Jaehyun pressed Jinhee's hand softly and whispered into her ear, "Don't be nervous."
This attribute was similar to Jaehyun in her previous life. Although he was not direct with his words, it was easily for others to understand what he meant.
'Tsundere' could be used to describe him. His indirect way of meaning that he was here for him caused warmth to seep in through Jinhee's heart. She was the same fool from her last life for Jaehyun.
'No, Jinhee, you're not. This time, you're more resolute.'
It was quite easy to understand why Jaehyun managed to capture the hearts of many female, other than his appearance.
Despite being aloof, his presence was enough to provide others with sense of comfort and reassurance. Although he rarely used sugary words to compliment others, the females preferred the honest side of him.
There was no unnecessary arrogance shown by him, and he did not misbehave when it came to females.
"Both of you appear to be a sweet couple," Shin Sekyung commented— wearing a bright smile on her face.
Currently both of them were seated at the couch at the Shin's place, and the married couple sat opposite to them. A light-hearted expression was placed on Changmin's face.
"You both remind me of us when we're young," Changmin spoke out.
Today was Jinhee's first time meeting up with Jaehyun after that sudden confession, and therefore, the air between them remained awkward. Jinhee had no idea on how to face Jaehyun or give an answer to his confession.
"Changmin was really dense when it came to romance, like our Jaehyun-ah, so I had to put in a lot of effort," Sekyung voiced out.
Jinhee politely smiled at her and gave no reply for she did not know how to do so. Jaehyun and Jinhee were no couple, and since Jaehyun did not decline about it, Jinhee found it rude to interfere for she still was a stranger to them.
"My cousin sister's son, Min Hyunbin, had returned to South Korea and will be attending your school. He's quite a troublemaker, so I hope you can take care of him with whatever methods you prefer. His parents or we won't interfere."
A apologetic look was placed on Changmin's face whilst he looked at both Jaehyun and Jinhee. In her last life, she was not close to Changmin at this period of life and therefore, did not know of this matter.
However, when she got acquainted with the Shin family, Jinhee learned that Hyunbin got involved with the wrong side and died very young.
"Sure, Mr. and Mrs. Shin," Jinhee spoke out courteously.
The boy was mature enough to take care of himself, and if he messed with the wrong things, that was none of Jinhee's concern. She already got lot on her plate, and she was no saint.
Jinhee let out a soft sigh. Even though Jinhee kept on repeating that to herself, she knew that she couldn't be that cruel hearted.
Although it wouldn't be beneficial to her and could rather bring harm, she knew that she'd concern herself with the matters of Hyunbin subconsciously.
After all, Jinhee did not want to feel guilty deep inside for not stopping something she could have. She'll just stay extra cautious and avoid being implicated.
Jaehyun nodded.
"We're just waiting for someone; Once she arrives, we can get started with the dinner."
Right then, a cheerful voice was heard. "I'm here!"
