Chapter 99 - I'll kick you out of Yue

"Who are you to address me that way? Don't forget I am YUE WAN, the only granddaughter of General Yue, Yue Zhao."

Her razor-edged voice of every word echoed in the hall like a Lion's roar.

"Are you worthy?" her chilling voice stopped the retort Mr. Hong prepared. Her eyes narrowed viciously, stepping toward Mr. Hong and lowered her voice that she knew he will be the only one hearing, "Call me with that name again. I swear you can never use your waging tongue again.."

"Growl... Growl." Little Bao was in front of Mr. Hong at lightning speed and growling with biting action.

Mr. Hong shivered in horror, his face drenched with sweat in panic and his heart palpitated in a way he thought everyone in the room can hear it loudly. He was once reprimanded by General Yue for being lazy and after so many years he saw the same aura on this girl, 'General Yue ver. 2?'

Grandfather Xiao never liked being threatened, yet this young girl instilled fear in him unknowingly. Putting himself as the older generation that supposed to be looked up upon, he castigated her for her unruly behavior, "Is this what Yue House rules and regulation been teaching their young generation? An unrestrained attitude?"

Xiao Hua slapped his forehead, 'You damn Old man, are you that eager to die?'

Yue Xiang, the other Yue 'young generation' unwillingly dragged, tilted his head downward 'I am not responsible for this.'

"Unrestrained attitude? You can reprimand my brother as much as you want because you're his teacher. As for me," She gave scoffing laugh, the contempt in her eyes flowed out without her trying to hide it.

"I am unrestrained before Xiao."

Xiao Ran who arrived right now stood behind Yue Wan with astonishment adorning her face. 'What the hell happened when I wasn't here?'

She gazed at her disguised brother and signalled, "Bro, aren't you supposed to be the hero who saves the damsel in distress?"

With heart-shaped eyes, Xiao Hua's goofy face showed his thought clearly , 'Look at my wife, isn't she awesome.' He wanted nothing but to declare his love for the world even in this situation.

Xiao Ran's mini-version appeared on her left shoulder and slapped her cheek, 'Wake up Ran Ran, you're not dreaming. Hua really lost his mind.'

Witnessing Xiao Hua's smug expression, Yue Xiang hand itched to probe inside his damn head, 'This lunatic, what the hell is stuffed in his brain.'

Advisor Yu in her calm voice tried to mediate the two parties, "Miss Yue! At this time, one will usually prove their innocence instead of making things more complicated."

Carrying a half-hearted smile on her lips, she boldly said, "I have only one rule in life and that is my rule. If others do not show their respect to me, then don't they dare to expect the same thing from me. It is not my obligation to show everyone what my character is, as long as I have people who trusted me unconditionally, that will be good enough."

Her voice was loud and clear with dignity, causing everyone in the room to ponder her words in mind with their own life beliefs.

Advisor Yu, who at first trying to make Yue Wan step back a little and give some face to the Xiao, saluted Yue Wan as she showed her the respect, trust, and leadership that one should deserve.

Yue Wan nodded to her as an acknowledgment and then she made a short whistle, signalling the little guy to follow her.

Little Bao quickly followed Mr. Hong's side and followed his Mommy with a feeling of euphoria that they were untouchable.

While she was cross her path near Xiao Ran, Yue Wan gave a simple nod of acknowledgment.

The stunned Xiao Ran grinned at Yue Wan and cheered at her with a thumbs up, 'Nice lecture for that old man.'

Before exiting the door, Yue Wan turned back and gazed at her sibling, "Don't ever beg others again and be a disgrace. If you do that, I will kick you out of Yue."

Grandfather Xiao's eyes widen as he notices Yue Zhao's shadow behind her saying the same line in the past.

"Impossible!" He muttered.

Yue Xiang's memory flashed with images of his grandfather schooling him in a similar way of threat. He smiled unconsciously yet proudly at his baby sister changes, 'Grandpa, she definitely has your temper.'

After that, he excused himself from Xiao Villa and followed his sister.

As for Xiao Hua, he stayed back to knock some sense in his old man. 'As expected, she is definitely worthy to be my wife' Smugness filled his face while he stared at Yue Wan's straight back.

----Inside the-car----

Yue Wan now sat in the front seat with Little Bao on her lap. She rubbed his body with her fingers, earning a deep purr from the little one.

Yue Xiang didn't say any word, he felt that today's disaster was somewhat his responsibility. He wouldn't have brought Yue Wan to Xiao Villa if he knew that his Teacher had a bad impression on Yue Wan beforehand.

"It's your fault."

Yue Xiang gaped at the person who suddenly spoke, breaking the silence in the car.

Yue Wan contemplated her image via side mirror, "I might have gone little overboard today."

Sensing the presence of his old innocent, harmless, and bunny Little Wan, Yue Xiang let out the breath he didn't even realize was holding, he was a little on the edge inside.

"No----" Yet, before he could even finish, the sight he saw interrupted what we wanted to say.

Yue Wan looked at him with a bright smile, as she bragged, "Still, that old man deserves it. He was so full of himself when he was arguing with you. How dare he spouted that nonsense.....bla bla."

Yue Wan continued her lament with a bit of sulkiness.

Nevertheless, Yue Xiang's lips pressed together as his consciousness drifted somewhere...
