99 – Congratulations Are In Order

Nelliel rolled her eyes. "I think you know what this means," she said.

Hisashi smiled. "What if I want to hear you say it though?" he asked.

She blushed hiding her face in his chest. It seemed the momentary confidence after beating Gantenbainne and regaining her position as an Espada had run out.

He rubbed his cheek on the top of her head. Her hair smelled nice and fresh. "Well? Cat got your tongue?" he teased.

"F-fine. I like you? Is that what you wanted to hear?" she said.

He smirked. "That's exactly what I wanted to hear," he said.

When he agreed to the mission that lead to finding Nel Tu with the intent of gaining a powerful potential ally he never would have dared to expect things to go this way. He would have been happy just succeeding in making her an ally. Getting a beautiful girlfriend was something he never thought of being a possibility when he left for Hueco Mundo. He wasn't going to complain though. Even amongst the many beautiful women in the Bleach universe Nelliel stood out as one of the most beautiful.

The only thing he could curse was that even as a Vasto Lorde they couldn't do much beyond kiss and she could cuddle him. His Hollow bone armour covering most of his body was part of him and couldn't be removed and his blades prevented him from doing more than wrap his arms around her carefully even with her Hierro as protection. It was just one more reason on top of the many he already had for becoming an Arrancar.

They were broken out of their moment by Apacci who was making fake gagging sounds not too far from them.

Hisashi glared at her for ruining the moment. This was the first success he had with a woman in decades. Even if it wasn't a human woman it still counted. Apacci just acted like she didn't see it though.

Cirucci sighed. "Congratulations on your victory," she said begrudgingly.

Mila Rose came up smiling, not caring about the atmosphere, and just hugged the hugging couple tightly. "I'm so proud of you Nelliel," she said loudly.

Due to his slitted eyes Hiashi had trouble telling where Gin was looking, but he felt it was him and Nelliel. "My oh my," Gin said teasingly, his mocking smile never leaving his expression.

Aizen just seemed to ignore his behaviour though sporting the same seemingly kind smile he usually did. "Congratulation on your victory Nelliel. I didn't expect anything less from you," he said.

Nelliel nodded, but didn't seem very interested. Her focus was still primarily on Hisashi.

Aizen's smile turned a little awkward. "You'll have to come with us for a little to get reinstated as an Espada," he clarified.

Hisashi patted Nelliel on the back and smiled at her when she looked up at him. "We'll see you later," he told her.

She seemed a little disappointed, but eventually nodded letting go of him and breaking up the group hug. She left with Aizen and Gin, leaving them alone with nothing much to do.

Apacci jumped up excitedly. "Let's go pack for our move!" she said.

Now that Nelliel had become an Espada again they would be able to be part of her Fracción and live in her palace. A big upgrade from their already rather luxurious accommodations.

It didn't take any convincing to get the rest to agree. Even a grumbling Cirucci followed them. Their actions indicated they were already planning on joining Nelliel and she wasn't too pleased since she had been working for weeks trying to get Harribel and the Tres Bestias to join her.

The other Espada and Fracción watched them closely as they left. It was clear things would be changing in Las Noches going forward. Between Nelliel's miraculous recovery and the large group that returned with her many of which were some of the most powerful beings in Hueco Mundo if those in Las Noches were excluded. Some where excited while others were worried about what this would mean for the future of Las Noches, or at least their future in Las Noches.

They were walking down the many winding hallways of Las Noches when suddenly they felt a lot of pressure bearing down on them out of nowhere. Standing there was Nnoitra with his oversized double crescent halberd. Despite his smile he was anything but welcoming though.
