Chapter 909: Sword God Inheritance Part 1

"Mama, it is not that I am afraid to deal with people harshly, it is just that I do not see a need to pick on the weak too much. I do not want to be considered a bully. Teaching the girl a lesson like I did is enough. The old man did nothing too serious to be considered worthy of me messing with. Plus, he even retreated without making a scene.." Angelica replied.

"Okay, okay… you made your point. I will leave you be. And go back on my journey." Kana said as she leaned forward and hugged Angelica. "Be safe. I will be there when you need me."

"Mm… Bye, bye, Mama."

---

A young girl skipped happily down towards a gathering out in the middle of a large field. She looked around in great curiosity as she looked at the stalls and other things that were set up. She saw a female cultivator standing off to the side and decided to go up and ask a question that had been on her mind the entire time. "Big Sister, what is going on?"

"Hmmm? Well, aren't you just the cutest thing?" The girl smiled and patted the young girl's head as she pointed toward the mountain peak that towered over the field. "At the top of the mountain, there is said to be an inheritance of a great sword god. But no matter how many people come, no one has been able to gain the inheritance, and all have been defeated by the guardians that protect the inheritance."

"Oh? Okay, thank you, Big Sister." The young girl gazed up at the mountain as a flash of determination appeared in her eyes. She made a firm decision. She would claim this inheritance for herself!

As she walked towards the mountain path leading up the mountain mumbled to herself: "Sister Bi, do you think this inheritance is worth anything?"

"I am not sure, Mei, if we can gain it and it is able to be merged into one of the sword stances, it might just make it strong enough to finally beat Big Sister Yana!" Bi Ling replied.

"Mmm…. I wonder if Big Sister Yana would be mad if we beat her. I mean, it is kinda unfair since it would be two versus one." Mei Ling did not like the idea of fighting her big sister two versus one.

"Ugh… Now that you say it like that, it does seem unfair. But that doesn't mean we can't gain it and see if it is worth anything, right?" Bi ling really wanted to check out this so called inheritance to see what it actually was.

"I guess we can only see…. But Sister Bi, you will need to take over…." Mei Ling was still too timid. Although she had grown stronger and could kill people in her current form, she was still easily intimidated, even if she was stronger than the other party. This was where Bi Ling came in. She was someone who was tough and never backed down! Mei Ling's complete opposite.

"Alright, but Mei, in the future, when Mama separates us, you will need to overcome the things that hold you back." Bi Ling was worried for Mei Ling's future when they were separated into two different bodies. She would no longer be at Mei Ling's side all the time, which made her worry for her sister.

"I know…. But I have been in control for so long I wanted you to have a chance…." Mei Ling replied while trying to cover up the lingering fear she had of the people on the path leading up. Some were very tough looking.

"Okay, then let's go! I will make sure we get this inheritance!" Bi Ling said out loud, causing the other cultivators to all turn and stare at her. Bi Ling paid them no mind. Not even the ones who were giving her dirty looks could break her current good mood.

She climbed halfway up the mountain before a group of men stood in front of her blocking her path. "Little girl, you should turn back. There is no way this inheritance will ever be yours, so why even try?"

Bi Ling looked at the four men in confusion before something clicked in her head: "Is this what they call bullying? I see this is my first time experiencing it. To think people would actually say such crappy lines. I guess It's fine for me to toss you away."

"Huh? Do you really think….. Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!" The man who was about to tell Bi Ling off was suddenly tossed through the air down towards the ground. Even as he tried to use his spiritual qi to stop his descent, he was strangly unable to and was sent flying into the ground. He was soon joined by his friends, who also tried to stop Bi Ling.

"Hmmm? They were this weak? Then why were they trying to bully me if they were so weak?" Bi Ling did not understand, nor did Mei Ling. "Sister Bi, just ignore them. We should hurry."

"Mm… let's go." Bi Ling nodded. Neither Bi Ling nor Mei Ling noticed a certain figure floating in the air above them, watching them with warm eyes.

"Those two make a good team. Makes me almost not want to split them apart, but I know Bi Ling wants her own body even if she doesn't say it out loud." Kana smiled as she floated there, keeping an eye on things. Out of all her children, she worried about Bi Ling and Mei Ling the most.

"Hmmm, I wonder how the others are doing?" Kana waved her hand, and three water mirrors appeared in front of her. Rain is traveling through a forest while Creige is busy hammering away at a mountain, and Ako is currently sitting on top of a mountain top cultivating. "After Little Mei and Little Bi finish up here, I will go see Rain before checking in on Ako. Handsome Husband Will be last. I will make sure he is very well taken care of!"
