Chapter 1154 First Trial Part 7
"Do you care to explain to me what is going on?" The king looked at the prime minister with cold eyes. The prime minister shrank back. He then looked at the maid and said: "She put me up to it! She would only sleep with me if I did what I did!"
"Like I will believe that!" The king was not stupid. The man was trying to push the blame!
"I have an easy way to make him tell the truth." Kana suddenly announced. "Helden, hold the prime minister. I will search his soul and get all the facts."
"Yes, Miss Kana." Helden did not even look at the king for permission. To him, right now, the most powerful person in the room was Kana. Her word was law at this time. The king also did not object. He knew if Kana wanted to do something, there was no stopping her.
"Let go of me! You can not do this to me! I am the prime minister!" The prime minister's shout fell on deaf ears. He was held in place, and Kana walked over and poked his head. A small blue transparent object suddenly floated out from the middle of his brow and stared at Kana in horror. "What did you do!? Put me back!"
"No." Kana waved her hand. The prime minister went silent. An image appeared above the prime minister's head. Memories of things he had done wrong since taking office appeared in front of everyone's eyes.
The king's expression changed over and over until finally, he said: "Enough. I now know that the prime minister struck a deal with the church. He's an idiot! Did he think they would let him live? He is nothing but a pawn!"
"People with greed will always fall. As for him, he not only used his status as prime minister to do evil, but he also tricked this maid into doing something she would never have done. But greed is also what pushed her." Kana sighed. She was glad she never cared about money and only cared about her family.
The king looked at the maid, who was wrapped in a blanket, shivering away, and sighed. "Helden, arrest her. She will be punished according to law. I can not take pity on anyone. She still did things knowing what she was going to do."
"Wait! Please wait!" The maid shouted out. He could not let them kill her family! "My family had nothing to do with it!"
"This is true...." The king paused before saying: "Her family will not die but will be exiled from the kingdom."
"Understood," Helden replied. He then looked at the lifeless body of the prime minister and then at Kana, who was pinching a soul between her fingers and poking it. "What about him?"
"I will make him a door ornament for you. He will be burned by flames that will kill him and then bring him back to life. He will be in an endless cycle of life and death for all eternity. His soul will burn over and over. The pain is nothing someone one can ignore." Kana let the soul in her hand go before snapping her fingers. The soul was quickly encased in a void orb, and a flame grew inside. The prime minister's expression turned to one of fear before it showed intense pain. No sound could be heard, only the expression of a soul being tormented for all eternity.
Kana handed the door ornament over to Kana and said: "Here you go. Let this be a reminder to only trust your family. But I must ask, what happened to your sons and daughters?"
"I am not sure. They should have looked for me many times, so I am not sure what is going on." The king replied.
Kana frowned and sent her divine sense out. She found the king's bedroom, where three young men and two girls sat at the bedside with their heads lowered. In the bed was a picture perfect copy of the king himself. "It seems the prime minister has his ways. Come, we will go back to your castle and explain things. Tilia should also come along. After all, it will be good to know the reason you were saved was because their new little sister had come looking for you."
The king smiled and nodded. "This is true!"
A few minutes later, Tilia and Ceilie were both back in the room. "Kana, will it be safe? No one will harm Tilia?"
"Big Sister, do not worry. No matter what happens, I will protect her. Tilia is part of our family now, after all." She meant it when she said this. Kana had always thought of both Kiliffia and Tilia as her family. She still treated them as such to this day. n(-0VelBIn
"Okay. If you say she will be fine, then I will listen to you." Ceilie understood one thing. Kana was strong. Why she suddenly became strong was a mystery, but to her, at this time, Kana was the most powerful being in this world.
"I will be back. Big Sister, rest and get some sleep. When things are over, we will live a good life." Kana smiled before tearing a hole in space and walking through it. The king and Tilia both walked through as well. Helden stayed behind to settle some paperwork. He also had to take the maid in to get her put in prison until her execution time.
"Papa! Please wake up." A young girl's voice filled the room as the others all nodded at her words.
"I have been awake this entire time." A familiar voice filled the kids' ears, causing them to both look at the figure on the bed. "Father!"
"I am not there! Turn around." The king sighed as he stared at his children's backs.
"What!? Why are there...." The oldest son suddenly thought of something and walked over and pulled the mouth of the person on the bed open. His face changed when he saw that it was empty. "A fake! Then that doctor!?"
