"On this day, we say goodbye to Rin's Grandmother. She spent the end of her life doing what she wanted to do most, which was to protect her granddaughter at all costs. While her first journey ends here, her second journey is just beginning. She will now be inside her granddaughter's heart for all eternity. Walking the same path as her granddaughter does. "Let us all have a moment of silence and give thanks to Rin's Grandmother for raising such a cute child." Kana hated funerals but she wanted to give Rin a means of moving on. This was why she chose her words carefully, making it seem like the old woman would always be by Rin's side.
After the funeral, Kana gathered everyone together to make an announcement. "We will claim this land as ours. It is out in the middle of nowhere. No matter which way I go, there is nothing but forest. But this place is also quite good. It is rich in many different kinds of energy and also has a good source of water and fertile land. We will begin building homes here and make this place our foundation in this new realm. It will give us a chance to raise our power even more as well before we come in contact with those who might see us as easy targets.
"Nia, if you wish to return, you can or you can stay here with us. But we might not move from this spot for a good tens of years." Kana wanted to give Nia a chance to return home if she so wished.
"I.... Can I bring Tia here?" Nia had her head lowered and was playing with her fingers as she asked this. She really wanted her sister to meet her mama.
"Actually, Kana, you do not need to worry too much about me. There is a spot not far from here that seems to be calling out to me. It might be a chance for me." Creige had had this strange feeling since coming here. That something was calling out to him. He knew the general direction and distance, so he knew it was not too far away. If he was right, if he went to this place, he could gain power enough to protect himself and his family.
Kana bit her lip as she looked at Creige. She knew she should let him go, but she was worried. "Only if you let me put a marking on you so that I know where you are at all times."
"Alright." Creige nodded. He did not mind if his wife was tracking him.
Kana waved her hand, creating a small runic symbol in the air that shot forward and entered Creige's chest. She would know where he was anyway, but this was a precaution in case something happened. It would allow her to arrive at his side faster.
"Creige, be careful." Kana's worried look made Creige smile softly. Even after all this time, Kana still deeply loved him. "I promise to return to you as soon as I can." Creige moved forward and gave Kana a kiss before flying off. "Now then... Tia, come, we will go to the river and have a chat." Kana took Tia's hand and pulled her along. She wanted to get to know this other daughter of hers.
