Chapter 168 - You Are My Everything

Yue Wan raised her perturbed teary eyes to him: "Don't! Don't you f***ing say that word? After you completely drained and hollowed out all hope and belief I had inside me? What more do you want? You b***rd! Why are you kneen in making my life hell!"

Her hoarse bass voice echo in rage.

Xiao Hua grasped her trembling shoulder and poured out his heart: "I wanted to tell you that I loved you since the first day I found my feelings, but I was afraid I'd scare you away."

"Afraid! What are you afraid of? Huh! The mighty leader of Dark knights. Don't give me the f***ing answer that you don't have the courage because I'll be damned if I believe that for a single second."

Yue Wan's body was completely taken over by her past emotion, so anger and resentment covered her sense of listening.

She slapped his chest away to avoid his touch: "Don't touch me! Stay away! You accused me of cheating when you are the real big cheater. Imposter! Murderer! I hate you! I don't want to live in that hell! Stay away from my life!" She shrieked.

However, she could not escape his embrace.

Xiao Hua pressed his thin lips together, to suppress his chest pain. Yet, his eyes didn't leave the girl's face. While the images of that night kept flashing by…

-----drunken night(Memory)-----

'Enough with blabbering! Recognise me, Wan!'

'Hua,' her fair face was red and her clear eyes were covered with haze.

'Never cheated after my marriage.'

'....left me and the baby to die so horribly!'

'W.h.o is your husband?'

'You of course.'

--------End--------

Yue Wan had only seen me once before for a short time, so how did she identify my face so easily as being Xiao Hua!? She is acting like she was projecting someone's emotion from her body. But... Who? What does she mean that I left her and the baby die? Who are you really, Wan?

To clear up the misunderstanding, Xiao Hua lifted her head up and saw a pair of eyes that looked at him were full of hatred and bitterness.

Xiao Hua hugged the girl tighter and whispered in a deep voice: "I am sorry, but I will tell you everything. Please don't hate me! Give me a chance."

The moment he spoke those words, all those built-up negative feelings from her previous and current life exploded. The tears which the girl had been holding back for so long rolled down on her cheek.

She still struggled to be free from his embrace, she choked on words with a throaty voice: "I won't! I will never believe in a liar! Go away!"

Watching how badly she was crying, he felt a bit guilty. He embraced the girl tightly but his face paled second by second.

That movement had pulled at his wounds. The wound that had recently stopped bleeding started again. However, the pain of seeing her cry made him more miserable.

A while later...

Smelling the thick, metallic scent of blood, Yue Wan regained her senses back. She distanced her body away from and saw Xiao Hua's white shirt turned red.

Xiao Hua's stitches had been slightly coming off due to her repeated beating on his chest.

The hatred and rage, she had just now were gone completely, her entire face filled with concern and her forehead was instantly covered in fine beads of sweat. "Oh No! Blood! You are hurt! Why didn't you stay put in the house?"

Xiao Hua opened his mouth as if wanting to speak, but sudden burning on the chest made him yelp in pain: "Mhhh!!!"

Yue Wan: "Stop talking, Hua!"

This ruthless and gloomy man before her eyes used to be the greatest nightmare of her life. She hated him to death for her entire life. However, seeing him in pain, her heart started to sting uncontrollably.

Xiao Hua crouched down on the floor grasping his chest. Though he was close to losing consciousness, hearing her calling him as 'Hua' gave him the hope to rectify his mistake.

Yue Wan came back to her senses and quickly helped him over to the sofa opposite. She carefully helped him to remove that shirt.

She couldn't help but soften her heart seeing the big bandage drenched in blood.

Pressing the button on the table she calls for help. : "Just a sec. Help will be here."

Soon the waiter, who was none other than Dong Yi, opened the door and rushed in. Seeing the bloody appearance, he was terror-stricken and scared out of his wits: "Prince!!"

He quickly transmitted a red signal to his members to prepare for evacuating.

Opening his tired eyes, Xiao Hua's indifferent gaze landed on Yue Wan. "Come here." His voice a sick and fragile cold.

A subtle trace of light finally flashed in her golden eyes, seeing him talking again: "Are you in pain?"

Xiao Hua stared at her face. He slowly reached out for those eyes that seemed to be on tears for his pain: "Wan... Do you remember what you said to my old man when you first came to Xiao?"

-------

Yue Wan: "Just because of a random ..... word ..... can't decide my character like that."

-------

But for Yue Wan, it expressed: 'Just by that past, you shouldn't judge my present character like that.'

Xiao Hua continued: "I don't know what made you resent me, but I can promise you that there won't be anyone else in this world that will love you more than I do. Though I regret my actions for lying to you, however, those feelings from Ye Xian were truly from my heart! Wan! No matter what! You are my everything, so give a chance to pro----" Before saying any more, he fainted.

Not waiting another moment, the dark guards quickly carried their Prince via the secret exit.

Before leaving, Dong Yi requested Miss Yue to keep their today's action secret from her brother, as Yue Xiang gave them a strict order to not let Xiao Hua leave the Villa.

Once Xiao Hua left the room along with guards, Yue Wan stood there while staring in the direction HE had gone.

Yue Wan felt as if she was a fool. How could she feel concern and worry over him?

She couldn't dispel his pale face expression from her mind.

Even with a different face, Yue Wan caught a hint of worry and heartache in his eyes as he said those words and she could not help but to recall her interactions with Ye Xian.

She too didn't know her feelings very well, it was only that the like she had for Ye Xian was completely opposite from the feelings that she had for Xiao Hua. But those kisses and tight hugs from him were not faked and she didn't hate them at all.

Sentiment? Love?… He was different from the past Xiao Hua, she knew! The current HE was not like the past man.

Am I doing the right thing?

Why my heartache like I lost something? And these tears were not stopping...Why?

Yue Wan's heart was in chaos.
