Chapter 370 Planet Titania

The Roronoa Star System was a giant void of floating debris.

Through the see-through transparent screen of the Frigate, Champion Onana watched with his Cutting-Edge technology transformable Rifle placed on his shoulder. His fingers slowly stroked and caressed the weapon's metal edges.

Seated on a chair like an Emperor, he watched with amusement in his eyes.

Through the see-through screen, he could see the floating debris and space junk in space. All these seemed to speak a long history of an old once thriving Space ecosystem and a likely Empire that ruled it all.

"What a sad story". He muttered.

"The floating junks all sing a different story of the disaster".

His 2 cyborg eyes each glowing red and blue pulsed as he seemed to be reading history through the metallic junk. "It was intense".

"Ahh…, the General's take was wrong all along".

"They have the wrong history".

His glowing cybernetic eyes glowed with more intensity as he looked at the floating debris. "It was an uprising against the ruling Empire…, interesting".

"A deadly coalition starting from 3 planets allying together".

"Hehe…, like with all Empires, they became conceited and underestimated the power of coalition and unity".

His eyes glowed brighter as he imagined everything as they happened in history. "In a century, a force rivalling the ruling Empire was born".

"And…" He grinned then he clapped excitedly. "War started!"

"Planet after planet was destroyed". He traced his hands through the hazy forms of the debris. "War fleets were destroyed every other hour".

"Hehe…, what an intense part of history I missed".

His eyes glowed brighter again. "Oh! So, it was the Empire's main planet that caused the radioactive pulse? Hehe…, I never believed that 2 warring planets was enough to induce a radioactive pulse".

"Ah! The Emperor did it himself, hehe".

"On knowing he would die and that his Empire would fall, like I would have done, he pulled the suicide switch on. Triggering all the volatile minerals and exotics that he had gathered in his resource rich planet for centuries, it happened".

"A GIANT RADIOACTIVE PULSE". He raised both his hands exaggeratedly.

"And…BOOM!"

"A star system was gone".

"Beautiful story!"

He clapped. "What a beautiful story!"

It was at this moment that the hatch to his compartment was opened, a young warrior donning navy blue military attire walked in.

"Our long-ranged sensors just detected the 3rd Planet".

"Planet Deart?"

"Yes".

"Oh, show me".

A projection appeared in this compartment, that of a gray planet as massive as Planet Darvis. Unlike Planet Darvis, Planet Deart had no bright lively colors, the concentration of gray indicated that the planet was devoid of life.

"What a pity". Onana muttered.

"Do you intend to change course or…?"

"Continue course for Planet Titania". His eyebrows tilted in curiosity. "I believe that is where all the real excitement is".

"Yes Sir".

"We are prepared for warp travel".

"Go on".

"Yes Sir".

Shortly after the young soldier left, as their Captain, Champion Onana watched the floating debris with pure amusement on his face, the Frigate briefly vibrated before being pulled into the higher dimensions.

The Spaceship entered warp travel, it disappeared.

Bzzz!

The Frigate appeared in an entirely new region of space.

After weeks of continually jumping into the higher dimensions, squeezing the distance for faster travel, Champion Onana and his space crew finally arrived at the subject of his curiosity, Planet Titania.

Wom! Wom!

A projection from the engineers was brought to him.

[Warning! Volatile energies detected!]

[Warning! Gravity exceeding ship limits detected!]

[Warning! Ultra-radioactive energy detected!]

[Warning! Ship has been pulled into a gravity well!]

The real Captain who piloted the Frigate took over control. "Activate all available Space-time stabilizers".

"Activate the gravity stabilizers".

"Deploy the 2nd and 3rd layer energy shields".

"Engage our thrusters on reverse at full power".

While the crew of the spaceship responded to the storm that they were caught into immediately after arriving out of warp travel, Champion Onana finally stood up from his chair in fascination as he observed the Radioactive Giant.

Planet Titania was a hegemon in space, this was Onana's first impression.

Compared to this planet, Planet Darvis looked like a dwarf.

The extreme radiation coming out of the Planet formed 4 distinct layers. The 4th and outermost layer gave off an orange radioactive pulse, the inner 3rd layer gave off a green pulse, while the inner 2nd layer gave off a purple hue pulse.

As for the innermost layer, the Frigate's sensors could barely pick its signals.

The only reason why it could was because Onana's Frigate was a state of the art Nak Spaceship, and that as a Spaceship originally built for scouting purposes, it's sensors were far stronger than anything General Aztog's fleet could offer.

The 1st innermost layer gave off a deep gray pulse.

Pure fascination filled this Mechanic's face as he watched.

"Such raw radiation power". He was amazed.

"This can only be caused by thousands of years of grounding debris in its horrifying gravity while taking the lion share from this star system's giant star".

The Roronoa Star System's sole Giant Star was recorded in General Aztog's map. The massive energies being radiated by this Giant Star were mostly absolved by Planet Titania daily, and it explained it's horrifying power of radiation.

'Not even my Frigate can survive so much radiation'. He thought.

Despite the horrifying power in display before him though, one thought still occupied this Mechanic's mind. 'All this power, can I harness it?'

'Delzebub beat me the last time'. He briefly scowled at the thought.

'I promised him I'll beat him next time'.

'Perhaps, harnessing this raw energy is the key'.

'If I can somehow harness it and integrate its horrifying powers in my Berserker's power reactor, I may be able to supercharge it's whole base parameters'.

'And not just that…' His eyes gleamed. 'If I can harvest a metal or mineral produced from this planet, adding it to my improved power reactor, I may be able to unlock an entirely new mech ability'.

"Get the radiation Starship ready, I'm going out". He suddenly ordered as he picked up his last gadgets before stepping outside.

"Boss, you intend to go alone?"

"Yes".

"But it's dangerous!" His crew was horrified.

He smirked. "Life is inherently dangerous".

"We'll never enjoy it if we give in to our cowardice and hide in defeat, the pleasures of life are in exploring the dangers and limits of life".

"Boss…"

"No more".

"But…"

"This is an order!"

"Yes sir!"

A few minutes later, a much smaller, compact, but inherently stronger and more armored space vessel was launched out of the Frigate.

Champion Onana left alone.
