Looking at her almost empty wallet, Jinhee let out a sigh. Chaewon and Jaehyun kept the amount they have eaten to normal. It was Taehee and Hyunbin ate as if they were challenging each other on who could eat the most.
Moreover, the restaurant chosen by them was not cheap, and a part of Jinhee wished them to get an indigestion. This was most definitely the reason Taehee gave her three votes to Jinhee.
"Such a satisfying meal!" Taehee commented, "If it wasn't me being considerate for Jinhee's money, I would've ordered two more times."
Jinhee scoffed internally.
'What a joke! If you're considerate, you wouldn't have eaten all these in the first place!'
"Are you okay?" Jaehyun questioned— concern noticeable in his tone.
"Noona, you should treat me to such meals in the future more. I didn't have appetite for a long time, Noona, but this time, I ate with satisfaction and am craving for more, Noona," Hyunbin voiced out.
Each time Hyunbin used the word 'Noona', Jinhee felt as if he was mocking her, and looking at him, she simply forced out a smile. She couldn't let him have the satisfaction of seeing her angry.
"Noona?" Chaewon questioned— surprise present in her tone.
"You didn't know? Noona—"
Kicking his knee, Jinhee feigned a smile towards Chaewon and said, "Don't listen to him. He spouts rubbish most of the time."
"Yah! You old lady! That hurts!" Hyunbin groaned whilst he directed a scowl towards Jinhee.

"I apologize for calling you here so late," Jaehyun spoke out.
In the café, which was at the ground floor of their hotel, Jinhee and Jaehyun was seated opposite to each other. Two cups of coffee with some cookies was placed in front of them.
"It's alright, Jaehyun. I'm happy to help," Jinhee voiced out.
A serious expression sat on Jaehyun's face, and taking out an envelope, he said, "No one was permitted inside the ball without an invitation, so it had to be one of the guests in the list or the male servers."
Opening the envelope, Jaehyun took out all the pictures and arranged them on the table. Picking up the cup of coffee, Jinhee took a sip out of it.
Showing her the first picture, Jaehyun questioned, "Let's get started. Does this resemble him?"
°°°
After the forty-fifth picture, Jinhee let out a despondent sigh. Three more pictures were only left, and Jinhee barely recognized the characters from the previous pictures.
The only features Jinhee recalled was that man had a moustache and dark brown hair. He wore a pair of black rimmed spectacle and had a grin expression.
That's when something stuck Jinhee's mind. Widening her eyes up at realization, Jinhee put the cup of coffee down and stared at Jaehyun excitedly.
"A scar!" Jinhee exclaimed, "There was a scar on his chin!"
She, then, continued, "That scar of him made him stick out of everyone. It started from beside his lips and towards the end of his chin."
However, after listening to Jinhee's words, Jaehyun appeared to be be deep in thought, and as a crestfallen expression appeared on his face, Jaehyun took out a picture.
Seeing the sudden shift of emotions on Jaehyun's face, creases appeared between both of Jinhee's eyebrows. Seeing the picture Jaehyun put in front of her, Jinhee found the man looking extremely similar with man that day.
"Yes, it's him," Jinhee voiced out— her eyes scanning Jaehyun's face to read his emotions.
A sigh left Jaehyun's mouth as he spoke out, "Ahn Yohan, hmm... Another dead end because he passed away a year ago."
"Dead?" Jinhee's eyes widened.
The kidnapper was a really careful and smart person to get rid of all the evidences, which could get him or her in trouble.
"His death was because of a car accident, and the culprit is behind the bars," Jaehyun voiced out.
"This all had to be a disguise to hide the actual killer. Don't take it as a dead end. If you try to investigate his past dealings or something, you might find some clues," Jinhee spoke out, "Now, that you have a clue, you shouldn't give up that easily."
