Kana pursed her lips. She did not realize she would be scolded on the first day she got a maid. With a pouting lip, she walked into the living room and sat on the couch, and began watching tv. Nancy giggled at Kana's actions as she went to work. She had a good grasp on people and knew that she could be a little forceful about her job around Kana, but she knew that she should never stop too far.
When she entered the office and saw the pile of delivery food, Nancy almost choked, not only because of the stench but also because of the fact that she could tell that there was not a single dish here that was not meat! "I will need to fix this. If my new master only eats meat, then she will end up dying! I do not want to end up with a new client that ends up being some kind of pervert."
And so, without Kana realizing it, she had already signed her own death note. She would soon be tortured to eat green enemies with no meat to be found. And said person was currently lounging on the couch with a big smile on her face as she watched a comedy show. She had one foot draped over the top of the couch while the other was half hanging off the couch. With a remote in hand, she was slowly becoming a channel flipping warrior.
A few hours passed, and the smell in the penthouse had slowly become normal once more. Bags of trash had been pulled out and shoved down the garbage shoot. With everything finally cleaned, Nancy got Kana to give her her card and did some food shopping online. It would be sent by drone within a few hours. "Here is the card and receipt ."
"Oh!" Kana took the card, and the printed out receipt but froze when she saw something very wrong with the order. "Umm… Nancy…. Is it just me, or is there no meat on this list…."
"Yes, from what I can see, you have consumed enough meat to feed half the city. But now that I am here, I will be sure you eat a proper diet. There will be no meat for an entire week!" Nancy stated firmly before walking away.
Kana, on the other hand, fell off the couch. Her eyes filled with tears. "What do you mean no meat for a week!? Nancy! Wait, come back! Bring back my meat!"
Kana got up and chased after the evil maid, who was now getting to know the kitchen area, and begged and begged for some meat, but she was turned down without any sympathy whatsoever. Even with tears in her eyes, Nancy ignored her and continued cleaning the kitchen, which had picked up quite a bit of dust.
Kana pouted and walked into the other room, took out her cell phone, and called her favorite delivery place. Since Nancy would not order meat, she would do it herself! Or so she thought.
"Miss Kana, your maid called and told us not to allow you to order anymore. So even if you offered us more money, we will not be able to fulfill your order. You should really eat your vegetables. Too much meat can be bad for your body." Kana's phone dropped from her hand, but she quickly caught it before hanging up without saying goodbye. She then called many more meat placed from her speed dial, and the same thing happened over and over.
"This can't be!" Kana cried out as she raced out of the penthouse and down towards the street stall across the street. This was her last option unless she had to go to a place further away, but as she walked over to the counter after waiting in line for fifteen minutes, she was stunned to see a big poster hanging at the side with her face on it with words underneath that read: "We can not sell to this person…."
"Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kana cried out loud as she slumped to the ground. A set of footsteps could be heard behind her. Kana looked up to see a young woman in a maid outfit standing there with a smile on her face. To Kana, this person looked like a monster! She let a meat stealing monster enter her home, and now she could not eat meat!
"Master, I suggest you give up. No one on this planet will allow you to buy meat from them. You just need to hold out for an entire week, and I will start adding meat to your diet again." Nancy said while holding her hand out to Kana.
Kana lower lip quivered as she suddenly broke down crying. "Your mean! Stealing my meat!"
Nancy sighed but still did give in. She knelt down and scooped Kana up, and walked away with her. All the people who were watching the scene wondered just what the hell was going on since they had never seen anyone cry like that just because they had their meat taken.
One had to wonder how Nancy did it. How did she make it so every place in the area had signs up saying they could not serve the person in the picture? It was not just a few streets but half the world that had Kana's image posted.
Kana had cried herself to sleep, and when she woke, she woke up to the smell of something good being cooked. She sniffed the air and walked toward the kitchen, where Nancy was cooking up some vegetables along with some rice. Everything had seasoning on it to make it taste better. Nancy knew Kana wanted meat, so she could only try her best to make the food Kana did not want to eat taste as good as possible.
Kana had a finger to her lips as she snuck a peek inside the kitchen. When Nancy turned around, she quickly moved her head away. Nancy smiled and pretended she did not see Kana at all. She plated the food and put it on a tray as she yelled out: "Master, dinner is ready!"
