Chapter 916: Kana and Creige

Kana was currently hovering over a mountain top, looking down at the figure sitting there in a deep meditative state. "Seems like Ako will be here for a while. Creige had long sensed Kana's presence, but since she did not come out, he continued with his work. He would be able to tell when Kana was near, no matter what. To him, she was his life. He could only keep going because of her. When he was by himself trying to grow stronger, he would have given up if not for her.

Kana watched as Creige continued his work. He would stop here and there to check a few rocks he dug out. But he never actually took time to rest. After a few hours of watching him, Kana decided to finally come out of hiding. She had her hands behind her back as her bare feet walked across the cold stone floor of the cave. Her tail wagged back and forth as she came to a stop right behind Creige. "No matter what you do, you always look handsome doing it."

"And no matter what you do, you will always be the most beautiful," Creige responded as he stopped his pickaxe. He turned and looked at the love of his life and smiled warmly at her. "Are you not supposed to be running around trying to find a way to break through?"

"Mmm… but…. I couldn't help but want to look after everyone. Creige…. If by chance one day we are unable to be together, what would you do?" Kana asked. Sometimes she had a strange feeling that once she reached her goal that she would not be able to be with her family anymore. This feeling scared her. She did not like it one bit.

Creige sighed as he stepped forward and took Kana's hands, leaned down, and pressed his forehead onto hers. "Mmm… If it is due to my own weaknesses, then I would just have to overcome them no matter how long it took. I made a promise that no matter where you go, I would follow. If you died, I would die. "I do not care where we end up. As long as we are together facing whatever is in front of us as one instead of by ourselves." Creige spoke softly as he ran his fingers through Kana's hair.

"I still want more babies…." Kana's words made Creige chuckle.

"Then we will have more babies. Whatever you wish, I will do what I can to grant it." Criege never liked telling Kana no. While sometimes he had no choice, he still wished to give Kana everything she wanted.

"Mm… then when we leave this world and enter the sea of stars, let's have another child…. We can lay low and spend some time relaxing in a secluded spot. Raise a child and allow them to grow strong. I wouldn't mind having a baby boy…. Hehe… A mini Handsome Husband would be lovely." Kana's ramblings caused Creige's heart to hurt. He hoped when her memories of her previous life finally do come back that, she would still be able to hold the smile she has now on her lips.

Doing his best to keep his emotions in, Creige nodded and squeezed Kana: "Yes, let's have many children, boys, and girls."

She had heard there was a sect that was at the pinnacle of the sword dao. Kana had found many resources over the past four years and distributed them out to her family while still keeping some herself.
