"Stay behind…, we can't let them detect our traces".

"I can keep myself hidden". Blade insisted.

Legolas turned to look at his student, the look in his eyes portrayed seriousness, he tried to convey the idea that no mistake could be made in this.

"I am confident". Blade looked straight at his master.

"My Pugilist powers have been improving with more increasing speed in recent weeks, I have developed more Pugilist abilities".

"I have an ability that can hide my superhuman aura and another that can keep myself in a stealth state, I believe they won't detect me".

Blade successfully convinced Legolas with this, this was the reason why he let his student follow him when he tracked the 3 enemy Grade C powerhouses.

Tracking arguably the 3 most powerful individuals of the Clown Society took a lot of guts from Legolas's part, but it was his belief in his own ability to stay hidden that persuaded him to carry out his crazy plan.

Keeping a safe distance, Legolas successfully tailed them for 5 minutes, then they suddenly disappeared.

Bzzz!

Legolas's incredible familiarity with it enabled him to detect the spatial fluctuations, his face turned grave again as he wondered what happened now.

Blade became tense on noticing his master's reaction. "What happened?"

Legolas did not reply immediately, he frowned as he went deep in thought.

For the past 6 months, Legolas had been mostly content and confident with his growth and the progression of the storyline until today.

So many things were already happening today that they didn't make sense to him, most of the things that happened today like Jon Stones dying didn't happen in his previous world so he already lost confidence in his knowledge advantage.

The rippling effect of his reincarnation were more than he thought.

Most things were still the same, but the more important details about this world and the Clown Society were already being subject to change.

His frown deepened. 'What is their plan?'

'They already fell the Pugilist Academy and Jon Stones'.

'According to Christensen, they also attacked and destroyed the Dragon tower, what the hell are they up to?'

Legolas could no longer predict the thoughts of these villains.

The incredible plan and successes of the Clown Society today already spread more than enough chaos, Legolas could not comprehend what else that they were up though. But he had an idea and it terrified him.

"I hope not…"

"What?" Blade asked again.

And again, Legolas did not answer him. "Follow me".

Without hesitation, Legolas mounted Predator as Blade used his own unique way to accelerate and keep up with him. After about a dozen minutes, they arrived at the nearest shelter and the first thing that they met was chaos.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

This shelter already turned into a massive battlefield, the civilians fighting for their lives and family and the vicious criminals became the war champions.

Legolas watched all the death and chaos with a passive look on his face.

Behind him, Blade already clenched his fists as he witnessed so much death.

Throughout his time with his master, he had killed a lot, death was no longer new to him but witnessing the death of so many innocent civilians reminded him of his family and his clan.

Blade grounded his teeth together as his energy flared.

Legolas stopped him. "Not now, wait for me".

Alone, Legolas entered this shelter. As soon as he entered the shelter, another rainbow light like that of a dying star appeared in the sky.

Seeing this, Legolas was shocked. "Another Grade C superhuman died?!"

This was when the news came like a tsunami, apparently, the Clown Society were not satisfied and they attacked the royal family. After just a reign of 1 year, the tyrannical King, King Tom was assassinated by the Clown Society.

This news brought a lot of shock and mixed feelings to this shelter.

Legolas was among those who received the most shock.

'Why?' He just could not wrap his head around this completely incredible progression, like he feared, he was already losing grasp of his advantage.

'King Tom was supposed to last to at least a year later'.

'In fact, the Clown Society never had a 4th and 5th Black Master in my previous life, the storyline already diverged into another story entirely'.

Legolas was shocked and slightly horrified at the development.

Despite not wanting to admit it, he knew that all these changes were due to him. In this version of Dominator, Christensen was still supposed to be a good for nothing while Blade was still supposed to be a prisoner of the Clown Society.

Changing this part of history completely changed the storyline.

Not only did it pressure Clown to rapidly accelerate his plans, affecting the whole planet and storyline, it also affected more. If the Skull Pugilist didn't clash with him and Blade, he would never have found the epiphany to improve.

If he didn't intervene, all the tribes of the desert would have been wiped out and Din becoming the 5th Black Master would have never been a reality.

Legolas felt shaken all of a sudden.

All his decisions up to this point were all for his own benefit, taking Christensen in, taking Blade in, saving the desert tribes, they were all for his benefits, both short-term and long-term benefits.

He never made a decision without thinking to benefit from it.

Perhaps his obsession with benefits finally bit him this time.

One truth that still horrified Legolas till now was that this was no longer Dominator the game, this was Dominator the reality. His actions, both the subtle ones resulted in all these and the current chaos.

Thinking of all the lives that were already lost because of the ongoing chaos and the more that would be lost, Legolas felt a strange feeling engulf his heart.

He felt like he had a direct hand in the loss of so many lives.

He originally made all those decisions to maximize his profit. Letting the Clown Society wreak as much destruction as possible originally benefited him, since it would maximize his information importance to all the main organizations.

He thought all these were part of his masterplan, he expected all these to increase his importance to the extent where he could finish the Grade A mission, Enemy of the Clown Society with an A or even higher completion rating.

He never expected the Pugilist Academy to fall though.

He never expected Clown to feel so pressured to change so much.

Legolas changed his mind. 'I can't stay content with this anymore…'

'I need to be more proactive!' His eyes gleamed.

In his opinion, the happenings of today were more than enough to tell the surviving lawful organizations of the threat of the Clown Society. They would all be willing to grant his wishes just to get his knowledge of the Clown Society.

Legolas resolutely left the shelter, on arriving outside, he saw Blade still waiting for him and without hesitation, he informed him.

"Follow me".

"What?!" This time, Blade didn't follow, he wanted to be in the know.

Legolas turned to look at his student and understood. "The King is dead, our planet is already engulfed by chaos, we need to act fast lest Clown win".

"We need to make the lawful organizations understand my importance".

"So long as they are ready to buy my information, while we grow and become stronger, we'll save the planet at the same time".

"Follow me".

"To where?"

Legolas paused and thought for a few seconds. "Since I'm a Summoner, I believe the Summoner Academy will recognize my competence more".

"We'll go to the Eastern Continent".

"We're going to the Beast Canary".

Legolas dragged a random Wind Wolf from Akela's pack, he handed it over to his student. "We need to be fast, we don't know the Clown Society's next plan".

Blade looked at his master then without a word, he mounted the Wolf.

Without hesitation, Master and student set out of this shelter.

Legolas intended to take the shortest route that led to the Eastern Continent through a Great Forest, as Predator charged into the forest, the Nightmare Beast's instincts suddenly spiked as the gigantic beast paused.

"Roar…!!!" Predator roared loudly at the forest.

Legolas was startled, before he could react, 2 devices flew through the air.

BZZZ!

Legolas briefly felt like he was hit by a space tornado, he stayed on Predator's back but Blade could not as he fell from the Wind Wolf's back.

Before Legolas could understand what happened, his virtual interface lit up a notification that shocked him.
