Chapter 86 - Three Birds With One Stone

There was only silence in the conference room as the parents looked at each other in shock from what they heard. Not one word or whisper could be heard. They would have never thought that Mayor Tian was such a scumbag.

Xiao Ran was satisfied with their expression. She then ordered some of the faculty members; "You can let them in."

'Click...Click.' The flash from the cameras proceeded the pack of reporters who surged into the room like a tidal wave and now surrounded Mayor Tian.

"Mayor Tian! Mayor Tian! How can you be this heartless against such an innocent girl."

"Did you really did that? Mayor Tian?"

Some reporters encircled Tian Mein and asked: "Young Master Tian, what do you think about the accusations leveled against your father?"

Tian Mein grinned his teeth and looked Xiao Ran above with resentfulness. He never thought Xiao Ran would defend Yue Wan this much.

Not being able to face those reporters, the Tian Family left WAX with a stomach full of grievances.

Unable to control his desire, the C3 Homeroom Teacher strolled near The Chief Examiner and asked quietly, "What is taking you guys so long?"

The Chief Invigilator turned his attention back to everyone in the room and said: "I am sorry to say this, but we discovered some cheating material in one of the student's desks."

Hearing the Invigilator's words, everyone gasped in surprise.

Wei Wan clasped her both fists together in fear, and her eyes frozen open. 'Don't say my name...please, don't say my name.' She closed her eyes and chanted in prayer.

Yue Wan kept a discrete gaze on Wei Wan's emotional face and sniggered at her panicked condition. 'Ah... Wei Wan. Now you know what fear is, don't you?'

The Examiner continued, "As per the rules set by WAX, that student will be expelled from the institution, and the teacher will be demoted with his salary reduced to 10%. If the teacher was discovered to have helped the student cheat, then his teaching license will be terminated and he will never be allowed to teach again."

The C3 Homeroom Teacher's face beamed with excitement. Everything was falling into place perfectly as he planned. After so many days, his dreams were finally coming true. If Teacher An was expelled with his student, it means that he killed all three birds with one stone, "He..hehe...More and More Money will knock my door." His heart jolted just thinking of all the monetary rewards that he would soon get in the future.

It took a few minutes to control his malicious glee. Then he gazed at those three birds. .....

First, he looked at Teacher An with a cunning smirk in his lip, 'Teacher An! You are my first strike.'

After a Second, he gaped at Yue Wan with his eyes wandering over her body in corrupted thought, 'Miss. Yue, You are not in my plan at first, but a dealer snapped quite a lot of money for your expulsion.'

And at last, a girl with a trembling figure appeared into his view, with a lopsided grin, he muttered, 'Young Miss Wei! Your dealer gave quite extra to destroy you. You really made a big enmity with such a person.'

If you looked close enough at that teacher, you could see subtle strands of drool leaking from the corner of his mouth when he stared at Yue Wan and Wei Wan.

Teacher An, Yue Wan, and Wei Wan were the primary targets of today's expulsion. C3 Homeroom Teacher made this plan to humiliate Teacher An. However, he got a proposal for two more victims with tons of money bags.

Chief Examiner's booming voice filled the room, leaving no question of doubts as to what happened. "Arrest that student and her teacher..."

'Finally! All the glory will be mine!' The C3 Homeroom Teacher had to control himself in order not to give himself away. With a sinister smile, he waited for the show to start, but to his dismay, a few guards were standing in front of him, blocking his view.

With an annoyed expression, he raised his hand to slap those guards away, "Get Lost, you are blocking my view!"

One of the security guards captured his raised hand and twisted the arm behind C3 Homeroom Teacher's back and warned: "You don't have any right to speak until the investigation has ended."

With his eyes wide, the C3 Homeroom Teacher muttered, "Wait?!? What?! Why are you arresting me?"

"Why?! Take a look..." The Examiner threw a stack of papers at the ground. They scattered around them, irrefutable proof of his crime. The C3 Homeroom Teacher bent over and grabbed one of the pieces of paper on the ground with his one hand while the other twisted behind his back. His superior face changed into one of fear and panic.

"Why are you showing it to me? These all belong to the student of Teacher An."

"But we found this under YOUR student's desk...." A faculty member, who had helped the Examiner investigate, said while indicating where the evidence was found.

The C3 Homeroom Teacher screamed in fright, as he pointed his finger at Teacher An. "He did it. He did this to frame me! It was all his plan! ... Why are you blaming me? I am completely innocent!"

Then like a snap, he leaned his body towards The Chief Examiner and spoke in a voice filled with disbelief, "This is not mine. This is not mine! Someone is playing a trick on me. They set this up to tarnish my name...." While continuously stating his innocence, he gave a sideways glance at Teacher An, indicating that he was the culprit.

Huffing in disbelief, another faculty member rebuked the C3 Homeroom Teacher's statement, "That is not possible... Only the Examiner knew about which classroom the exam was being held in. As for the rest of us faculty members? We only knew about it this morning."

The C3 Homeroom Teacher was grinding his teeth, "What if they planted the evidence it right before the exam started?"

Teacher An snickered at his foolishness. "Just take a lookup." He pointed at the CCTV above them and clarified: "Two days ago, a certain student made a specific request. So, in order to ensure fairness and accuracy, WAX installed CCTV cameras in every hall and classroom of the institute. So, we might be able to prevent anyone from cheating, as well as to provide evidence. … for clearing up the misunderstandings. … If you want, you can check out the feed for yourself." Teacher An secretly gestured at Tai Sun with gratitude without others' awareness.

The Chief Examiner shook his head and replied: "That is not necessary, Teacher An. Before coming here, we had already checked the CCTV feed for this area."

The C3 Homeroom Teacher felt like a bolt of lightning struck his body. All of his carefully laid plans, along with all of his escape routes, were now worth nothing.
