Seated in his office in the headquarters of the Nightmare Army, Legolas sat cross-legged in meditation as he cleared his mind of every distraction.
In this state of serenity, his mind was able to gain clarity.
In an hour's time, his brain was clear and ready to go.
'Are we sufficiently prepared for the cataclysm?'
'When will the invasion start?'
This was the biggest problem of the war strategy.
Like President Shanks already emphasized countless times, Planet Darvis may have developed at such a crazy pace that they'll leave their opponents shocked, but this did not mean that they became stronger than the Naks.
They were still the weaker ones; they were still the underdogs.
To come out of the Cataclysm alive, they needed to push themselves beyond their limits, they needed to fully utilize every tiny advantage that they had.
'Our advantage is that of the element of surprise'.
'If we can hit them with that element of surprise, even if we still have no chances of winning, we may perhaps still catch them off guard and stall them successfully, we may even be able to drive them back'.
'So, how do we amplify the advantage of our element of surprise?'
While Legolas thought about this subject, due to the special state he entered after meditation, it didn't take him long to arrive at a plan.
He finally opened his eyes. "The players!"
He did not rush it, the first thing that he did was through his virtual game interface, he accessed the player forum to look at their discussions.
>Mashed Potato Lord: Holy Sh*t guys! Have you guys noticed? We only started Version 2 a day ago and the atmosphere in Planet Darvis is already feeling like the Cataclysm would happen any moment, I'm scared guys<
>Sus Lord: You disgraceful mixed pot of sus elements! That's phrased wrongly, it's more like you're excited<
>Mashed Potato Lord is typing<
>Mashed Potato Lord: F*ck you!<
[MEE601! Player Mashed Potato Lord has received a warning for using inappropriate and offensive words.]
>Mashed Potato Lord: …<
>Donald Enigma Trump: Mashed Potato Lord is not wrong; I've also noticed it. The tension in the Planet is already increasing, I feel like the Cataclysm would happen any moment, I think this is related to the apostrophe after the Cataclysm<
>Donald Enigma Trump: Perhaps that is a hint that this Version would be an action rollercoaster throughout. Btw, have you guys noticed? Have you noticed the book of the hero of Hellfire Mountains that was written about Legolas?<
>Iron Man's PP: Yes, I also saw it. According to it, Planet Darvis won the war only because Legolas infiltrated the Clown Society to fish for information<
>Enigma Trump: That is exactly what I'm saying, can we do the same? You know, our infiltration skills would be even more dangerous since we can fake it all while sending information through our dm and the player forum<
>Lurker Lord: Damn, big brain time! I feel it can work<
The Lurker Lord was not the only lurker, Legolas's eyes gleamed.

[You have created a Grade D Mission: Infiltration]
[Mission Details: Infiltrate into the base of the Nak Navy in Planet Darvis to collect information. Use whatever means possible to get information out. If you are caught, you will be penalized]
[Mission Rewards: +1000 Favorability with the Nightmare Army, 10,000,000 Experience Points, and 1 Mission Completion Card!]

…
A few minutes later, Legolas was in the secret base of the 3 Grade C Ancestors that was hidden deep in the Northern Continent.
This was where he took his daily Alchemist classes.
Before entering the base though, his eyes gleamed. 'I already dropped the bait, it's now up to them if they will take it'.
Creating a mission of that nature was risky but Legolas still went on with it due to the little restrictions that he put.
By putting out such crazy rewards for the mission, a lot of players would be attracted to it. While by putting out a penalty for failure, he hoped to eliminate a lot of the opportunists and skill-less players who would have taken the mission.
That way, he would be left with the best and most confident players.
'I hope some of these guys manage to help me with what I want'.
He no longer hesitated; he went inside the base. On going inside, like he expected, he saw George hard at work.
The contents of the cauldron sizzled as George worked on them.
With a serious look on his face, this powerful Grade C Pugilist focused on making more pills and potions.
Without needing to ask, Legolas already knew that Gorgon was out in the wild, risking his life to face Absolute Zero again while Enoch was probably already at the secret construction base working alongside John and Ella.
Like every other Superhuman in Planet Darvis, they were all working hard.
Seeing their efforts, Legolas did not hesitate, he soon joined his master.
A few minutes later, he created 5 new pills.

[You have created a New Pill: Brain Liberation Pill! ×5]
[Brain Liberation Pill: When ingested, helps in brain liberation, allowing a Superhuman to harness more of the potential of his brain power, indirectly increasing combat power, battle instincts, and other combat-related elements.]
…
[Congratulations! You have created a Class A Pill!]
[You are 1 step closer to becoming a Grandmaster Alchemist!]
----
George noticed it, he stood up. "Well done, what prompted you to do it?"
Legolas was also shocked, this was his first time being able to create a Class A Pill. In the end, his response was simple. "It's because of the war".
"I'm just psyched for it and it perhaps affected my performance".
"Ok". George gave a simple nod and returned to his work.
…
In the base of the Nak Navy in Planet Darvis, in one of the more luxurious rooms, Alexander stood with his hands behind his back as he watched his planet.
This Shadow Elementalist's hands were clenched.
'In no time now, I will finally fulfill my dream'.
'Legolas will be dead'. His face twisted in hate.
'Planet Darvis will finally be conquered'.
'And in exchange, I'll finally be able to learn more about the outside world'.
'I wonder if I will be able to see our ancestors on going out there'.
'Besides, I wonder how hot chicks in the Minerva Star System are? Hehe…'
While he fantasized about this, the door to his room suddenly opened as a warrior entered inside. Alexander didn't need to turn to feel Din's energy.
"What?"
"I've come to report that more of those Immortals are showing interest in joining us".
Alexander finally turned around, he thought for a few seconds. "Take them in".
He made an impulsive decision on the spot.
From his personal observations and everything that he learned from puppeteering the old Clown Society, he knew a lot about the Immortals and their specialties. To him, they could definitely help to accelerate the Planet's downfall.
All he needed to integrate them here was to convince Captain Lee.
"Yes, Ancestor".
Din left to inform the others to fulfill the orders.
2 days later, Alexander was finally called by Captain Lee to the strategy room. On getting there, he saw a projection of General Aztog there already.
Alexander scrambled in and found a chair to sit in.
A player who after due diligence worked his way up to become an errand boy to one of the higher-ups in this room also listened nearby. The reason why they let him stay was because of their confidence.
The player came in with literally nothing, there was no way he had a recording device, so they let him stay since he could do nothing.
Unknown to them though, a camera that they could not pinpoint was already recording everything that happened. The Nak General addressed his warriors.
"It is finally time".
"The invasion will start in 5 days".
"To prevent unnecessary losses, it has to be fast, start quick and end quick".
"This is why we need a detailed file on the location of all the planetary defense measures of the enemies, we need to know where to target".
"On your own path, pave the way for us".
"On the 9th hour of the morning, we will make our way in".
General Aztog raised a clenched fist. "For the Nak State".
"For the Nak State".
The others responded to him.
For the next few days, like the Planet Darvis warriors, the Nak Navy worked on finetuning their plans. In no time, it was already 5 days.
That morning, the skies were bright, the sun was shining high in the skies.
The Core Protection Alliance detected the first signs of Battleships.
The invasion was here.
