Chapter 115 - Do You Have A Boyfriend

The boss of the place was a thirty-five-year-old man with a very unique style. It looked as if he had just rolled out of bed and came to see her, his hair was messy, his shirt was half-buttoned and the way he walked with a lazy hump on his shoulder.

One look would make others believe that this person was carefree and homeless. However, she knew what this man was capable of. To manage this much of fortune and hiding under a slum area was not an easy task.

Yue Wan thought for a while about the person in front of her. It really was best not to underestimate him. This man was definitely not as simple and calm as he appeared on the outside.

Sitting down in the big chair, the man yawned, his long eyelashes brushed across his cheeks as he closed his eyes briefly. An assistant entered the room carrying a tray of warm tea, he set it on the table between the two of them and served both his Boss and Yue Wan some tea. Once he was done, the Boss waved his hand for his assistant to leave them alone.

Before Yue Wan could speak, a cold voice threw an irrelevant question at her, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

Yue Wan's face was slightly dumbfounded for a moment before replying, "No."

He rubbed his sore neck, he opened his deep, black eyes and observed her with his head cocked to one side, "Then why are there so many dark guards around my house?" He raised his eyebrows in a questioning manner.

Yue Wan's lips pulled back as she turned her head over, seeming unwilling to accept the action of her overprotective brother. 'Big Brother!'

That man chucked, "Call me Brother Yun, and you are?"

Yue Wan cleared her throat and replied, "Young Miss Yue."

His eyes widen for a fraction of a second before turning back to normal. Looking her over again he asked: "So tell me, why are you searching for the owner of this ring?"

Looking straight into the man's eyes, Yue Wan responded with her crystal clear voice, "I already know who the owner is, and he is sitting right in front of me."

When these words were out, Brother Yun had a stunned expression on his face and his eyes that looked at Yue Wan were filled with deep meaning. Hearing from her tone, it was as if she was damn sure it belongs to him. However, he never knew this woman before today. How come she was so very familiar with his family heirloom?

"Be that as it may… But, how are you so sure that it belongs to me?" Brother Yun asked again.

Yue Wan took a sip of the tea and touched the rim of the hot cup. Her powerful voice exposed what he was trying to hide from the light. "The ring belongs to one of the aristocrat's families of this city. Or, to be more precise, it was the heirloom of the Xie Family."

She looked up as her golden gazed pierced into him, "Am I right? Mr. Xie Lingyun, Owner of the Black Market."

Yue Wan's words were airtight, causing Xie Lingyun's feigned smile to stiffen.

In her past life, that person stole this ring from her and took all the credit. And as the leader of the Black Market, Xie Lingyun helped her as her shadow to defeat the Yue family. That's why, when she was accused of Xiao Ran's murder, they found every evidence pointing to her.

However, this time she will tear the culprits mask off in front of everyone, on that same fateful day.

Shutting his eye, Xie Lingyun's lips broke into a smile. His tone was still a bit flat, "Say. ...How much do you want?"

"I want this Black Market."

Xie Lingyun sucked in a cold lump of air, he stared with wide eyes, "What?"

Xie Lingyun stood up abruptly and caressed his brown hair, he said, "Sorry Young Miss, I am not interested. Just give me my ring."

Placing the cup down, Yue Wan sat with a cross leg before him and her hand elegantly folded above it, "Mr. Xie Lingyunn, I am just kidding."

"If I really want your shop, I wouldn't ask you for it, I would simply have it in my hands r.i.g.h.t now." Her golden eyes glowed with ferociousness.

Xie Han's body shiver in fear. He jumped back into his seat, "State your demands"

The Young lady looked down at the tea in front of her and saw the reflection of her face staring back at her. Her voice was smooth and waveless, but there was a trace of heavy pressure which made the entire room felt suffocating.

"Before we talk about business, I want you to do three things for me. First one, there is a person who used Grace as an alias name to bid certain things, and I want you to trace---."

Butting in her talk, Xie Lingyun scoffed, "I can easily find that person."

"You can't find the person who is already dead. .." Her cold voice rang out.

Xie Lingyun stared wide-eyed, he murmured, "How do you know that?"

"If I am correct, that person used my name to bid on things from Black Market two years ago. She probably has not bid on anything since. Therefore, once she had accomplished what she was told to do, she should have been murdered and disposed of somewhere."

Yue Wan looked straight into him as she continued, "I want you to find out everything you can about what items she was bidding on, including the original owners of the items she auctioned off."

Xiao Lingyun nodded, "Can be done. What are the other two conditions?"

Yue Wan got up, "Once you finished this first task, call me on this number. In addition, find me this painting by tomorrow." She placed a paper before him which contained her phone number along with a photo and left the room.

Before she left, she turned back around and, in her sweet voice with a cunning smirk on her lips she said: "Until then, the ring will be in my possession. So, don't try to do anything that you shouldn't."

Xie Lingyun gazed at her retreating figure and smirked, "Looks like a gentle bunny, but speak like a ferocious lion."
