.

The building collapsed and the young master lunged toward his child. He protected the child with all his energy.

Dayus took his own spear and threw it at Sam’s spear. He clashed with the biggest strike he could muster at the moment and finally, the attack was a bit neutralized.

But just the aftershock of that clash turned the whole building into rubble. Dayus widened his eyes in disbelief. He looked at Sam in shock. He never thought that Sam could be this powerful. He can be sure that if he used all of his strength, to the point that he is drained, he might be able to pull off an attack like this.

The only problem here is that Sam doesn’t look drained.

He caught hold of the spear that flew off from the aftermath and threw it once again, this time it is a little restrained.

Dayus took out another spear to block the attack. He tried his best to deflect it and he fell on his butt just from that.

When the dust settled, the young master of the clan fell forward with the child still in his hands. His child was safe though, but he fainted.

Sam didn’t even look at the child. His eyes are locked on Dayus.

Looking at Sam’s cold gaze, he felt a chill in his spine. He thought that Sam came for the child, but from the looks of it that is not the case.

“I need you for a short while. Your time in this task is over.”

Sam said and he reached out his hand to grab Dayus,

Dayus used elemental fusion to turn around and tried to run away.

But before he took a few steps, he felt like he hit a wall. Sam is already in front of him and he held him by his throat.

He also turned towards the child. He waved his hand and the wind gently carried the child to them. He checked the child to see if there are any injuries or any damage. And luckily, nothing happened. The child just went into a bit of a shock.

At this moment, Sam suddenly felt a sense of threat. He stored the spear away and took out his reaper sword.

Dayus finally saw some hope.

They felt the presence of the clan leader. The Divine Plane cultivator.

Sam looked placed the child on the ground and turned to Dayus.

“Protect the kid.”

And then he jumped into the air. The reaper sword glowed with divine energy as he launched himself toward the upcoming attack.

The clan leader made a move. A flaming sword strike was making its way toward Sam which he met with his own sword.

As Sam made a spin in the air and met with the sword strike, he was pushed back and he landed right next to Dayus.

He didn’t look weak, and neither did he look damaged. He looked just the same. Dayus is once again stunned. He didn’t even know how to wrap his head around Sam being so strong. But before he could make sense, he saw another sword strike coming, but this time, Sam didn’t clash with it.

Because by the time he landed the Dimensional drifter is already in his hand and he used it to grab Dayus and the kid to disappear from there.
