Chapter 28 - Kidnap you

Although the pain decreased to some extent, it was still there, and Jinhee winced due to the soreness as she sat up on the infirmary bed.

Earlier, when Jaehyun was seated beside her, she was too embarrassed to face him, and therefore, covered her face with the blanket. In the midst of that, she couldn't recall when she actually fell asleep.

His sudden confession was enough to let deep shock imprint into Jinhee's mind, and for the entire walk, Jinhee couldn't muster up the courage to ask something.

'Jaehyun must be possessed by a spirit!'

"I leave you for a while, and you end up in trouble! In the future, I should stick closer to you," Taehee spoke out with anger and grief laced in her tone.

'The sadistic Taehee was not happy with this entire thing? It could be because Jaehyun bought me here, and she's not satisfied with me.'

"There's nothing between Jaehyun and me," Jinhee clarified— her tone void of any emotions.

Jinhee was tired of being sensitive to all these pathetic emotions; She desperately prayed that she'd be indifferent to both Jaehyun and Taehee.

"That's good then!" Taehee's mood lifted up visibly, causing Jinhee to feel despondent. "For those two, I'll think of a suitable punishment."

'Is she angry with them because they let Jaehyun and me be together? Does Jinhee really love Jaehyun?'

The thought caused Jinhee to feel suffocated, and the rage within her rose. She wanted to direct it towards Jaehyun and Taehee for if she did not chase after them relentlessly in her previous life, she wouldn't have been reborn.

Gripping her bedsheets tightly, Jinhee spoke out, "Jaehyun confessed to me."

If Taehee ignored her, Jinhee would have spared her. However, even since her rebirth, Taehee irritated Jinhee and forcefully pushed her ideas on Jinhee everytime. The previous Jinhee must have been fond of it, but this Jinhee feels that it makes her weak.

Moreover, she did not want Jaehyun to talk with her grandfather about them; She did not want to get engaged to Jaehyun. If he was truly chasing after her, he might discuss the matter with her grandfather.

However, with Taehee's influence, if she had feelings for Jaehyun, she'd definitely use her power to not let Jaehyun and Taehee get engaged.

When her grandfather Dowon finds about this troublesome situation, he natural wouldn't lead Jinhee into it, considering how much he dotes upon her.

"What did you reply with then?" Taehee questioned solemnly. Jinhee's thought was right; Her above sentence was enough to break Taehee's composure.

"I'm still thinking about it," Jinhee answered whilst carefully examining Taehee's face.

There was huge change of Taehee antagonizing after Jinhee. This might be help Jinhee in forgetting all the gratefulness and positive emotions she felt towards Taehee. If Taehee wanted to plant thorns in Jinhee's path, Jinhee had thought of ideas to remove them.

Naturally, her IQ and status was not high enough to match Taehee's, but Jinhee believed that her perseverance could not be that easily defeated.

"You need to be extremely careful when choosing guys these days. They can not be absolutely trusted by their outer appearances at all, and you need to give this a thought for at least two to three months."

If it was in some other situation, Jinhee might have taken Taehee for being benevolent, but after coming upon the scene of both of the kissing under her back, Jinhee could only feel dispirited at Taehee's words. As expected, Taehee did not want them to end up together.

"However, as far as I have known Jaehyun, he doesn't seem like someone bad, and grandfather Dowon has a decent opinion on him."

"Even if your grandfather finds him decent, you'll be the one to choose, and without mutual love, a relationship would not sustain for long."

"What if I fall in love with him after getting in a relationship with him or what if I'm in already love with him," Jinhee spoke out.

Jinhee attempted to push Taehee to the extreme extent and wanted to completely break down that composed expression of hers.

"Then, I'll just kidnap you and lock you up."
