Before Jinhee could take out her book from the bag, the door to the classroom opened, and expecting it to be the teacher, Jinhee raised her head.
Unfortunately, instead of the one entering being the teacher, Jinkyung, her so-called sister whom she loathed, stepped into the classroom with feigned concern on her face.
Spotting Jinhee, Jinkyung rushed towards her, and most of their classmates stared at Jinhee and Jinkyung, anticipating to see what will be happening next.
"Are you alright, Jinhee-ah?" Jinkyung questioned.
Undertones of worry was visible in her tone, and only a very few would have doubt in her acting skills.
"Why wouldn't I be?" Jinhee questioned whilst putting on a big, bright smile on her face.
"Or were you hoping I wouldn't be?" Jinhee questioned- her eyes sharpening to look out for each of Jinkyung's movements.
"Of course not, Jinhee! I always want the best for you," Jinkyung voiced out.
'Yeah, I can definitely see that!'
"It's just that with the current rumour you'd be uncomfortable," Jinkyung vocalised, "I know how this is your sensitive spot, and now that your secret is out..."
"Secret? Which one are you talking about, Jinkyungie?" Jinhee questioned- raising her eyebrows.
"About you having a, uhm..."
Staring at the ground, Jinkyung pretended to be shy, and a blush covered her cheeks lightly.
Everyone got an idea on what Jinkyung wanted to say, and since Jinkyung was her twin sister, the rumour about Jinhee was actually true, and moreover, with those pictures, no one doubted that Jinhee had a sugar daddy.
"Get out of our class and cry out to that sugar daddy of yours!" A female student chided.
Ignoring that female student, who was desperate for Jinhee's attention, Jinhee continued to stare at Jinkyung, and with a smiling expression, Jinhee voiced out, "About having a what, Jinkyung-ah?"
"I can't say it out loud, Jinhee," Jinkyung voiced out softly.
"If you can curse out loud, Jinkyungie, why can't you say this? Is it worse than those derogatory terms you use?"
Putting on an expression that made her look like as if she was wronged, Jinkyung exclaimed, "You're going too far, Jinhee! I wanted to keep the fact that you have a sugar daddy a secret, but you're being this mean to me."
Tears formed at the corner of Jinkyung's eyes, and looking at her, everyone eventually started to have a worse opinion of Jinhee.
"Sugar daddy? Interesting!"
Jinhee questioned, "Might I ask when did I get this sugar daddy you speak of? No, no, more importantly, who is this sugar daddy?"
"That is, I don't know about it," Jinkyung answered nervously.
"So, you don't know who my sugar daddy is or when I got him, but you know I have one?" Jinhee questioned.
Jinkyung nodded.
"How did you come to the conclusion that I have a sugar daddy? Some silly picture?" Jinhee asked.
"Now, before you answer, please don't use the lie that I told you about it because I absolutely detest you," Jinhee enunciated.
"You hate me, Jinhee-ah? But why?" A tear fell down Jinkyung's cheek.
"Answer me first and we'll talk about your petty emotions."
"T-Those pictures— I have received them from someone, and then, when I asked you the other day—"
Interrupting Jinkyung, Jinhee voiced out, "Do you like me as your sister?"
"Why are you asking me such a question? I definitely like you even though you—"
Crossing her legs, Jinhee voiced out, "So, you like me? That means, you also care for me. Then, why is it that when you first received the pictures, instead of being worried about you, you speculated about me having a sugar daddy.
A person took pictures of me and sent it you. Alright. But then, instead of being worried that I am being stalked or will be in potential danger, you care whether or not I have a sugar daddy.
If you care about me and not worried about me being stalked by someone weird, could it be that you've arranged someone to spy on me?"
