Chapter 15.3 – Rescued

They arrived at the cave about two hours later.

Su Qin and the others thought it was the arrival of the villagers, and were about to jump down the waterfall. Luckily, Yun Fei shouted in time to stop them from jumping off the cliff with the raft on their backs en masse.

When Hong-hong’s brother saw her, he almost couldn’t recognize her.

The brother could not believe that this disabled girl whose limbs were chopped off and tongue cut off … is his younger sister.

It was already 8pm that night when they arrived in Nanyi County. Those villagers who led the police assault and got shot were sent for medical treatment while Su Qin and the others were arranged hotel accommodation.

The accommodation in the county was not as good as the city, since there was no five-star hotel here.

When everyone was having dinner around the table, Father Meng touched the back of Meng Sisi’s head and sighed, “Sisi, just make do for tonight. Once we are back in the city, Dad will certainly let you stay in the best hotels when we go out for trips in the future. Dad will bring you out to eat the best delicacies once we return home.”

“Dad.” Meng Sisi was engrossed in eating and she put down her chopsticks to look at him after hearing that, “Dad, the accommodation and food here are already very good. We had been eating cold stale corn buns these days. It has been a long time since we had eaten steaming hot rice and meat.”

Meng Sisi lowered her head and bit a piece of lotus root as she gave a sullen ‘En’.

Li Chuan gripped his shoulder, “Its okay, go back to sleep.”
