Literally all the Grade C powerhouses stayed behind to merry.

The establishment of the Nightmare Army was another representative of the changing era. During King Tom's reign, he would have never allowed the establishment of an organization housing 6 Grade C Superhumans.

He would have seen it as a threat to his rule and opposed it vehemently.

President Shanks approving this meant 2 things. First, it was his acknowledgement that Legolas was now the strongest individual in Planet Darvis.

Legolas may not be the strongest in terms of raw class power but after his performance in the Battle of Hellfire Mountains, his real combat power was up to wild guesses.

No one knew if he could enter that god state again, no one truly knew how powerful he was and this shrouded him in a veil of mystery.

And besides, apart from that, his influence in the Planet was now unmatched, testament of the powerful Superhumans that were under him.

Having personally groomed monsters like Blade and Christensen, and subsequently assimilated old monsters like Heimdall and King Nagakin, his overall influence in the Planet was now to the point of being ridiculous.

And second, it meant that President Shanks had complete trust in Legolas.

It was his confidence that Legolas would not abuse this power to harm the Planet that made him approve it. To commemorate this record-breaking day, President Shanks stayed with the other Grade C powerhouses to merry.

As they drank and told war stories, Daemon suddenly froze.

Literally all of them noticed the unusual reaction.

"What happened?" President Shanks asked.

Daemon didn't even have the time to reply, all he could do was to look up.

The sudden change in frequency of the radar detector did not alert the engineer the first time.

When the alien machine beeped again, he was finally jolted to reality.

Scrambling awake from his nap, the young engineer tapped his older and much more experienced superior who was also taking a nap. As soon as the middle-aged engineer woke up, the glowing red lights of the alien machine alarmed him.

"Get away!" He pushed the younger engineer away and went closer.

Without professional mechanic knowledge, it was hard for these engineers to grasp some of the more complicated concepts about radar technology and their other sensors but they did with what they had.

It took some time but this experienced engineer in Planet Darvis terms was finally able to interpret the frequencies, his eyes widened in shock and alarm.

"This frequency?!"

"A metal hull this thick to induce a frequency with such a large wavelength, and this closeness". He looked up. "It's a Battleship".

The young engineer almost fainted. "A Battleship?!"

The middle-aged engineer's face turned grave. "From the textbooks provided by High Official Legolas a month ago, if I'm not wrong, it's a Capital Spaceship, likely a Battle Cruiser".

"Inform the Core Protector!"

"Yes sir".

Almost at the same time that the middle-aged engineer gave this order to his junior counterpart, a signal materialized to life inside this isolated chambers.

Bzzz!

A virtual projection flickered to life; a yellow alien face came to life.

"Attention, engineers".

"This is Captain Miyamoto Chan of the Nak Navy, Captain and Commander of Battle Cruiser #0129, the Fiery Gorgonion".

"A Combat Carrier of highly trained supers is on it's way to your location".

"If you do not surrender to them immediately, I will unleash the entire payload of advanced long-range torpedoes currently locked onto your location. Also, expect the full wrath of a modern Cutting-Edge Battle Cruiser".

"You have 3 minutes to confirm your surrender".

"Refusal to comply will result in your annihilation".

"If you tempt me, you will die".

"…!" The middle-aged engineer felt all his blood rush to his head.

"Initiate Code Red!" He literally screamed at the top of his voice.

"Yes sir".

Even as they scrambled to send a message through to the Core Protector while initiating response Code Red across the whole headquarters, it was already too late as the Battle Cruiser finally entered the planet's atmosphere.

BOOM!

The Battle Cruiser barging into the Planet's atmosphere and suddenly being subjected to Planet Darvis' gravity induced a sonic boom.

A shield generator flickered to life an instant later, shielding the Battle Cruiser from the crushing force of the planet's gravity as it stabilized.

The Battle Cruiser was not alone, instantly after it penetrated the atmosphere of the planet, 2 other Spaceships followed. Though they didn't induce as much commotion, the Combat Carrier and the Logistic ship still made their entry.

They entered the atmosphere directly above the Hellfire Mountains.

Instantly after appearing, their powerful thrusters didn't even have to work anymore, Planet Darvis' powerful gravity worked on them as it dragged their gigantic metallic bodies down.

Like the alien Captain said, the Combat Carrier took the lead below ahead the other 2 Spaceships as it accelerated down faster.

To the protectors in the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance, 3 enormous black objects directly appeared above them as they descended rapidly.

In just a few seconds, they crossed thousands of kilometers and entered shooting range. By now, the activities of the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance already confirmed that they had no intentions of surrendering.

Inside the Battle Cruiser's command chair, the captain ordered.

"Attack!"

The Battle Cruiser and Logistic Ship slowed down, hovering in the atmosphere even as the Combat Carrier kept on descending.

The advanced torpedoes were not the only disaster, they didn't waste time, the Battle Cruiser's main turrets unleashed their load as for a brief moment, the skies above the Core Protection Alliance became a picture of red fire.

The power accompanying the destructive loads was mighty but having initiated code red, the bulk of the headquarters already went underground as only a thick metallic hull and shield was exposed to this bombardment.

Compared to before, after President Shanks' investment, the defense of the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance already vastly improved.

This was the new Core Protection Alliance.

The thick metallic hull withstood the damage.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Power was burned from the shields as they absolved the incredible amount of damage, meters of thick armor plating across the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance was chipped through after bypassing the shields.

Despite the incredible damage, the headquarters held.

"Attack!" The acting Core Protector yelled at the top of his voice.

Instantly after, attacks from Elementalists were shot into the air, forming a dense net of danger towards the closest massive Combat Carrier.

The attacks were aplenty but the shield of the Combat Carrier withstood the damage. Not just that, following the orders of their Captain, as soon as it came within range, warriors started jumping out of the combat carrier.

Supers armed with different weapons and gadgets jumped out.

Before they could hit the ground, from the Combat Carrier, a huge box was thrown out. Shortly after being thrown out, it exploded as space turned thick.

Bzzz!

"Space-time stabilizers!" The humans recognized them.

Thud! Thud!

This was when the foot warriors of the Nak Navy finally reached ground.

"Attack!"

They did not hesitate.

They unleashed disaster unto the headquarters of the Core Protection Alliance.
