As if she is afraid that Stone will disappear.

"What new look? You look the same to me." She spoke through her muffled voice still tightening her hug.

They stayed like that for around twenty minutes. In complete silence without speaking anything. But Stone had to break the silence.

"Jade, we don't have time. We need to leave."

As soon as he spoke, she flinched.

"How are we going to leave? My father.... The academy wouldn't let me go because of my father. Even if the Dean is not here and my sister is gone, they are too afraid of my father to let me go just like that."

She sat up and looked at him with a worried gaze. He smiled and said.

"Don't worry about it. None of the people at the academy have the luxury to care about you. Just trust me and come with me. I need you to meet somebody."

She held his hand tightly and stood up along with him.
