Chapter 1733: Sam's Big Words
Demigods all stared at Sam with a frown.
This is the first time, they took any real interest at Sam. After all, in their own words, he is but a toy to them. He is nothing more than a plaything. So, they didn't care much about his appearance or prowess.
Even the reward the Demigod at the front promised, made them focus little on this guy.
But now, they cannot just ignore him anymore.
Sam finished his stretching and spoke.
"I don't know who gave you the information about me. From your attitudes, whatever you have heard, you probably didn't believe, or the person who gave you the information didn't give you the full information.
But let me tell you a few things about me.
I have a very good memory.
I never forget a thing. I might throw useless and insignificant things to the back of my mind, but they are never truly forgotten.
My memory is good that I even remember the face of every person that I killed so far.
The next thing I want to tell you is that I always punch above my league.
I killed my first Nascent stage enemy when I was at the Great realm.
I killed my first Transcendent stage enemy when I was in the Grand realm.
I killed my first Consummate stage enemy when I was in the Nascent stage.
I killed my first Astral Plane cultivator when I was still a mortal.
And I have killed countless Peak stage Astral Plane cultivators when I was still in Astral Plane Initiation.
And now I am at the peak stage of the Astral Plane and I even felt my first strand of Divine energy just a couple of days ago.
Now that I remember all of your faces and you are basically at Peak of Divine Plane of cultivation, I believe it wouldn't be too long before I take heads of each and every one of you.
So, before you run your filthy mouths, you better remember that."
Sam paused for a moment and looked at the Demi god who offered a prize for his head.
"And finally, any piece of shit, you thinks they can get my head for a price or a prize, should know this. There is no such thing as a truly fair fight with me, when the conditions are fair, it is unfair to my opponents, when conditions are unfair, it is deadly to my opponents.
I have never lost a fight on equal grounds. No matter how many enemies they are, the numbers won't matter. So, if you really want to even put a challenge, send the best you got and send them all at once.
I will finish them off quickly and leave this place.
But if you insist on sticking to these stupid rules and send one person after another, wasting my time, I will torture my opponents to the extreme.
I will give them the utmost pain in the shortest time possible.
I will make them wish they have lived their worst nightmares instead of fighting me and I will make them crave death than enduring me.
So, the decision is up to you.
Knowing all that I have told you now, you better adjust your behavior and behave.
Or wait for the consequences."
Sam finished speaking and just stood there calmly.
The Demigods looked at him with different expressions, the weakminded of them all are obviously pissed. They wanted to get up and scream and if not for the presence of their peers, Sam is sure that they would have done it.
The second type are the ones that are radiating with killing intent. They are all bite and no bark kind of guys, the exact opposite to the first type. They are also angry, but it is because they genuinely felt insulted.
Not because of any insecurity they had.
The third category were the people who were amused.
They are intrigued by the way Sam dared to speak to them and in their minds, they still treated Sam like a toy.
Sam didn't mind their behavior. He couldn't care less about what they think. In fact, he wouldn't have even bothered to spew all these threats if they were just like any other people he encountered in his different levels of this competition.
But these people are directly linked to the gods and Hel herself said that they are here to amuse themselves at the expense of Sam and the players. So, they have to pay the price and he has to send a message to the gods that whatever he said in the previous round is not a joke. There is a price to pay for ignoring his words.
And that price must be paid, even if the other party is a god or the devil.
The person who put a price of Sam's head belonged to the third category.
"I would like you show me. I would like to see if you can deliver in on your promise.
Show me that you can really make the opponents experience the utmost pain in the shortest time.
And the next opponent is my subordinate, so I would like to see it even more."
As he spoke, the gate opened once again and the next person entered.
This man looked jacked. He is six and a half feet tall and he had this bloodthirsty aura surrounding him.
He had a spear in his hands as he walked forward slowly.
He looked at Sam like he was looking at his archenemy.
Sam wanted to wait for that weird feminine robotic voice to announce the name. But the Demi-God snapped his fingers making it stop.
"Since every opponent is the same to you, there is no need for any introduction." Is what he said to justify his actions?
Sam didn't mind. It will be too much of a waste for him to use his brain power to remember all these names anyway. He would prefer it this way.
As the opponent came to him slowly, Sam chose not to be passive. He took kicked the shaft of the heavy hammer and broke it.
He left the head on the ground and took the staff as he spun it a bit before running toward his opponent.
His opponent decided to meet Sam with a similar speed.
As both of them clashed their weapons, Sam ducked low. He bent so low that his face almost touched the sand. He could inhale the sand grains if he took a deep breath.
At that posture, he slid between the legs of the opponent and went to his back. Before the opponent could realize it, he stood up and pulled the staff up, hitting the opponent on the genitals.
As if that is not enough, he kicked the opponent on the back making him fall with his face first.
He then once again used the staff to smash him all over the back across his spine, shattering it bit by bit.
The opponent could feel his spine turn into a thousand pieces with every passing second.
He felt pain beyond physical limits. He felt like a soul and will collapse with every hit.
He is one of the best fighters in the arena and Sam is now beating him up like he is a child and it is not just to humiliate him. Humiliating is just an added bonus.
Sam is truly trying to destroy him as a whole. He can never think of the possibility of his body returning to normal after the beating he just took.
As if that was not enough, Sam finally stabbed the staff in the back, exactly at the place where the spine is supposed to be.
The staff went into the back without any resistance, since the bone is all shattered.
He then diagonally pushed the staff into the back towards the neck.
Sam then raised the staff with the man hanging on it like a dead limp animal before stabbing the other end to the ground.
The man couldn't move his arms or legs, all of his limbs fell limp and his spine is gone. So, he could not even twist himself off of the staff, he felt all the blood leaking from that hole in the staff as it slowly dripped across the staff and seeped into the ground.
He looked at Sam and said in a weak voice.
"Please, kill me."
Sam dusted his hands and jumped suddenly before landing an ax kick on the forehead of the man.
The body dug itself deeper into the staff and the sharp end came out of his mouth ending man's life in an instant.
The Demigods looked at the scene and gulped. And it is not even figuratively. Sam could hear the loud collective gulping sound.
Never in a hundred years, they would have expected something like this in this arena.
And this place is somewhere they come to enjoy the most gruesome shit done to people by each other. But what Sam did surpass anything they have ever witnessed.
Just watching it appeared like torture for the audience, they wouldn't even imagine themselves being in the shoes of the victim.
