2349 Multiply again
The barrier closed as soon as Sam jumped.
By now, Rashma also saw the creatures coming at her from all sides.
"Why are you here?" She asked with a grin.
Sam sighed and said.
"I just noticed this, so I came to get you out of here. I laid down some elaborate plot to mess up the whole team competition. I didn't want you in the middle of it all."
"Nice. What is the plan?" She broke the hawk once again and asked.
"For now, getting out of here."
Sam tried to use the transference token and spatial blink, but as expected they didn't work. Whoever, laid this trap is not an idiot, but they are not overly smart either. Sam closed his eyes to try and sense something.
Then he opened his eyes once again and smiled.
"I need you to do me a favor." He asked Rashma.
"What is it?" Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"In around twenty seconds, all those creatures, around four dozen of them will be here, among those over a dozen are violet aura creatures. I want you to break them down to the smallest pieces possible.
Judging from the recovery speed, crushing a skull like you did will take around three minutes for them to recover fully.
I want you to make the recovery time at least ten minutes. Leave the small fries alone. They won't pose much threat to me or what I am about to do."
"That's all?" Rashma asked her grin even bigger now.
"That's all."
"Consider it done."
Rashma gave a sweeping glance to all four tunnels. The creatures are out. She disappeared like a flash as she picked her first target.
A violet creature that looked like a giant humanoid. Its similar to the first skeleton Sam encountered. Rashma punched on its giant head. The punch connected, with one hit it broke then skull and the impact travelled through the neck and to its spin until the pelvic bones.
Except for limbs, the rest of the bones are all destroyed.
They started recovering immediately, however, Sam is sure that it will take more than ten minutes.
He closed his eyes and sensed the connection with his specters to keep an eye on the four groups. He wanted to see if they are making contact with some other groups. But no, they are not.
When it reached a full glow...
*BOOM*
It sent a shockwave throughout the skeleton. A shockwave made with combining the ripple style and void style. A very toned down void style just to be precise.
As the energy shockwave went into it, the bones broke. Split into several pieces like a rotten tree bark. But that's not the end of it. The piece of spine to which the formation disc was attached, remained intact.
After the complete collapse of the skeleton, when the skeleton started rejoining and getting back into shape, the glow of the formation disc dissipated rapidly. It injected a large amount of energy into the skeleton.
The regeneration process instantly sped up.
It is almost ten times faster. The skeleton joined within no time. Its energy became denser and it is also a step closer to the next color grade upgrade.
The moment the skeleton is intact and its energy is stable. The formation disc once again gathered more energy and created a shockwave.
Sam smiled as his little trinket worked its magic.
He already picked a second target and placed the trinket on it. His first targets were obviously the white color grade skeletal creatures. He then moved up. By the time he was done, there are already new skeletal creatures that spawned because of the color grade changes.
This made him think again.
It would be a shame to not use this chance to multiply them after all. It is already a shame for him to not think about this beforehand. But it is not too late.
The production units in the divine dimension stopped everything else and started working on these trinkets on hyperdrive.
Soon, Rashma just stood there and looked at the skeletal creatures in daze.
The skeletal creatures doubled in the matter of forty-five minutes and they are still not showing any signs of stopping. As soon as a new creature spawned, Sam just strapped them with another disc.
While doing that, he worked on something else. He observed the formation structure and started tweaking with it to take control over. Once he gained the control, the first thing he did is to cut of the view of the others from it.
Now, even if the four teams tried to break in, they wouldn't be able to do so easily.
After everything is done, Sam clicked his tongue and said.
"I think we can leave now."
"Where are we going? Are we not going to fight? I want to beat up the guys who planted this trap."
"Not right now. As I said, my plot is way too elaborate and boring to be just messed up like this. Now this barrier and those overly increasing skeletal creatures are a perfect addition for this.
Let it blow over and after that, until the end, you can just fight to your heart's content. You will have more than enough enemies to do that."
