Chapter 15 Preparations [1]

"Did Lord Slabhead tell you about my plan?"

"I heard rumors".

Legolas nodded in a satisfied manner on hearing that which once again left the Frost Crane thinking about the real age of this man stuck in a kid's body.

"So, do you fully understand the plan?"

"Not fully".

"Ok, let me explain then". Legolas shifted on the makeshift chair that he sat on. "In essence, my plan is just hijack their Mountain Toads and escape".

"There's no other escape plan that can work unless stronger powers are introduced".

"Our best shot that I theorized is hijacking their Mountain Toads, separating, escaping through the sea and hoping that we are not pursued and caught".

"Also, I learned that 2 Grade E Superhumans are in charge of the warrior units sent to take us back. With me making the 3rd Grade E Superhuman here now, we already have our first advantage over them".

Legolas spoke some more for an additional 5 minutes to clarify everything with this Grade E Summoner before he finally stopped.

After he was done, the Frost Crane asked only one question. "Are you truly just a 15-year-old kid?"

Legolas smiled. "Guess".

With that, the strange infiltration turned meeting finally came to an end. Legolas was able to kill 2 birds with one stone, completing the Grade E mission to become a Grade E Summoner and also luring the Frost Crane to his side.

With 2 of the 3 Grade E Superhumans among the criminals already in on the plan, the last of them, the Afro Pugilist was sure to join in also.

The Frost Crane did not just agree to persuade the Afro Pugilist to support the plan, but he also took on the mission of making all the criminals aware of the plan. They had less than 2 days to fully prepare before the D-Day.

Legolas came to the Rock territory as a thief but he left as a lord.

On getting outside, Predator was being tend to by the criminals. Legolas entered the scene, mounted his contracted beast for the first time before finally riding out of the Rock territory with style.

Legolas returned straight to the cave to see Lucky safe but still in a coma.

He worried for the Star Fox. As Lucky was a package that was not present in the real game, he had no idea what to expect with it which worried him.

Even with his zoologist profession, he knew nothing about a Star Fox.

Despite his worries though, he put them all aside since like every other criminal here, he also needed to prepare for 2 days later.

The first thing that he did was accessing his virtual interface status.

-----

Basic Summoner Knowledge- Organic Connection

----

Legolas was grateful for getting this class knowledge. The organic connection knowledge gave a Summoner deeper understanding of his contracted beast which through mysterious means builds an organic connection between them.

With this organic connection, both of them were tied together even more. If one of them leveled up a grade, the other was sure to follow soon.

This basic knowledge in Legolas's previous life was what enabled some untalented Summoner's rise to the peak when he lucked on a legendary beast.

This lucky devil became a Grade S powerhouse because of his beast.

Of course, though Legolas left them, he never gave up on the other class knowledge that the Frost Crane had, he only exercised patience. He had a better and less compromising plan already to get them.

With that, Legolas smiled and finally decided to check his virtual status.

-------

Apart from the game interface status remark that was a bit harsh, everything else about his new status look made Legolas smile.

The strength increase grows as superhumans level up through higher grades, so Legolas was not discouraged that he did not become a god immediately.

"No rush, no stress, I just need to take it steady and I'll get there".

A day later, somewhere in the Nightmare Beast Island…

2 Grade E Superhumans sat on top of a massive boulder in this dangerous island as they looked at the boundless body of water that made up the sea.

The burly Pugilist on Afro turned to face his leaner counterpart and asked bluntly. "What do you think of him?"

"The boy?"

"Yeah".

"Well, I'm not sure but he's definitely abnormal. Not just his speed of progression, everything about that kid feels abnormal".

The Frost Crane rubbed his head. "I think it's that Fox of his, I'm certain it's a special beast, it probably bestows him with incredible luck". His face lighted up with greed as he said this.

The burly Pugilist snorted. "I don't care who that mofo is or what Star Fox he has, all I care about is escaping out of the grasp of those motherf*ckers".

"If he can help me with that, then I'm satisfied".

"See you tomorrow, I'll go drive some motivation into those blockheads so they can master the plan more perfectly, I want no one f*cking me up, humph!"

The Afro Pugilist jumped down from the boulder with a thud and left. The Frost Crane shook his head before also jumping down.

For the remaining parts of the day, every criminal in the Nightmare Beast Island worked hard on mastering the escape plan under the rules of the 3 Lord criminals, the Frost Crane, the Afro Pugilist, and the Young Nightmare.

In the blink of an eye, night came and not too long later, morning came.

The morning see breeze blew like usual across the island as the sun rose from the horizon, the D-Day was finally here.

Legolas left to visit the Frost Crane that morning.

"I need a bag to carry a living beast without it suffocating".
