Chapter 162 - Clear That Thing In Your Stomach

----Flashback-continues----

She shed a tear at the thought she might always be like this, hidden away in that barren home waiting for time to pass only to find out that she was all alone.

"Daddy!!!..." She cried out for him in her sleep again and again. Wanting nothing but to be in his arms once again, but she lost him… and it was her fault. She had chosen the path that led to this destruction.

On those nights, all she could do in those long dark hours was to find an enclosed place and compressed like a ball to shake until the tears subside.  A hellish kind of isolation where her only company was the cold floor and darkness.

Soon her smiles were reflexive and her eyes were dull and oh so empty. When she laughed it sounded like the hollow laugh of a man about to die.

However, everything about her life changed on that day when she found out about her pregnancy. After getting the report from the doctors, she repeatedly touched her flat stomach and finally, she had first tears of joy. 'My child! My flesh and blood! Is it a boy? A girl? Who cares!!! It was hers, a part of her.'

Yue Wan giggled and caressed her stomach with bright eyes: "Mommy will love you more than anything in the world. I will protect you hereafter little one."

The unconditional love for the child grew like a tree and flourished happiness in her heart. She even thought about giving her marriage a chance and start with a fresh beginning. However, she didn't get a chance to say it to him.

The last time she met him... HE accused her of having an affair with someone.

That memory was still fresh and painful inside her.

.....Flashback--to Xiao--Villa.....

Yue Wan returned home and saw the man sitting quietly on a chair not too far away from her. He was dressed in an expensive and luxurious suit. He was charming and… classy. He was sitting there quietly yet formidably with a sense of mysteriousness.

Tension and panic shrieked the entire room. He did not bat an eyelid to her and seemed to be extremely nonchalant and indifferent towards everything around him.

Yue Wan could not help but feel extremely anxious, there were lots of words she wanted to speak and argue but nothing came, she moved slowly toward him.

Staring at the man, who hadn't shown up for an entire 2 months, Yue Wan nervously asked: "Where have you been? I need to tell y----"

Xiao Hua opened his eyes, not showing a trace of humanity. "Clear that thing in your stomach! Now!"

Yue Wan's eyes widened in shock, her heart pounded vigorously against her chest, she sputtered: "W..h.. Wha..t!"

"Wan, did you forget what I said before? Even though I forgave you for your affair, my Xiao is not a place for that dirty...."

'Slap' It ranged right across Xiao Hua's face. Yue Wan's palm printed on his pale face.

Yue Wan grabbed Xiao Hua's collar and yelled furiously: "You bastard... How could you say my child dirty? He is an equal flesh and blood of yours formed due to our relationship. You monster!"

Xiao Hua kept his eyes fixed on Yue Wan, scrutinizing her each and every facial expression. Removing himself from her grasp, he straightened his suit.

"Our relationship?" His eyes became darker than usual as if to suck her soul in.

Yue Wan retreated a step away from the man's searing stare.

Like a cold-blooded animal, he stated: "I have two options for you; one, empty your stomach; two, Forget getting the Yue." 

After saying that he left the villa.

On hearing that, Yue Wan's body crumbled on the floor, tears filled waves of sadness consequently blurring her vision. The salty release calmly flowed into her mouth so that she could taste her own sorrow.

Bitter. Unforgiving. Pain.

....

That day before getting kidnapped.

Yue Wan walked aimlessly on the street like a corpse but her leg took her to the place she once called home.

A vision of her father standing in the entrance with open arms appeared before her, but before she could touch him, he vanished into thin air.

She never got to tell her father, how much she loved him for the last time.

The guards hadn't let her inside the Yue and instead, threw her out like a rag.

Laying on the muddy ground, Yue Wan looked up and saw the image of Yue Xue and the First Elder behind the curtain. Her golden eyes welled up and tears stream down her dirty face, her lips trembling until she bit them.

That night she made a decision to live away from this city and raise her baby alone. She wanted to teach her baby everything her father taught her and most importantly she would teach her baby how to love and cherish the persons those who love him/her.

Unfortunately, she was too late for that it just became an untouchable dream for her...

....Back-to-the-present...

The shaky walls that held her up, that had made her strong, just collapsed. Brick by brick, her walls came tumbling down and fell apart after finding out that Ye Xian was Xiao Hua all along. In the past, Xiao Hua and Yue Wan never had any close relationship other than that one night, so she never really found anything unusual about Ye Xian.

She pressed her head against the floor and mourned: "Baby! My innocent.... baby! Mommy.. is... bad! I ..... ..fell...in... love with... monster! I..  am so...sorry!" She banged her forehead against the floor with every word, hoping against all hope that her unborn child would forgive her.

With despair and hatred that could not be expressed, she curled up like a ball against the cold floor and fell into a dreamless sleep.

A while later, a tiny little creature licked her tear away and mowed in a low voice. It turned itself into a big black Leopard and covered her body to keep her warm the entire night.

On the second day, there was no news report about the Li family.  Even those articles exposing the relationship between Li Rong and Wei Wan were taken down.

Since that night, the annihilation of the Wei and Li Rong being imprisoned was the top news, however, today there was some buzz about Wei, yet there was no report about Li Rong.

It was totally covered with the forthcoming news.
