Chapter 44 - Past repeats

"I'll be going to the washroom," Chaewon spoke out, leading for Jinhee's to get sharper for she recalled something.

In her last life, the scene played out exactly same, except for the fact that Hyunbin was not there beside them. Chaewon and Jinhee paired up together whilst Jaehyun and Taehee was together.

When Chaewon excused herself to the washroom, a classmate of theirs came and informed Jinhee on how she was called to one of the storeroom by Jaehyun and Taehee.

Like a fool, she believed in that classmate's words and entered into the storeroom only to find out that it was a trick, and she was locked from behind.

No matter how much she cried out for help, no on heard them, and therefore, she had to stay locked there for almost 24 hours. When she was found, her body was weak, and she was found fainted with a high fever.

After she returned to school, she was scolded tremendously by her teachers for being a trouble, and she earned the reputation of a 'true idiot' among her classmates. The incident was truly humiliating!

"Alright then," Jinhee answered, "You can call us once you're back or if you meet up with any trouble."

As Jinhee was not aware of how things went with Chaewon at this period of time in her last life, she couldn't help but be worried that something wrong with her. Since she had to keep an eye of Hyunbin too, she couldn't accompany Chaewon.

Chaewon nodded before turning her back ok Jinhee and walking away. Although they were not close enough to be called friends, in these few days, Jinhee build up quite a relation with Chaewon, and it was close to friendship.

"I'm thirsty!" Hyunbin exclaimed.

Jinhee rolled her eyes.

"Then, go and bring a water bottle from there," She spoke out, pointing at the distance where the teacher was passing out the water bottles. "In the meanwhile, I'll go up the stairs and click the pictures from up there."

Snatching the camera from Jinhee's hand, Hyunbin voiced out, "I want to take pictures too! So, you go and fetch me a bottle of water, old hag!"

"I'm not even older than you, so stop calling me," Jinhee voiced out. There was nothing pleasant about being called an old hag.

"You look older than me. Now, go and bring me a bottle of water! You're really an old hag to not understand and do that in the first command," Hyunbin expressed.

An irked expression on Jinhee's face, and she scoffed. "This is truly not an attitude one should use when one should be requesting for something."

"I'm ordering you, not requesting you." Hyunbin rolled his eyes.

'This level of disrespect...Forget it, Jinhee! Since he was being unexpectedly obedient the entire time, listen to him this one time.'

Jinhee let out a sigh. "Fine, but don't you dare damage my camera and stay near the stairs. I don't have time to search for a lost kid!"

"Who are you calling a lost kid!? Come back here and square up!"

Ignoring Hyunbin yells, Jinhee walked towards the teacher with the lips curved upwards. Is this the feeling Taehee gets everytime she successfully annoys her?

With a water bottle in her hands, she was about to return to Hyunbin when a scene caught her eyes and made her unable to move.

Inside the narrow gap between two walls, a female and male was inside it. The male's back was leaned against the wall whilst the female's hands were holding the male's waist. Her lips were on the male's.

The scene between Taehee and Jaehyun made Jinhee drop the water bottle in her hand, and pain was evident in her widened eyes. It reminded her of the scene from her last life, and tears glistened at the corner of Jinhee's eyes.

With a shocked expression, Jaehyun and Taehee stared at Jinhee, and before they could say something, Jinhee ran away, not wanting them to see her pained expression.
